I’ve been in a lot of races with max and I think I’ve seen him crash coming through the pack once… If anything he crashes a lot less than most of the 10k drivers on smurfs moving through the pack.
In terms of the incident itself, I don’t see how it was your fault in any way. It was a dumb, overly aggressive move on Max’s part. However, from a racecraft perspective, when a driver is gaining that much time on you and clearly has a sense of entitlement and aggression (the early flashing lights, sticking the nose into places that typically aren’t passing zones), it is VERY rarely any benefit to battle those guys. Let them go along and wreck the people up ahead instead. Don’t try to fight with them, unless it’s right at the end of a race.

Max chose a really bad place to overtake, normally you use that section to set an overtake for the straight, a slight nudge to your right rear ( accidental or not doesn't matter ) but then he decides to take a line, while washing out a bit that will cut across your nose ..100% on Max... Iam starting to wonder if the ' Impressive ' message was a veiled compliment, you held your nerve and ground and survived... sort of that nod WW1 pilots gave each other after a Dogfight... who knows?... but cant wait to see whether its mentioned on F1 sites during this down time....

Max made a realistic move, but had only 95% of the pass done and wanted the racing line but spun himself. Move only would have worked if you were scared of it being Max and backed out and panic hit the brake on corner exit. I think he didn't expect you to legit be trying to race him and I think his strat was to force you into a braking moment to slow your exit so you wouldn't be able to fight him at the next corner and got a little risky with it.
Max obviously tried to block-pass you there so he wouldn't be in any danger of being attacked or re-overtaken on the Hunaudieres/Mulsanne-straight, but like you said, he did turn in on you when you where still there, expecting you to just give way. Yes he was way quicker and there was no real point fighting him, but streamer or not, who doesn't want to tell that he raced a 3-time F1 world champ? I think it's either 50/50, or slightly more on him. Max should know that sometimes people want to have a bit of a fight with him when he shows up online.

There was no contact with Max's car from you. It looks like he looses it from the 1st movement which by the laws of physics the car would of spin right which in fact the backend snapped right which allowed the car to stay out of the barrier on the right and across the corner

To be honest this kind of upsets me when I'm in that position. Closing fast, every lap. Lots of laps left and still fought hard for the position as if they were going to hold me off for the next several laps. When someone is clearly faster, just make the pass easy. Get it done and move on with life back to fighting for attainable positions. Especially fighting an alien with several laps to go. Just doesn't make sense. Last lap? Absolutely. Last corner? No question. But seriously race him that hard in this scenario doesn't make sense. My 2 cents which aren't worth anything and I still sub and watch all your content and love doing so. This one incident I can't get on board with though. :)

Max wrecked Max! Its no surprise! F1 racing just isn't like it used to be! Drivers used to fight for position constantly. Today its all about what tire strategy and when you pit! Its completely different with GT3 racing as the cars are almost equal.. It can be very difficult to pass and you must be willing to give someone room. Max gave you zero room! He cut right Infront of you when his line was compromised.. I dont see how you could have avoided making contact. I do see how Max could have given more room vs trying to close the door when that close! If this was a real life GT3 race this would go down as a racing incident.. No penalty!
