ThewolfofGod. In the 90's I visited a friend's house (Ivan) with my buddy Skip. Ivan showed us 3 or 4 books with pics of African/Black royalty figures. He showed picture after picture of African/Black nobility of different time periods. Me and Skip(pardon the grammar) were blown away!!!.. and realized that these men & women were NOT slaves...but monarchs in the truest sense of the word. The pics were shocking!! Ivan collected the books back and then said this!!! " I KNEW WE WERE SOMEBODY!! " and then this 6ft. 2in. Black man burst into tears....but quickly caught himself. It was an awkward moment. Me & Skip never talked about it to this day. Ivan was university educated and was ashamed of African/Black because he was taught that they did not do anything of note. Ivan burst into tears because his spirit was rescued and renewed by men like Dr. Ben and I suspect that there are thousands of men and women like Ivan across the world. These texts are important.

I’m so proud to have been taught by these Black scholars at the Harlem Preparatory School in Harlem , NY. Dr.Ben and Mr. Simmonds shaped my life. They taught me African History, Economics of the Black Community. We had so much fun with them. They were brilliant, inspiring and so dedicated to us students. They nurtured us. That was true of every teacher at the Prep. They were a blessing to my life; the most dynamic teachers of truth EVER! I cherish their memory. This is a must watch. It’s one of many on you tube. His family have contacted me to “welcome me to the family” How sweet, how classy, how unbelievably kind and accepting. My Jesus is black, my Blessed Mother is black. I am so grateful for the black people in my life. I’m so grateful for Jazz…. So disappointed that they took music and instruments and all music classes out of 🎉poor black schools so now most of any new performers of Jazz, college classes in jazz and jazz history are full of white kids. Dr Ben ….wow… I have 26 of his books. What a knowledgeable soul! He didn’t just read and learn, he traveled to the lands, worked the land, and allowed the Earth to bare witness to the truth. When he speaks of the “strata”, this is his anthropological skills enlightening us. When he starts naming “dynasties”, he’s flexing his historical studies of ancient civilizations. He is our Elder and we were blessed to have him. @ Queen Zyonna X I’d suggest that you read the autobiographical account of the man before you cast aspersions upon him. His name is John Newton. And if you choose to do so you’ll discover what he means by amazing grace, how and why it brought about his conversian to true Christianity as well as what Christianity really is, and what he discovered because of that conversion. In addition, you’ll discover that Newton was one of the many and foremost advocates of the abolition of the very slavery and its trade that he profited from due to his conversion. And, another tidbit, he himself, in God’s providence, irony, and wisdom, was imprisoned and enslaved by his ship’s captain’s African wife ( or mistress) for a year or more, I think, in Africa and treated horribly by her during that lapse of time while his captain was away on business, slaving perhaps, I don’t remember. It would be far better and wiser for you if you also questioned Dr. Ben and any and everyone else, everyone, before you allow yourself to be spoon fed and swallow hook, line, and sinker what he or they assert as truth or falsehood. It's obvious that you now accept without question, it seems, many of things that this man proclaims to be true or false and are in opposition to what you once held or believed to be true or false. Without question and research of not only this man’s work and his claims, and the things he proclaim to be true and false, but also the man himself who’s to say, or more importantly, how are you yourself to know where and when he speaks truthfully or falsely about what you once believed to be true or false and now disbelieve to be so simply on the basis of what he says and because he says it. How are you to believe the truth or falsehood of those things that you never knew about simply because he introduces them to you and proclaims on an authority in himself which you’ve not verified are indeed true or false. I’ve heard this man say things, yank out context, mis-quote, mischaracterized, and falsely attribute and characterize quite a few passages and people of the Bible to warrant on my part suspicion of his integrity, his character, and his scholarship. And I see that same modus operandi in many of his followers. Or should I say sheep. Sort of like when you mischaracterized John Newton by sinking and hiding his later life of Christian conversion in his former life as a slave catcher and slave trader. That’s somewhat tantamount to characterizing Malcolm X not as a martyr for his people, but an ex-pimp, hustler, prisoner, and drug dealer, etc. The ravages of the consequences of slavery and jim crow and this perpetual racism is crushing so much so that it's very understandable that a knowledge of one’s self and history is crucial and light giving but a bought or revised or false history is to be someone we’re not. This is a great watch. Especially, for family gatherings around celebrations. The amount of wisdom and history here is nothing less than a spiritual experience that helps the African regain confidence. He showed picture after picture of African/Black nobility of different time periods. Me and Skip(pardon the grammar) were blown away!!!.. and realized that these men & women were NOT slaves...but monarchs in the truest sense of the word. The pics were shocking!! Ivan collected the books back and then said this!!!

I’d suggest that you read the autobiographical account of the man before you cast aspersions upon him. His name is John Newton. And if you choose to do so you’ll discover what he means by amazing grace, how and why it brought about his conversian to true Christianity as well as what Christianity really is, and what he discovered because of that conversion. In addition, you’ll discover that Newton was one of the many and foremost advocates of the abolition of the very slavery and its trade that he profited from due to his conversion. And, another tidbit, he himself, in God’s providence, irony, and wisdom, was imprisoned and enslaved by his ship’s captain’s African wife ( or mistress) for a year or more, I think, in Africa and treated horribly by her during that lapse of time while his captain was away on business, slaving perhaps, I don’t remember. It would be far better and wiser for you if you also questioned Dr. Ben and any and everyone else, everyone, before you allow yourself to be spoon fed and swallow hook, line, and sinker what he or they assert as truth or falsehood. It's obvious that you now accept without question, it seems, many of things that this man proclaims to be true or false and are in opposition to what you once held or believed to be true or false. Without question and research of not only this man’s work and his claims, and the things he proclaim to be true and false, but also the man himself who’s to say, or more importantly, how are you yourself to know where and when he speaks truthfully or falsely about what you once believed to be true or false and now disbelieve to be so simply on the basis of what he says and because he says it. How are you to believe the truth or falsehood of those things that you never knew about simply because he introduces them to you and proclaims on an authority in himself which you’ve not verified are indeed true or false. I’ve heard this man say things, yank out context, mis-quote, mischaracterized, and falsely attribute and characterize quite a few passages and people of the Bible to warrant on my part suspicion of his integrity, his character, and his scholarship. And I see that same modus operandi in many of his followers. Or should I say sheep. Sort of like when you mischaracterized John Newton by sinking and hiding his later life of Christian conversion in his former life as a slave catcher and slave trader. That’s somewhat tantamount to characterizing Malcolm X not as a martyr for his people, but an ex-pimp, hustler, prisoner, and drug dealer, etc. The ravages of the consequences of slavery and jim crow and this perpetual racism is crushing so much so that it's very understandable that a knowledge of one’s self and history is crucial and light giving but a bought or revised or false history is to be someone we’re not. Question! Are African Americans with white in their bloodlines African or just the African part? If so, what about about white people with black in their bloodline? Are they of the kemet tribe, too?
