Adding so many high weight/poise enemies into the abyss did a number on him for sure. Also he's the only Archon without a continuous elemental applicating off field skill ability. I don't know how good anemo off field on skill would be but it'd be nice to have, maybe something like a weaker Faruzan burst.

venti was literally the reason why they couldn't put more mobs in floor 12 tbh. back in the day abyss had way too many mobs and if you had venti he was basically a cheat code against them. nowadays enemies have more weight and at least half of the chambers are dedicated to bosses. a lot of players still use venti against early abyss floors because he makes clearing it with one burst faster. i love kazuha (have him at c2r1) but tbh i mostly use him exclusively in floor 12 (not including overworld) when it comes to clearing abyss. anything that gets sucked into venti's black hole doesn't stand a chance and more often than not i just need one venti burst every chamber to clear floors 9-11
honestly the enemies in abyss are made to nerf him because he was too OP in terms of crowd control in the early versions of the game. even now, his crowd control is unparalleled when it works.

honestly i feel like fischl deserves the spot for electro support. kuki is really only amazing in hb, while fischl is great in any team that wants electro. she also has a ton of electro app, with oz, and her a4 passive. but i guess i'm biased cause i consider fischl to be the best electro character in the game
Hyperbloom is a powercreep to the base damage of elemental reaction designed for people who started up late in genshin impact to catch up with those who played for 3+ years. And since the only 2 possible electro trigger for hyperbloom team are EM Raiden (what a waste of a Raiden if you use her that way) or Kuki, that makes Kuki overpowered. I tried to use Fischl for HB and it does not work. So maybe Fischl is the best for non HB team, but since HB team is the most overpowered team for free to play players, it is inevitable that Kuki is the most OP support in the element. At top whale level, the flat rate of HB damage cannot catch up to the power of C6R5 five stars, so maybe then Fischl is more dominant.

8:22 I 100% agree cryo has been neglected, yet cryo still competes well for spiral abyss. I didn't realize we had 0 cryo characters for 3.0!
As someone who doesn't own Shenhe, I use Ayaka and Ganyu on the same team with 2 flex spots, one feeding particles into the other depending on which needs to be "main dps".
3.x ver had at least one cryo character, a 4 star named Layla. It's actually geo, throughout the entire 3.x version, no geo unit was released.

It’s so funny how xiangling compete in the category, but honeslty she’s so insane her ult dmg strike up so high
When they release a pyro sub dps character it's over. Right now only Xiangling fits that category and that, alongside her personal damage, is what makes her op and competitive with other 5 stars
@@ruialves527 Lol, no. Her numbers are what make her op. Just releasing another Pyro sub-dps won't do, you'll need them to be stronger than our snapshotting, no ICD chef herself.

i think wriothesley is the best cryo dps. ayaka is shit outside freeze and the abyss enemies have high cryo resistance. wriothesley on the other hand, have different team option. he can slot xiangling and nahida while still doing tons of damage by himself.

rosaria can be a physical supp as well, she gives crit rate and decrease the physical res of the enemies, if that counts as a supp capability
For cryo in terms of flexibilty i think ill have to go for wrio. Like ayato before neuv he can work with a lot of teams. He works well with melt and freeze especially with shenhe and nahida burnmelt however the only concern is the melt team. There isnt anyone out there who can consistently apply pyro other than xiangling. Burnmelt works but he loses out on a lot of his potential dmg without shenhe and kazuha synergies. Hopefully the pyro archon can fix that or any other off field pyro units.
For freeze, I still think Ayaka is much better because of her super frontloaded burst damage & with the right setups, enemies will get deleted. Shenhe is a glorified cryo support at c0. Whales forget this because they have her at c6 but she is literally gonna only buff 7 of Rizzley's normal attacks whereas with Ayaka, you can buff 10 ticks of her burst which is insane damage in a very short window of time which is usually the make or break game for abyss.
@@biscy03It's not incredibly big, but a little reminder that Shenhe's hold skill also buffs normal and charged attacks by the duration of the buff and not just the 7 stacks xd

Hydro is indeed the most broken element, and Furina and Neuvillette are poster children of brokenness. I agree with all your placements, but I noticed there's not really a honorable mention for cryo support. I guess it's hard to choose just one since none of them truly stand out. My pick would probably be Diona, especially at c6. Healing, shielding and EM boost is a pretty decent support profile. She's also amazing in co-op at c2+!

I actually think Nilou should be honorable mention for dendro support and Shenhe for physical support
I think C6 rosaria is better than shenhe for physical. She reduces physical defences and increases crit rate based on hers, which synergyses well with favonious lance and, in turn, makes her better at generating energy.

To be fair, Diona should get an honorable mention. At c6 she buffs em by 200, provides a shield, heals and gives a small movement speed buff. With Favonious she's basically an insane battery to the team

Since "Elemental Resonance" exists, it's good to have two playable characters of each element anyways. ^^
Before Navia release I even mostly had teams of 4 different elements cause I thought more was better, but since Navia my favorite team is double geo double hydro with Zhongli, Barbara and Yelan.

Cryo is just an annoying element to use overall, cryo resonance and blizzard strayer both need for cryo to be applied to the enemy, but it seems to have terrible application esp if ur tryna do any reactions
Wrio is great at applying Cryo...and he doesn't really even need another Cryo character in the team, he's fairly self sustaining.
I mean that's kinda why you don't use cryo reso or 4 blizzard for any of the cryo dps unless its freeze.

