I love how she cried at the end and most episodes I noticed most people comment on how much they love their new space but don’t really hear people saying thank you. I love this episode of a kitchen renovation! The usage of space, color, and textures and the fact that it was exactly what the client wanted without being able to put it into words. Job well done!
This episode was phenomenal! I love how she transformed their space -- I especially loved the teal backsplash w/o grouting. Side note, I had no idea, you could have a portable dishwaserh.
Turned out quite nice! Love the turquoise glass back splash! My only thing that I wished you guys did was to make the bench into a storage bench as I feel thats so much space going to waste under there.
I totally agree! I love the bench but it should have been a storage bench.

Lowe's, I love your channel. I go to my local Lowe's often and just replaced all our appliances second time around there. I love these episodes because they are more realistic to me than what I would see on HGTV. I am looking forward to remodeling our kitchen one day and all these shows are really helpful. I've used it in rental property, really easy to do, looks great, softer to stand on than tile. Love it!

Very simple and yet classy lay-out, the backsplash was gorgeous ... i honestly loved it. Monica's talent is super natural. Thanks for doing all these renovations, I wish I'd be lucky to have you do my kitchen :-)

Even though the cabinets looked outdated, they looked to be in great condition... and strong. Sad they didn't salvage them and donated them.
I agree that most of these shows are wasteful when doing demo. That said, it looks like they salvaged the island cabinets and reused them. Go back to the first part of the vid. The drawers were in pretty bad shape. The "L" section of the kitchen had too many elements replaced to make room for the dishwasher and increase access of corner storage.

I agree, but I kinda disagree with having a bench seat at all for the table. It's difficult to seat people, they have to slide along until they get to their place.
They would have had to build a different kind of brace support that would have taken more time, and a hinged top. Then they'd have maybe a few sections to put things. They have enough new storage already.
Yes AND freestanding. NEVER recommend putting holes in hardwood floors. How hard would it have been to build a box with a lid?!

Wow. The seating redesign is just awesome. It saved space and made a connected dining room and so did the mirror finished tiles. The design was well thought and worth the result.
I realize a ton of work was done behind the scenes with more people (cleanup of demo, drywall, more painting, appliance installation, most of the countertops, furniture delivery, lighting, and more), but I do believe they did it all in three days and I just can't get over it. They didn't change the layout which is absolutely key, but wow. Most people live without a kitchen for weeks, even months during a kitchen reno. Sure, those involve new layouts, probably, but THREE DAYS. I can't get over it! :)

Lmbo, I grew up having a portable dishwasher just like this one. It was functional for us, being a family of 6, and having a very tiny kitchen but a huge dining area.
