Old video but looking to get one. Did you reduce the wind buffering vs a standard wind screen? Seems wind comes up from around forks to create buffering too. Curious how accurate that is. A lot of cash to get it and be disappointed because wind issue remains. Also seriously only 5 minutes to take it off?
I just did the same thing to my Road King special. I’m not sure how to get the lights from the handlebars down to the forks like you did. I wish you could tell me there’s a simple way to do the wiring. I would appreciate any help you can give me thanks by the way nice bike, Tim
My opinion is all these bikes need to be setup with plug and play everything regarding the farings.. o they can be removed with just a couple bolts.. and then all the electrical should be plug in…. Maybe have an extension harness for the extra length needed for the faring.. it definitely could be done… making everything easy to remove and upgrade

Thank you.. I ground down and re drilled the mounting brackets to make it tilt back and sit lower by 3/4 of an inch. Since this vid , I have removed handlebar mounted turn signals and added a headlight trim ring . If you decide to purchase one and have any questions, then please let me know.
Spokes and Dreams thanks i read about guys modifying the brackets . How did you mount the turn signals ? I wanted to heads the passing lights but they use the same windshield mounts
@@socalgolf9978 I purchased street glide special black turn signal and bracket kit from Utah Harley for around $140.. they come with the correct plugs.. as simple as un plugging your handlebar turn signals from the main harness on left side of bike in front of gas tank.. both left and right plug in there. It helps to remove the headlight to access all the plugs. You can also buy the Street glide passing and turn signal brackets that mount on either side of forks the same way . I think that bracket is around $350 without the passing lights.

The turn signals came online from Utah Harley Davidson. They are Street glide special turn signals. The HD Fitment guide claims that they will not fit a Road King.. not true, they bolted on easily and plugged inside the headlight bucket.

Just ordered mine with the olive gold paint, 4 speakers and amp! Pretty excited hope it’s worth it. Looks like a street glide to me
