- Genshin Impact version 4.3 has dropped a new abyss 12 and this one is quite dangerous with the new Abyss enemy, the Hydro Tulpa. I showcase a couple of 4 star only teams that can reasonably 9 star this abyss 12 and provide some advice for what other teams you can use.

Yeah overloaded is heavy atk. Had fun on 2nd chamber with Yanfei-Beidou, lots of overloaded explosion 🤣 and Yanfei CA also counts as heavy atk.

That's cute. Genshin v1 has the cold status on Floor 12. If you don't have Zhongli or Diona you're fvcked. And don't get me started with the low tide high tide.
I actually enjoyed the High and Low tide because it required more planning. Well we didn't have much characters there that don't rely on bursts as we do now.

I rather fight the Robot Chicken than the Desert Worm and the Chasm Snake. At least the Robot Chicken isn't as annoying to deal with and doesn't take my time by stalling so much underground.

Yep overloaded counts as heavy attack. I remember using this interaction with Keqing+Xiangling back in 1.1 to break geo shields because I had no geo and no claymore characters built
I thought my ciang ling fischl team was bugged but it was just the overload reaction lol

@@dukeyambao1118that's what I used too, but it was a hyper-burgeon variation with Dehya. Basically, it's Nahida / Xingqiu / Full EM Sacrificial GS Dehya / Kuki. Clean run with no retries
4 E's from Dehya w Kuki E melts these Geo shields but you can also just use Zhongli coz he can clear shields easily with his E. I have him on the other side of the abyss with Navia tho so I couldn't use him here

Also, fun fact: Wriothesley's CA's are cosidered heavy attacks.
(Once CA'ed with him on an ore and was surprised to see he broke it)
Everyone says that this one was easy Abyss, but I was struggling to get the last star since that Hydro Tulpa is very annoyingly hard to kill if you depend on Hydro to do DPS. I finally manage to do so with Navia, Bennett, Xiangling, Zhongli and Nilou Bloom team on the other side.
Actually i didn't struggle with tulpa but I did struggle with thundering manifestation because it keeps getting away

one thing that really surprised me in this abyss is that geo slime armor is more solid than lawachurl armor against hyperbloom

It's the mechanics of shields. Some give dmg absorption while some of shields reduce dmg taken (lavachurls, fatui big boys for example)
As long as you have a claymore user/any way to break those shields you should be fine. If you don't have freminet built (and 99% of people don't), chongyun will bring better results.

I would appreciate more of guide on what works best for each chamber rather than making one team comp that relies on characters i don't have. The only way for me to do this abyss is making a team to best fight each chamber individually and get the stars separately rather than all in one shot.

A good thing to note about the Thunder Manifestation is if you constantly stay in hugging distance from the start, it won't teleport away. So try to push your character into it as much as you can until it does!
That's not true at all, it's the other way around actually. When using ranged characters it normally doesn't teleport
That's strange, when I had an all melee team I noticed it didn't run, but when I had a mostly ranged team it did run even though i was hugging it@@schopenhauer5427
That worked for me this time with Alhaitham, didn't even teleport once before it died.
You want to stay right next to it when it does the spinning move, that way it will end up behind you instead of spinning for the entire arena and then teleporting to the center
I used nilou bloom team in second half and it made this spiral so easy that everytime I had a whole minute left.. nilou bloom users gonna enjoy this one💯
I also used nilou team in second half and dehya team on 1st half it was too easy

First time I've ever seen an enemy ACTUALLY one shot a player. It's always two or three attacks and people like to exaggerate things, but this time it is indeed a one shot. If you don't dodge, you die, period.
@@Sergmanny46 Legend Liam one shots my squishier characters with his crazed bomb throwings, even when I used a fridge team with Bloom and Cryo it took me a few tries to dodge everything and rack up damage
The Hydro Tulpa one shots my Nahida through Zhongli's shield which is insane (the shield was still intact).
2x vape reaction hurts
It's funny that I went with Neuvillette, Dehya, Nahida, Yae on first half forgetting there was the hydro boss and Nahida/Yae had to do all the damage while on second half Noelle, Yelan and Furina completely destroyed everything.
For the rock slime geo shields I believe everything that’s an explosion also counts as a heavy attack, such as Klee’s basic attack and possibly even burgeons.

