I had to pause the video to say that the take presented in this video explaining the difference in a purifying religion and a religion of wholeness has helped me take a huge step towards deconstructing that I have not been able to figure out on my own in 10 years. Thank you so much!
Love John Michael Greer! Such a sweet and humble guy and a very knowledgeable, creative guy who's a great conversationalist. You two have great chemistry.
Truly superb. I admit I am not a great fan of podcasts. I have been disappointed too many times. This however is a shining example of how to do one. To start, there is no time wasted on irrelevant chit-chat. Secondly, a host who actually listens and gives priority to the guest. Thank you. I have been into Druidry for around a decade and this is by far the best and the most interesting account that I have come across. I was so impressed by Mr Greer's mentions of Buddhism, another of my passions. His understanding of such issues was a breath of fresh air. His use of the term "A Path to Wholeness" and his description of it is also of great importance. The inclusion of such matters as the work of Carlos Castaneda and The Heroes Journey made this talk incredibly relevant to me on a personal level. Such writings and ideas were important to my development, I am glad that somebody of Mr Greer's calibre recognizes their value.
Thank you both! I just ordered two of Michael’s books.
