Yeah the penalty was a bit of a stretch. I guess you should have slowed down and given the place to james even though he braked late, cut the track, went off and came back on in front of you dangerously. 👍🤣👍 Apart from the stewards you 2 guys are great to watch racing together and should do it more often.
I mean once you do it for a while it becomes second nature. It's just like fiddling with the brake bias kid corner. At first it may be a distraction but you work up. I'm always talking and watching TH-cam while I'm racing
My girls are 9 and 5, both are beginning to share my passion for watching racing/simracing. I genuinely appreciate videos where the language stays appropriate for all ages.
The situation reminds me of the Canadian GP 2019 incident between Vettel and Hamilton, just with Jardier (=Hamilton) not backing out. Just like back then either steward decision would have been criticized I guess.
Great racing, I'd say it was mainly your fault james just as the rejoin was right infront of jardier yet it could have been avoided, still that's the racing we love to see!
This is SUCH a good video, i saw it come up the other day, and didn't get to watch it, and remembered it today, so glad i went back to watch...hahaha, great stuff!! And both of you have driven GT3 cars irl...Jardier laughing is so funny as a reaction.
I play any game better when I talk, I realised this when people come into my room and talk to me when I'm playing I suddenly play much better. I think it's because it calms me down and makes me play better
That was a great battle! I don't know how you're able to keep your focus and concentration up through these endurance races. I can just about get through a 50% race on F1 lol
Driving well, talking, responding to chat and entertaining his viewers all at the same time. It's no surprise his channel has grown the way it has. When he first started streaming, he would occasionally make a mistake and the chat would give him a bollocking for not concentrating on the racing enough! :D He soon got to grips with it though and makes it all look so easy now. :)
I don't know how these streamers talk the whole time they are driving so well. I'm holding my breath and have to remind myself to breath. That was fun to watch. Good racing to both of you.
Great race more like a sprint lol 😆. It very interesting how you both have different a approache you silent concentrating an Jared's able to chat away spos could be a deflection of pressure technique for him.
it took me a sec to realize you were still sliding, it did look like you were sliding to the right, didn't know if you were still gonna be rotating, iono..but it was dope to watch both back and forth.
Proper racing there! Bit of elbow grease is fine. Sometimes you just HAVE to commit if there's no other option and your move in the Bilstein-Curve was smart, taking advantage of a small detail (Jardier braking a tad earlier) is proper racecraft. The chicane accident is just a racing accident and I would say the blame shifts more towards you, but then again I think it doesn't matter afterwards as Jardier and you are on good terms anyway. Really sucks that the Stewards got involved in this and penalised YAS Heat, this was clearly a racing incident where no punishment should've been carried out to either. Oh well. Onto the next one!
Great fight, i dont think he could brake there without losing control but i kinda suck at ACC so my opinion doesn´t buy a wet popcorn. Great race, James!
The situation reminds me of the Canadian GP 2019 incident between Vettel and Hamilton, just with Jardier (=Hamilton) not backing out. Just like back then either steward decision would have been criticized I guess.
Hey I know the comment is a year ago. But you could look into joining leagues for Formula 1 games. clean races and easy to get into. For ACC you could try LFM.
If you talking about the throttle and brake overlays... James was using the replay file which does not have that yellow tint. Jardier was streaming live and during the actual race the yellow tint comes on when the ABS or TC is engaging.
I have been playing this on PS4 with Thrusmaster t300rs, my fastest lap time of Nurburgring is still 2 minutes but no faster..any help? Is it a limitation of PS4 version?
It's a hard one to judge. I think the key moment for the stewards is when Jardier goes full throttle because it looks like you've got traction. Not Jardiers "fault" in any way, I think anyone would've done the same thing.
I’m sorry to say that that contact was 100% your fault. If you can get his MoTeC data file you will see that on the G-G traction circle he didn’t have enough longitudinal traction “reserve” to slow in negative G to not hit you. Yes I use MoTeC i2 in real life.
Actually take a look at your own MoTeC data for that reentry looking at longitudinal G, wheel speeds, and wheel slip percentage. I bet you find a lot of slippage which the driver behind didn’t anticipate because you appeared to have control of the car. In the end, I anticipate you will find that you were the cause.
Could he have avoided it, maybe. But to be fair, you made the mistake and cut the track so maybe it was Karma. But it was good racing, things like that can happen and it's okay when you now it wasn't intentionally.
I'd say it's 70/30 your fault, yours for the reasons you explained and 40 on Jards because he had the gas floored basically until he was in you. There was a solid second of time where you were already back on the track and would clearly be slower, so he should have let off the gas at least or tried to go right
Stewards made the wrong decision there I think, you made an error under pressure and rejoined the track leaving Jardier with unavoidable contact, I would deem it a racing incident on last lap and no penalty to either driver
Different drivers have different personalities. That's what makes this battles so beautiful. He fought and he lost. (He won because of poor stewarding. Lol!)
Quite sure braking earlier would have resulted in a punt by Jardier with all that bump drafting even during the braking zone. Either way, awesome battle. A bit sad to see he ended up getting a position penalty for that.
Guys I need you to help deciding, I have two choices, rfactor 1 and LFS, Which is better? Kindly help! I'm into single player races , I'm looking forward to best physics model , that's my only concern, I got g27 wheel and pedals, I'm not in position to buy PC yet for acc/iracing, gonna take more than a year to collect money....pls reply 🙏🙏🙏
Jardier, can shake his head & pretend to be sorrowful all he wants. That was a cynical rear end and payback for the overtake. Glad stewards saw through the act and he was demoted.
Jardier will give a full TED talk while driving through the field to win with 30 kg success ballast.
Honestly that guy is insane. He doesn't lose a single tenth while taking none stop..
One of the best acc streamers. A welcoming positive guy
@@mzie9110 he can read his comments and still hit his apexs and do like alien laps. It’s insane to me.
Proper Hard esport racing! :)
That was a great battle with you and James. Amazing defending.