this is the reality of 4 star abyss clears, these are hyperinvestment and a generic f2p player will not be able to clear with these teams without equal investment
Also a shoutout to the " very mediocre Xingqiu build" with 50/150ish crit stats while still having almost 300% er as well too.
@@winstondao3785 thats all videos on this channel, my man. He probably doesn't comprehend how broken his artifacts are, and how it skewers his views of the performance of new characters. Seriously, with artifacts like these, even Xinyan and Chongyun can 36 star the abyss and make you think they're good characters.
So here's how you should understand what he says in his videos: "broken" means "good", "good" means "average", "average" means "bad" and "bad" means "unusable". So when he says "this character/team is okay, you can clear the abyss with it, but you might struggle a bit" you should hear "this character/team is actually awful and you wont clear the abyss with it unless you hyperinvest in god tier artifacts like I did".
I mean, most of the dmg comes from hyperbloom shinobu full em so collei dmg is kinda irrevelant, u just need enough ER for each rotation

not quite F2P friendly but here's my run this abyss:
Top half: Wanderer, Faruzan, Bennett, Zhongli
Bottom half: Kaveh, Nahida, Furina, Kuki Shinobu
-47.5k C3 Shieldbot Zhongli, shield didn't break at all but might be due to the const
-C6 Faruzan, C5 Bennett
-Kaveh is actually a peak driver for Hyperbloom this abyss due to being able to break geo shields as a claymore and, paired with Kuki's and his own healing, being effective at tanking dmg, so even substats like healing bonus, HP and DEF works for a quick build for him
-2nd team is not only a Hyperbloom, but also works to heighten Kaveh's personal dmg; he is C5 using Marecchause and Wolf's Gravestone (153 Crit Dmg, 400EM).
-C3 Kuki has 978EM, not using Flower of Paradise Lost
-Nahida is using Prototype Amber with an otherwise regular build (I am not even sure if it's necessary to get all Fanfare stacks but I didn't bother to check...)
I have Yelan and Alhaitham and I use them in my most optimal Hyperbloom, but made it a little challenge to use the Kaveh team instead. Last cycle I had to do many retries to finally 36* with it successfully, but on this one it's much easier and I got it on the first try
Fcking amazing video i want to clear the abyss but i seem to be FOCUSED ON GETTING 5 STARS CHARACTERS i hope well see more teams like these we could copy since weapons are 4 stars and means in everyone's means , i love this concept i hope ill make my own team in time ❤
It's cool to see a video of some free to play teams! Especially with the double-geo which I wasn't expecting.
Here's the teams I used:
First half: Nahida hyperbloom (Nahida, yelan, kuki shinobu, fischl)
Second half: Lyney hypercarry (Lyney, Bennet, Kazuha, Zhongli)
For me this abyss was pretty easy but now is also the time where my account is more invested than it ever has been. Also the PMA was REALLY fast to clear on side 1 which let me kill the lightning manifestation very slowly. That was pretty important since I couldn't melee with bennet or lyney's skill to get particles for bennet's burst, and I couldn't swirl pyro with kazuha, or be close enough to get zhongli's resistance decrease most of the time haha. I spent a lot of time just pinging the boss with lyney's charged attacks.
The rest of the abyss went super smoothly though. Still a fun little time!
This is very interesting..! I haven't done the abyss just yet but I'm thinking of using 2 hyperbloom teams xd one with kuki as the hyperbloom-er and one with raiden
personally i struggled against the hydro tulpa because I went in with dps Nilou xD I had Nilou Mona Benny and Xiangling, and didn't wanna swap teams so... that was fun xD (I didn't even realize that bennys hydro application was the reason i got one shot the whole time)
Other than that rly liking this abyss... PMA first chamber firs half is such a welcome change, it's been so nice to just test out single target dps of all sorts of teams that you haven't rly had the opportunity to try before because too many specific enemies in abyss
Since I got Baizhu I unlocked one of the strongest team I have. Kazuha Raiden Yae Baizhu. They only affraid of Electro immue mobs and Cryo shield every other mobs is not a big deal. And damn my Navia hit the thunder boss floor 12 room 1 hard af 😂

the element requirement might lock you out of some teams, but not as bad as the pyro lectors and their refusal to be grouped up
There's an easy trick to that. Go to a corner and they'll follow you.

