If Joel Schumacher treated Batman like his crime thriller films, I imagine Batman wouldn't gotten the Nolan reboot and the comic flick landscape be so different.
Yeah, this movie could have been a masterpiece just Batman '89 and Batman Returns. The Schumacher Trilogy could have been a great trilogy but now at least we got the Nolan trilogy, the Snyderverse (even if it was tragically unfinished), and the current Reevesverse!
The one scene where he’s a real legitimate threat is the Circus. The scene isn’t played for laughs and Two Face shows some real intelligence for deducing that Batman is somewhere in the crowd. And it ends with him killing Robin’s parents. Great sequence
I actually don't mind the goofy Two Face. He has that 90s charm (and Batman Forever, in general). Oh, and by the way: I highly recommend you check out Channel Awesome's "What If Tim Burton Directed Batman Forever?" Fanscription video. It's definitely what the movie would have looked like if they didn't decide to go the whole "needs more neon lights" route to sell toys. Definitely worth checking out if you want some inspiration on how to rewrite something campy like Batman Forever and Batman & Robin into something more dark/gritty, my preferred tone when writing stories.
God that horrendous air sucking noise at 0:28 does not sound healthy, I guess Maroni's acid went through this poor man's nostrils and melted half his lungs too
The sad part if you were there coming off the heels of batman returns and the fugitive. Tommy Lee Jones sounded awesome and the director did lost boys. This movies going to be. Wtf.
I think that Joel Schumacher could have made a good Batman movie if WB had actually let him make a dark and serious Batman like he wanted to. He also made the movie Falling Down which is a very dark and serious movie.
Tommy Lee Jones honestly would have been an inspired choice for Joker. But since this is Two-Face it's weird to see him being so goofy since TLJ was trying to compete with Jim Carrey.
I wish the Batman movies would lighten up a bit today. We had the really serious version, we need a more lighter version after having had so many ultra-dark versions these days.
@jean Cárdenas you can have a mix of lighter and darker, as batman forever showed. Alas, it looks like the strictly grim version is the prevalent tone ATM. Hoping that will change with the times!
Hi mr rouges, i hope you and your family had a fantastic christmas and new year. . I kind of wonder how tim burton would have potrayed the riddler and two face if it he had stayed on as director
You should have put more the scene where he realized batman was on the nose of the helicopter and tried shooting him but shot his goon instead. Both their noises were satisfying for some reason.
Tommy Lee Jones: "I cannot sanction your buffoonery"
also Tommy Lee Jones:
😂😂😂😂😂😂
When he said bwahhhheehehhaw I really felt that 😢
If Joel Schumacher treated Batman like his crime thriller films, I imagine Batman wouldn't gotten the Nolan reboot and the comic flick landscape be so different.
It was supposed to have some darker, more introspective character driven elements, but the studio said no
He could have started with not wasting 20% of the footage on bat nipples and bat asses.

I like them the way they are honestly, they’re actually unique

0:37 I know how you feel dude
The elevator door closing shot is the funniest. 0:34
Tommy Lee Jones's Two-Face must be those "so bad it's good"-performances.
Crack sure is one hell of a drug.
It still is very jarring seeing someone like Tommy Lee Jones being so cartoony
Lovely to see your uploads Rogues ❤️
His henchmen also make the coolest noises when you punch them.
... I still kinda like this Two-Face's sense of style.
Man, I love Tommy's Two-Face so much. XD
Best 2 face
I’m just gonna say Tommy Lee Jones was highly entertaining in this film.
I swear, his half burnt makeup must've inspired Heath Ledger's Joker look a little. Their smiles are fairly similar. 🤣
He was having a blast, crazy he's usualy the serius guy but for some reason he's compleaty off the rails in this movie....
Probalbly drugs
0:57 this one sounds like an evil smiley face
Tommy Lee Jones: Hates Jim Carrey over not sanctioning his buffoonery.
Also Tommy Lee Jones: 0:57
I love Tommy Lee Jones's Over the Top Portrayal of Two-Face, it's SO Underrated
This is all I’ve ever wanted in life, thank you mr rouges.
It’s funny how he’s such a dry actor in most of his movies but then he does this outrageous performance 😂😂😂
He was TwoFace'n on Will Smith during the dinner scene in Men in Black 1😂
my new ring tone
It'd wake me the hell up without a doubt

He died as he lived: making weird noises
Lmao
Who knew that the other half of Harvey Dent was really a laughing, burping monkey?
0:37 When rumors go around that Covid is back. 😂
Nothing like a bad case of gas.
He could rival The Joker in laughing LOL
In another world, Tommy Lee Jones played The Joker.
HEE HA...HEE HEE YA!
This movie is such a weird outlier in Tommy Lee Jones’s career. I can’t think of anything he’s done before or since that is this ridiculously goofy
That laugh he makes at 0:57 is everything to me.
I think he enjoyed this.
Love when the elevator is closing
Imagine Tommy Lee Jones laughing in your face. His breath must have smelt of whisky and cigar smoke.
And he had the gull to berate Carrey?
0:52 best one
This is one of the reasons I edited out his weird noises in my fan edit.
You know you failed when William Shatner's performance of Two-Face was more comic accurate.

Channel awesome blows
I love the neon lights
This is the goofiest version of Two-Face I've ever seen.
These words come Out of mr rogues If DC Ever does two-face at The DC cinematic universe
This is the same dude who hated Jim Carrey because he acted like a "bafoon"
Are you serious lmao
If the pandemic is over 0:16

Right after Batman returns? They had money to make for one and deadlines!
Tommy Lee Jones honestly would have been an inspired choice for Joker.
But since this is Two-Face it's weird to see him being so goofy since TLJ was trying to compete with Jim Carrey.
I lost it at 0:36 🤣
Honestly, so did I.
What a strange man
Not enough buffoonery, I see
I wish the Batman movies would lighten up a bit today. We had the really serious version, we need a more lighter version after having had so many ultra-dark versions these days.
@jean Cárdenas that's not live action that's CGI

we need tobey maguire spiderman tone of batman movies
I think Two Face is reincarnated as Joker spirit
No Tommy. Your not doing the Joker. Your playing Twoface.
The irony that he couldn't stomach his co stars Buffonery yet his role was very buffoon makes his point moot and hypocritical
Please Continue Making Videos Rogues!
Lol you’re a little nuts love it

Yay, you're Back!
Still better then Spider-Man 3.

Hey Rogues, Do You Watch Umbrella Academy, Invincible and The Boys
Why is this the first notification I get from you in a long while? TH-cam broke again???
Nah, I quit YT Cam.
@@mr.rogues4145 OH NOOOO!!!! 😱
For such a good actor he was really terrible in this movie 😆
Thoughts on joker being pregnant?
Lol where'd you get the movie?
Walmart, target, Amazon Prime, HBO Max 😊
Loony Tunes on crack anyone?
and 5 sec
I would’ve loved to See Billy Dee Williams in the Role, Not like that makes me dislike Tommy Lee Jones performance though
Lmao
That and the music make my ears bleed.
Some of the music is really quite good, but a lot of it is painful to listen to.
WTF
Not quite what I expected the next mr rogues video to be. But at least it's something...
