Aniruddha Iyengar well to be honest he just Is because on a way worse team he’s got the best record he’s got the best Defense on that list even now he’s like the second or third best defender in the league. He averages the most points out of all of them and the fact that he doesn’t have a great jump shot doesn’t mean you can’t be on the level of lebron even though lebron only shoots 35% from 3 and Davis shoots 32 or 33% from three isn’t really that good of an argument so in my opinion Giannis is actually the best player in the league so the fact that you and Stephen a cant see past the fact that he’s only shooting 30% from 3 on 5.5 attempts is kinda sad but back to back years of team improvement on offense and defence he’s really shown that he is the best but you can easily make a counter argument for lebron being the best just because it’s easier for him to creat his own shot but as it is now Giannis Antetokoumnpo is the best player in the league

Aniruddha Iyengar Aniruddha Iyengar he’s for sure better than an curry on defence and Giannis’s offence this year has been better than curry for every season except for the his mvp year when he put up 30.1 points but Giannis is super close with 29.6 without a good 3 unlike curry who shot 45% from 3 that year and add on the fact that Giannis is doing more with less everyone else has an either an mvp or all nba calibor player while Giannis just has a all star in Middleton. Plus don’t even say that Tatum is better than Giannis Tatum has the better overall team with two othe all star teammates and they don’t have as good of a record while there in the same conference. As well as Giannis having the better stats Tatum has a greater impact maybe for plus minus when he’s on and off the court because unlike Tatum when Giannis goes they usually have a good lead so when he gets off they’ve got a lead only to build on so he can rest. Also to me Luka is not as good as Giannis to be quite honest it’s not really close Luka’s Defense is so bad while Giannis is a top 3 defender in the league as well as the fact that luka is only shooting 32% from 3 because he doesn’t have good shot solection with the mags not even being a top 5 team in the west doesn’t help his case and if you want to say the west is harder it’s hard to believe that when 3 of the 5 best teams in the league are from the east so it’s not that big. So for me I don’t see why Giannis isn’t on that level but he won the mvp last year when all of them were playing except for lebron who was injured but still he outplayed Curry, Durant, Davis and Kawhi for the hole year except for Kawhi in the conference finals but he was inexperienced on having to play on that specific style with the way they were defending him. But with confidence I would say if the Giannis this year played in the conference finals last year the bucks would’ve won because no he has then confidence to shoot plus he’s just way better overall this year than last year

Anthony Davis is on there because of his free agency, and Kawhi and Curry on there because they are currently in the playoffs. If they held those guys to the same standard, that list would be in a different order, or 1 or 2 of them would not be on that list.

This guy Harden was voted the MVP 4 of the last 5 seasons including 8 this year by his peers. This guy averaged 36, 7 & 7 for the year on 44% shooting & 37% from 3 and 35, 7 & 5 on 46% shooting & 36% from 3 vs the Warriors last playoff series.
This guy has arguably the best year by an offensive player of all time breaking records. He broke Wilt's second record for most consecutive games wit 30+ points wit 32, has the most unassisted points in a season & has the most contested 3s in a season. This guy has paid his dues enough, its just annoying why he doesnt get his just due. How does the media get away wit dismissing Harden like this?