Dangerous.. in a sim 🤣
Its crazy how much Jardier can talk while driving and streaming. I am kind of not even answering in discord while racing :D

Bruh, I can't even look at timer...! I just race
@Crunch Bar 😂😂😂😂 ROFL.....
Something you get used to.
I can write on discord while racing because I had to do it around a 12h of Bathurst
My girls are 9 and 5, both are beginning to share my passion for watching racing/simracing. I genuinely appreciate videos where the language stays appropriate for all ages.
I don't understand how the 'stewards' can deem its his fault if you rejoin the track unsafely... need some new stewards there
Just like that "racing incident" in Barcelona last weekend...
Guess maybe jardier could've moved to the inside to avoid contact but yeah it's a racing incident at best, or James fault
The situation reminds me of the Canadian GP 2019 incident between Vettel and Hamilton, just with Jardier (=Hamilton) not backing out. Just like back then either steward decision would have been criticized I guess.
He's a true entertainer! All while racing in a high level and maintaining consistency. Top class bloke.
I was watching this live and I was biting my nails all the time. Great racing!
Great racing, I'd say it was mainly your fault james just as the rejoin was right infront of jardier yet it could have been avoided, still that's the racing we love to see!
You don't know what you are talking about...it was a perfectly acceptable rejoin while in front.
Agreed. Jardier too close to avoid the touch. As far as Jardier being able to avoid, no one knows until you try it.
This is SUCH a good video, i saw it come up the other day, and didn't get to watch it, and remembered it today, so glad i went back to watch...hahaha, great stuff!! And both of you have driven GT3 cars irl...Jardier laughing is so funny as a reaction.

Nice battle...he's a master at defending and keeping good pace while doing it...all the while carrying on full conversations with chat lol
Now that you say it.. the way he kinda of pauses and then shouts noooo.. he was fully aware the contact was coming
One of the battles i have enjoyed. Was routing for him to get the poll but was routing for the battle to continue much longer.

Love watching some good hard racing
2:02 that’s a clip 😂 nice bro
I don't know how these streamers talk the whole time they are driving so well. I'm holding my breath and have to remind myself to breath. That was fun to watch. Good racing to both of you.
Awesome...love it when drivers sim race like you would race in real life , for me thats the pinnacle of sim racing.
Great race more like a sprint lol 😆. It very interesting how you both have different a approache you silent concentrating an Jared's able to chat away spos could be a deflection of pressure technique for him.
If anyone here knows Starcraft, Jardier is the sim racing equivalent of WhiteRa. Can't possibly be enemies with the guy.

Oh I remember this one, probably the best fight I've seen live yet :)
The situation reminds me of the Canadian GP 2019 incident between Vettel and Hamilton, just with Jardier (=Hamilton) not backing out. Just like back then either steward decision would have been criticized I guess.
Please recruit this guy. He deserves to be in an SRO league
What a fight, two experienced drivers makes really hard to overtake
Great racing. About the blame game: 75% Jaames / 25% Jardier is a good and fair assessment. No reason for penalties, though. Race Incident.
That's what Jardier was hoping to achieve with the stream acting. It's exactly why he did it.
6 hours to spin in the last lap
This was enjoyable to watch!I wish these kind of battles were possible in F1 public lobbies
Hey I know the comment is a year ago. But you could look into joining leagues for Formula 1 games. clean races and easy to get into. For ACC you could try LFM.
They gave Jardier a penalty for that? What the fuck. Racing incident at worst. Unsafe rejoin at worst imo. Good video
Exactly 💯
Man i look up to you as an upcoming sim racer
Ughhh that ending! I've done that so many times lol
Jardier the king.
This is some hard racing
Great Battle! Great Video!
The stewards judged that as Jardier's fault? WHAT?

It's racing. This happens
It's such a shame that there was contact in the end 💔. But it was an amazing race between you guys ❤
Can anyone explain to me, why James did not get a penalty for cutting the last turn?
Great racing. Wish I was this good :(
I know it's already said many times but jardier ability to talk and drive fast, srsly wtf
Please can you do review on the mclaren rim?
Wow that’s bs the stewards deemed it his fault that you missed your braking point
How do you remove the yellow tint in acc? We can see the yellow in the excerpts of Jardier's stream but not yours.
If you talking about the throttle and brake overlays... James was using the replay file which does not have that yellow tint. Jardier was streaming live and during the actual race the yellow tint comes on when the ABS or TC is engaging.
I would like to know that too. Maybe Reshade?
There’s no auto steering or auto braking for first time player’s who struggled
dam such a depressing end =(
what's your steering hweel?
Such a shame you made contact..😩

That was not on Jardier

Is he the same guy that raced in the Squad Sprint races?? Hes Russian or something?
Stewards made the wrong decision there I think, you made an error under pressure and rejoined the track leaving Jardier with unavoidable contact, I would deem it a racing incident on last lap and no penalty to either driver
I thought you acted poorly and showed so little respect for other drivers in those moves that should make you think about
Different drivers have different personalities. That's what makes this battles so beautiful. He fought and he lost. (He won because of poor stewarding. Lol!)
He could have lift tho

LFS has more active leagues every week, rf1 players moved on to Rf2 and rf1 is dead now, so go play LFS
Racing incident. Harsh to award any penalty on that one.
Jardier, can shake his head & pretend to be sorrowful all he wants. That was a cynical rear end and payback for the overtake. Glad stewards saw through the act and he was demoted.