IMO it's only a problem on enemies with their own elemental aura, and only really for freeze/cryo dependent crit chance.

I play mono cryo: Ganyu/Zhongli/Kazuha/Shenhe. Don't really experience any of those issues.
Well Fischl deserves a bit more than an honorable mention, particularly with Golden Troupe. I use her with Keqing and Nahida and the dmg is simply insane.
Also Xingqiu. Furina and Neuvillete are obviously the dinamic duo, but the insane utility that Xingqiu has, with the hydro aplication, insane dmg reduction and useful heal makes him an obvious choice.
Nilou isn't the most versatile character, but damage wise not neuv or purrrina comes close to her. Those who have played her, know.

Diona is a good cryo support as well. I’ve been using her ever since i got her (plus points for being a cat i guess😂) She’s adorable, She heals and protects and her ult reduces the damage of opponents when they enter the healing circle (haha idk how to describe it). She’s easy to use and really carried my team as well as bennet😄
Navia is the only reason why people even look at the Geo element

I built my Ganyu for a melt team, but she isnt fun to play cuz CQB with a bow kinda sucks. Waiting for a pyro sub DPS for her.
Honestly imo Wriothesley’s the best cryo DPS character for sheer versatility and ease of use. Yeah Ayaka does more damage but she’s more often than not locked to a freeze team and if that burst misses your damage drops by a lot and bosses can’t be frozen. Melt Ayaka isn’t that optimal even with burning. Wriothesley on the other hand decimates with melt even F2P wrio can hit a 100k on that charged attack. He can also be used as a hyperbloom driver, in a freeze team and Mono cryo. Ganyu unfortunately imo stand with these two anymore
PS: Childe could be an honourable mention considering he’s arguably the most enduring character to date. He was among the first limited characters to be released and he’s still relevant to this day, almost always among Top 20 most used characters in abyss

She provides protection as well as a good amount of energy for my cryo team (w/ sac bow).

i joined a genshin competition they held and only got in 5th place but the prize for that was unexpected (i joined for fun without understanding the prize and was pleasantly surprised)

I see u swapping XL around with Bennett when you were talking about best pryo support. AND best DPS. So she's best support and dps all in one lol. Just one of the best characters in the game hands down. I don't even want to use her but she's just too strong no matter what other characters I choose or whether she has good synergy since she can be a top DPS just being off field 100% of the time lol.

And the fact that he chose 3 sub dpses at c0 over the 3 actual electro main dpses. My c0 Raiden with her weapon is very strong, don't get me wrong, but her damage as a main dps pales in comparison to my quickbloom Cyno comp. Like barely even comparable.

At this point in time, and looking at the last abyss rotations data, Wrio is the easy answer. He's self sustainable, is flexible enough in melt, burn and freeze teams, perfectly fits with Furina and two of her best healers (Mika and Jean due to attack speed buff), his charge attack while buffed can destroy geo shields and isn't Burst dependent
with a lot of bias, as a kazuha main and since his recent banner, a now c6 kazuha main, he takes home the money for me on support and dps. i love my zuzu. though, strictly dps, i like xiao the most esp with xianyun's release. i dont use him as often, but with xianyun i play him more than i did since i got him lol
Wait, wait, wait... Mika isn't the only Physical support.
Xinyan's shield increases the active character's Physical Damage by 15% and the swing that creates the shield reduces opponents' Physical Resistance by 15%. Her skill alone supports Physical Damage in two ways. Additionally, Rosaria's Burst reduces Physical Resistance by 20% for 10 secs at C6 iirc and being Cryo makes her one half of a Superconduct team. Paired with an electro unit, that means she reduces Physical Resistance by a further 30%.
Those things should count imo.

My elemental order is Pyro, Hydro, Electro, Cryo, Anemo, Geo, and then Dendro.
Its wriothesley imo since he can easily solo a bunch of abyss at c1. Although same can be said for ganyu but that is more reliant on content
no, i do not understand why nahida is broken please teach me. I have watched tons of guide and built her accordingly. I just don't know what team you can use her on!! for hyperbloom I main use on single target boss chambers and I love the furina baizhu combo, and for aoe chamber i use the kamisato siblings either freeze with ayaka when viable or soup with ayato. Ik she is great for hyperbloom on paper but I reallly don't have a team for her
The only one who has seen how much cryo Mika applies is Itspaikon when he fought pyro hypostasis on 4 mikas

The Accuracy is Insane 100% Agree 😇 specially for Cryo and Anemo part all of them are spectacular depending on the situation and Kazhua is the best anemo support no argument I hope it could have been Venti but still he good in some situation.

I have c2 ayaka, c0 ganyu and c1 wrio
all of them are too strong but ayaka doesn't need just good rotation, she also needs good positioning for her burst and her dash is clunky sometimes tbh, and doesn't preform well against bosses.
on the other hand, wrio can be used against anyone cuz he has a good AoE and I don't know why no one knows that :), also good on both bosses and multiple enemies but u need a groper ofc like everyone else, and he's so fun to play and can literally be on any team unlike ayaka and ganyu, like he can be in a hyper bloom team ! Lol.
ganyu is strong and constant but I don't like using bow characters. and she can be used as a support and that's really cool.
I still use Ayaka as my main DPS and she is really strong yet, np in abyss

I think fischl is the best electro DPS, you can replace C0 Raiden in her best team with fischl and it woks very well,she can be put in any other teams in their flexible slot. And fischl just got buffed so many times with the presence of dendro,gilded dream, and now Golden troupe.
