The African King they were looking for called Prester John was an Ethiopian king engaged in battle against the Arabs. When the Portugese first made contact, they did so when the Ethiopian King was engaged in battle in the highlands. The king's name fails me.
Thank you for clarifying this. I could not understand the name spoken during the video. What is obvious about the slave trade is the level of betrayal to the Africans from all allies. And the betrayal is still in tact even to this very day.