@@Sergmanny46 A round room has no corners ;) But yeah, if you go to the wall at a point where you and the two lectors form a line, then further lector will move up to the middle one, and so, boom, grouped.

Actual healing mode furina use case. Even at 30k hp and 1k def, The boss cant entirely one shot you on that big smack with bennet ticks and furina ticks(hp hp crit build). Then again if your 20k hp, heavily recommend you dodge the big smack well especially when your char has lower def.
The dps ceiling seems to have been lowered. I was running Navia team second half and nilou bloom on first half and could still clear even though last boss is hydro resistant and some enemies on second half were geo resistant. Also my Navia team was bennet xl and Noelle so noelle wasn’t doing much besides geo res so really was clearing some chambers with only 2 or 3 of my characters actually providing dps.

This new spiral abyss looks alright i use tighnari as main on first half and ayaka on second half
I know that i have to focus on rebuilding my units when a single rock from ning's burst does almost as much damage as my fully set up raiden shogun

im probably just gonna bust out the c3 r1 hyper riden in the first half (cant wait to be oneshotted by the Tulpa) and then a decent furina mono hydro team in the second half
all 4star/F2P floor 12 9* clear
1st half: Kuki, Fischl, Dendro MC, Xingqiu (while XQ doesn't deal damage in the last chamber, his damage reduction is still a really good QoL there)
2nd half: Bennett, Heizou, Xiangling, Chongyun (with the latest free 4 star claymore, chongyun can actually have decent ER% without sacrificing too much damage, definitely a win for chongyun mains since he will also instantly get rid of the geo/electro shields)
also 9-star it 2nd try, dendro MC died first run since i didn't use XQ's rainsword buff. its also a bit scary for kuki without it
I plan to use Lyney Navia quickswap DPS on first half and Klee Burgeon on the second half!!!

This was my first abyss since playing the game where I got 36 stars!!! I’ve been playing for 3 years but I have skill issues xd. I’m very proud and happy but ig that means I just have to get good.
My teams were the following:
C5 Benny, C6 Xiangling, C2 Gorou, C2 Itto w/ sig weapon
C6 Beidou, C0 Nahida w/ sig weapon, C1 Furina w/ sig weapon, C6 Yaoyao
Me watching this even though I did the abyss right when it came out in new years. I used sukokomon for first half and wanderer, venti, benny, and faru.
Well it seems Neuvillette solo era still hasn't come to an end.. Imma be soloing that second half with him.. xD

after clearing it for the first time, I decided to give it a try with some f2p teams, the one I used were: for the first half fischl, xiangling, bennett and geo traveler; the other half nahida c0 (can be swapped with any other dendro unit), thoma, xingqiu and diona.
The builds were:
1st: stringless fischl with 4 golden troupe, the catch xiangling with 4 emblem, 4 noblesse bennett (healer build) with high base atk sword (the alley flash in my case), geo traveler 4 Petra (built for dmg) with favonius.
2nd: nahida with mappa mare and 4 deepwood, thoma 4 gilded with dragons bane (kitain is preferable), xingqiu sac with 4 emblem, diona 4 instructor with favonius.
There's something important you need keep in mind, while you may want to have xiangling at lv 90, to increase overload dmg in the last chamber. For the second half thoma lv 90 is mandatory, as the difference between lv 80→90 is 33%, this is due to it being a trasformative reaction, and those scale on atk.
I decided to share this information with you as my experience and times with said teams where better than even the ones I saw in the video, and if I managed to do so on mobile, you shouldn't have many problems. Good luck y'all.

Not 2 bad , did the first 2 floors on 12 with 3 stars, then switched to a hyperbloom team without a hydro character for the tulpa on floor 3 and did a rerun. Ez clap

since hyperbloom released,thunder mani became easier for me cuz i lacked skill issue with melee characters with that randomly teleporting thunder bird
bloom exploding damage could shred the geo slime shield so i find using nilou clear second half super fast.

