**Hybrid deployment tips here** 1) Battery deployment doesn't matter too much in such a short race. The way hybrid works in Hypercar is very different from F1 : in F1, it "boosts" a car with additionnal power, while in Hypercar, your car is capped to ~500Kw (depending on BoP) regardless of how much hybrid deployment you use. But when you use for example 200Kw hybrid deployment, it means the combustion engine only has to output 300Kw, which means saving fuel. And since in Hypercar your stint lenght is determined by total energy usage ("virtual energy", comprising both fuel and hybrid), managing well your hybrid deployment enables you to do your max stint lenght with less fuel, so a lighter car. 2) Another benefit of hybrid deployment, but this time only relevant to the LMH sub-class of Hypercars (Toyota, Peugeot, Ferrari, Isotta) is that those cars have their hybrid deployment on the front wheels, turning them essentially into 4WD cars over a certain speed (150kph for the wingless Peugeot, 190kph for all the others). So the more hybrid you deploy, the more you split the torque towards the front, which may help in the wet. Note that this doesn't work with the LMDh sub-class (Porsche, Cadillac, BMW, Lamborghini and Alpine), as their hybrid only works on the rear wheels (and is capped at 50Kw anyway, but it will deploy at any speed tho). 3) Goes without saying, on the LMH sub-class, don't let the battery reach 100% or you'll lose front brakes at the next corner since you'll have no energy recovery braking. You'd be surprised to see how much this happens in the first lap of a race, so try to drain the battery a bit before T1 ! 4) The LMDh sub-class also has its own battery toxic trait. Don't let the battery reach 0% when coming to the pits or the car won't be able to start again. 5) Changing the energy regen setting, as well as the brake migration setting, may sometimes help when locking the front tires on LMHs, and rears on LMDhs. have fun racing Hypercars, a very challenging category !
so one question, wouldnt it be beneficial to run the hybrid deploy on max all the time to minimize fuel weight? what is the drawback to using all the hybrid deploy every lap
@@utkarshchaurasia2233 maybe strain on hybrid system (reliability)?
2 หลายเดือนก่อน +12
@@utkarshchaurasia2233 Contrary to F1, you're not limited in hybrid deploy per lap, the total energy usage is over a whole stint. But at 200Kw deploy (or 50Kw on an LMDh), you're depleting the battery was faster than it can recharge. 1) losing the 4WD advantage out of the corners (for an LMH). 2) the acceleration phase is when you need most energy, and losing electric power in the midst of it implies you'll often be at 500Kw ICE. Not an ideal situation since it's less efficient than an electric motor. Better have a little assist all the way than a few seconds of full power and then nothing. 3) it's not clear if the failures are modelled yet but the game has a battery temperature variable. You should keep your battery within 10%-90% to manage energy efficiently. Keep also an eye on the purple leds on the dash, they indicate when you should lift and coast to get to the "target stint" you've defined on your MFD (for example, if it's "target +5", the leds will direct you to save enough energy to prolong your stint by 5 laps.

that's TinyPedals
idk if you know yet or not, but the motor map in LMU works as in real life where it doesnt add performance but helps with fuel effieciency, and i think that if you have a full battery you get horrible braking performance
These cars are setup for energy regen on the front, if the battery is full it can't regen and then you lock up :)
@@Ked_gaming yes thank you
Dude aren't you suppose to be on track? Or is that tomorrow and you probably had this video on a release timer. Lol. Good luck coach!

Hello
Hello
This game is total idiotism! I have tested it for 2 month. I tried the worst scenario online and they gave me ban for 30 days. So I bought the game, i lost funcionality and went for 30 days to play asseto corsa! What a bunch of idiots. I liked it from beginiing, but they dont have people online enough. They will never have if they act like idiots! In gt7 if you do wrong you lose all ratings and start from bottom. This is fear enough. These guys giving ban to players if they do too many crashes. I would like to have my money back for game and update, but i guess that would never happen, cose they are bums!

Too difficult for the English. Just like everything.
Why do people drive with all that CRAP on the screen? Really? Shouldn't you be concentrating on the track?
MAp your rotaries James, fidling in the MFA is so much harder.
Yeah will have to definitely

Have you tried using yellow lens glasses for night driving?
They help with my headaches
Never really got on with gaming glasses
Yeah LMU looks fun and I want to join the bandwagon but the VR support is still meh 🫤 so I continue to leave it aside although i bought the game already. Nice sending on LeMans in the chicane. Certified balls of steel ;)
VR will improve in next week big patch
Yeah hopefully the VR support improves, I’m sure it will. They seem to be developing the game nicely.
