I picked an M8 Fat Boy. RoadKing is long, big, heavy and doens't have the style of the Fat Boy. I'm loving every ride on my bike, it's such a cool bike to not just look at when it's parked but also the view from the rider's seat. That headlamp and big tank just feels so COOL.
2 lovely bike But for me fatboy all day long ..i have 2021 fat boy I have it 1week..and can't get out on it whether 😏 shit in Ireland but I love looking at it
I always enjoy watching your videos while having a German beer 🍺 I’m sure you know what I am talking about 😎 Love the information on Road King vs. Fat Boy! Greetings from Germany to Canada, my friend! Happy Halloween everyone
someone my size (6'2") sitting on an old Dyna with the shorter frame and 39mm forks makes it look small so i'm here looking for an Evo Fat Boy or Road King. probably going to get a Fat Boy to use as a city bike and i'll build a freaking long chopper for cross country road trips.
Thanks for the video. I’m kinda confused with both of Fat Boy/Road king which one to buy. My needs are short/long rides/goes through road patches (indian roads ah well)/ with wife or solo. Everyone says I should get road king. Not sure Kinda Fat boy badass looks killing me when I thought of buying road king. Moreover Road king is more practical bike for Indian Roads specially. I’m seeing showroom this week, let’s see what i get with. Let me know your thoughts as well. Thanks and riding safe 💪🏻
Hi, thank you so much for posting this video. I'm so on the fence between the RK and Faty. I get what you said about getting more for your money with the road king. I wondered if both had abs as standard and if cornering abs was an option, also what you're opinion on cornering abs is. I love the look of the fatboy but should my wife want to head of with me would I be kicking myself for not getting the RK. Great video, thanks again man. Happy holloween
The Fatboy and Roadking both come with ABS standard. I think the cornering ABS is an option but I have never looked into it. I think which one you get would depend on the length of your rides. If you’re planning on doing some touring with the wife you may want to lean towards the Roadking. But if not, the Fatboy would be fine for a passenger on shorter rides.
Both bikes have ABS. Cornering ABS is available as part of the RDRS (Reflex Defensive Rider System), a $995 (US) option on the RK. It's not available on any of the Softail models including the Fatboy.
I really enjoy my pre-owned 2016 HD RK standard model. Like that it comes with a windshield and lockable hard saddlebags. I hear some people say that the RK, being a touring model should come with a USB port. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and Happy Halloween. 🙂🏍
Roadkings are definitely a nice bike. I know that Fatboys come with a USB so I would be shocked if the newer Roadkings didn’t. Happy Halloween to you too!
@@canadiansa1nt309Found your thought interesting probably because I love my 2017 RK standard and would hate to travel without hard bags. As far as a USB, I purchased the USB adapter from Harley (~$30) that you plug into the battery charger plug. I slip it under the left side cover when not in use. I see now the RK also comes with tire pressure monitor accessed by the left trigger switch. And you can get Road Kings with the RDRS option for ~$1000 more. I have enjoyed adding more lights, new bars, grips,, seat, air cleaner and lowered it an inch. What ever way you go you can have a lot of fun making it your own.😄
2021 road king standard with the 119 upgrade for the price of road king special works for me
👍

I agree with your assessment of the Roadking. And the Fatboy is a great bike to ride. 👍
What year do you have?
@@jimmiller82 2018 Fat Boy 114. You can see it on my channel.

Sounds like a plan 👍
I owned an 07 Road King last year, thinking about selling my current rides for a 2011 Fatboy. Don't think you could go wrong with either.
I agree. Both bikes are great. I’ve owned both. 👍
Picked Fatboy, love the look of it
Can’t disagree with that 👍
My Roadking handled corners better than my Fatboy, but thats mainly because of the wider front and back tires
The Roadking is a fantastic bike.
Amen 2 bikes > 1 wife for sure !!
Got that right.

Test ride them both and you should get an idea. The Roadking would most likely be a better choice for longer rides or with a passenger.

Tough comparison you shoulda compared the special due to the 114 being on both bikes
I thought about it but I went by price point and the fact I had owned the standard Roadking so I had a good understanding of the differences.

Road King! All Day!
I can’t argue since I’ve had them both 👍
Road King for the win
Thx bro
No problem. 👍
Thanks you
No problem.
Rks hands down. No Brainer
I think that the road king standard has been discontinued for 2023.
It looked like the special is the only model available. It would be a shame to see that model discontinued.
@@canadiansa1nt309 it would be a crime
good vid well done
Thanks, appreciate it 👍
I want a fatboy like terminator
Gonna need a 1991 model then.
What about riding experience differences? That's hugely important . . . I say the single most important, but you didn't speak to it at all.
As far as riding experience, the weight of the Roadking made all the difference.
are you deaf , he clear talked about handling differences, good grief,
@@user-lk1fd3ye7t I'm illiterate. Can you come over and tell me in person . . . but do you know sign language? I'm deaf. I love you.