Another enxiety inducing abyss
This abyss is not dangerous, it is MORE dangerous than the previous abyss, true. It seemed harder for me because I had to change my teams for Floor 12, and it turned out that I just had to swap my triple hydro and Hyperbloom teams from the previous abyss. Furina/Yelan/Kokomi/Kazuha and Nahida/Xingqiu/Kuki/Alhaitham are marvelous.
First time I see Geo slime in spirall abyss 💀
First team I used Yoimiya Zhongli Fischl and Yun Jin.
Second team I used Nahida, Nilou, Kokomi and Mona.

Ah man I was about to say I wasn't a fan of the Tulpa when I was farming Furina mats, but at least it's not as awful as the Thunder Manifestation ... well guess what that bloody thing is here too.
Still looks pretty easy overall, but with 2 infused bosses my Abyss-ly clear-with-all-my-teams-avoiding-duplicate-teams endeavour is going to run into some issues again. hmmm
9:20 acutally if you swirl guoba (with sucrose) you can shred its pryo res with vv set

for this abyss I went with navia bennett xiangling and zhongli on the top half and hu tao double vape with kazuha in the second half. Navia completely obliterated the top half (and now I have my highest crit dmg of 350k with a not so optimal build on her (Man I love navia's damage and playstyle))
this abyss was easier than the last one where you really had to keep an eye on the enemies and their grouping
Literally same team for me :) and also my highest crit is 403k navia is so fun
i did a 400k+ with my copium lvl 80 navia that i got today using 2 petra 2 golden troupe. she is super fun and surprisingly strong. it was worth it scraping my entire world for loose primogen.

This is Navias abyss. 300k nukes 😲😲😲 on C0/Wolf Gravestone. I went mono Geo Side one and Wet Rock Navia side two. Its been a long long long time ive gone Geo both sides and it felt great. I then went mono Pyro Leney side and Ayato Hyper bloom side two with great success.
Nice, I was hitting 450k nukes with C0/R5 Serpent Spine.

@@magiclover9346 Gotcha haha. You’re also kind of forced to pair ZL with her to maintain the stacks but it works well since ZL can provide a an atk buff + shred. After 3 years, I still don’t have a gravestone on my account, let alone any 5 star claymore.

@@Kar76060 Yeah lucky I guess. Mine came from the standard banner. Though my favourite current Navia team is wet rock. Albedo, Furina, Kokomi and Navia. Navia always has all her shells in this team and I don't over cap on attack like you can in Bennet teams. That way I can also go Mono Geo with (Itto, Zl, Gorou and flex on the other side) or any other DPS that wants stagger resistance.

Pyro catalysts CAs are also considered heavy attacks btw
klee's normals are heavy, doesn't even need to be charged.
I used Navia on second half because she's the only one who can kill the electro oceanid fast enough for me to 36* the abyss🤣
I used Navia on 2nd Floor because despite playing the game for 2 years I thought you are meant to use Geo against Geo enemies. Fortunately Xiangling was in the team so I still got 36*
@SeenE-kg9nj actually, geo shields are weak to geo dmg so it's not completely wrong

@@MrGoodra17 I also only realised they were immune after watching this video. When I was playing, I just killed them (but the timer was much closer to running out than usual)
My team for this abyss:
First half: Hu tao (C0, R1 Homa), Xingqui C6, Yelan C0 and Zhongli C0
Second half: Navia C0, Xiangling C6, Bennett C6 (R1 Misplinter jeje) and Sucrose C6.
This abyss was much easier than the last one. I was able to 12-3 for the first time even without properly built characters and teams.
My teams: 1. Navia(c0), Furina(c1), Baizhu(c0), Fischl(c0)
2. Wriothesley(c1), Xingqiu(c0), Xiangling(c6), Bennett(c0)

well i 36 star it with raging C6 Noelle, even the thunder bird doesn't take me long... she's really cracked after furina come especially with her C2.

My c0 Navia completely carried me even tho Bennett died due to the hydro tulpa lol. Got 36 star for the FIRST TIME EVER.
I am free to play and i didnt experience difficult abyss all year long. People need to learn the mechanics and have two decent teams. I dont underatand what do people find challenging honestly.
