Skip bringing up 2015-2016 EVERYTIME they talk about Steph is getting really really old. Making these segments almost unwatchable cuz skip says the same thing every time
yesterday in the segment about KD requesting a trade from Brooklyn, Skip brought up Curry in 2016. How tf does that have anything to do with KD requesting a trade in 2022🤦♂️. He even brought up LeBron and the Lakers missing the playoffs when he started losing the argument😂

isn't it ironic how skip always brings up curry's 2016 finals loss but magically forgets that Durant blew a 3-1 lead in worse fashion to an injured Steph curry and the warriors in the same year?
It would then all be Westbrook's fault according to the show. Shannon does not wanna counter that because he hates Westbrook too. Back then when Westbrook was not chasing triple-doubles, he was better and definitely more athletic than he is now. Also, WestBRICK had a higher 3-point shooting percentage than Durant in that 2016 series. By Skip's standard for Curry, Durant was ALL-TIME-BAD in that conference final.

If Steph's Legacy gains poor credit because he beat a Celtics team that "Didnt Deserve" to be in the Finals, then his entire stance on KD becomes absolutely irrelevant because the Nets got swept by a team that "Didnt Deserve" their Finals appearance.

I mean, to be fair he only played like 3 games with both his "best players", and both Kyrie and Harden only played like half the season for the Nets, at mostly different times, and for a good stretch when KD was injured in Kyrie's case.

Skip slandered LeBron every day this year for “putting his team together” (despite Rob Pelinka saying he takes responsibility for it), but when it comes to KD, he says “I DONT THINK HE HELPED PUT THE TEAM TOGETHER,” even though him & Kyrie are documented hand-picking their coach, recruiting Harden, then saying they don’t need a coach. People do anything to discredit players that they hate and excuse the ones they love.

As a KD fan it's hard to disagree with Shannon's take, all the players he has listed above him had deeper runs in the playoffs and the Nets were in the play in tournament, even though the Nets were the 1 seed when he went down with an injury but they still made the playoffs and he underperformed and underachieved, so this season I'd have him ahead of Bron not tied but either way he's at 5 for me aswell.

These were KDs numbers in the 2021 playoffs 26.3 points ,5.8 rebounds ,6.3 assist on .386 percent shooting, now lets look at Giannis's numbers 31.7 points, 14.2 rebounds, 6.8 assists on .495 shooting and since Skip tried to drag Steph down too lets look at his 2021 playoff stats 27.4 points, 5.2 rebounds ,5.9 assists on .459 shooting, on top of this Steph stepped it up in the Finals against the team that swept the "best player in the league " according to Skip, Steph had 31.2 points 6.0 rebounds 5.0 assists on .482 shooting

You should go back and check games 5 6 and 7 from kd when he blew the 3-1 to steph just the series before. It's crazy how he escapes blame from that series.

Skip is full of it. Durant is a spectacular player with great stats, but he doesn't elevate his teammates in a team sport. Teams win, not individuals. Steph is different. Even when his individual stats are not the best in any game, his play and gravity elevates his teams in a way that Durant just cannot.

It's pretty simple. KD is a better player individually but Steph is a greater player overall. Steph makes his teammates better. KD does not. Even on the same team the defense went to the more lethal player in Steph Curry. Steph got 2 rings without KD while KD has none without Steph. Idk why this is an argument anymore

An NBA player has to run, jump, defend and win one-on-one matchups, an NBA player needs elite level cardio.
An NFL QB can hurl an object from a pocket and rarely have to move.
QB is the most co-dependent position in sports, they can’t function without O-line protection, run-support, pass catchers and adequate play-calling.
A mediocre QB can claim a win from the sidelines as long as his defense and special teams make plays and score points.
