There is 4 in total the last one only appears when you did all the serantu totems in the game tho but its worth it he drops some pretty good bonusses on his hide and his tooth 😉
@@joerim4871 So I know about the Gossamer Lakes, Boulderlands, White Moss, and Spool Island thanators. But they all spawned for me before I completed all the totems… Is there another one?
@@ChillwJilltheres the normal thanator there is the boulderlands thanator there is the white moss thanator and the is the kinglor wetlands thanator (these are their names) so thats 4 in total, ive never heard of spoollands thanator or grossamer lakes thanator tho 😅
I was so close to defeating the angy kitty, I didn't know the fallen branch (which I stood in front of half the time) was actually my savior and key to clean killing it. thank you for the tips!
Can you do a tutorial on how to clean kill the kinglor wetlands thanator? You have the best tutorials on how to kill the thanators. Great job these videos.
Thank you! Absolutely! I’m in the process of uploading a massive file to YT at the moment, but that’ll be the next video I edit. Footage already recorded!
Hey! I tried making a tutorial for you all but couldn't finish recording due to a bug/glitch in the game. This is what I learned (I know you @djmarkndasia94uxgthigpenn79 have A & B, but just wanted to let others have this knowledge too): - You get access code A by completing the side quest Deadly Hunt. You activate it by talking to a Na'vi at Weaver's Flourish Na'vi Camp in the Silk Woods domain of the Kinglor Forest. (She isn't always there, so you may have to pass the time.) But she says she saw a stormglider, so if you hear those words, you're on the right track. - You get access code B by completing the side quest Feral Hunter. This quest is automatically activated when you complete Deadly Hunt. - You get access code C by completing the side quest Severed Bonds BUT there is currently a glitch where if you are too far into the game, you cannot proceed with this quest as it won't let you call Anqa from a field lab. But according to some forums, you have to complete Severed Bonds at least twice for you to get access code C. Apparently just doing it once won't cut it. - The lab to use these codes is called Research Station Alpha & is found by fast traveling to Herbalist's Rest Na'vi Camp in the center of The Cut domain of the Clouded Forest & walking across the vine to the right, above The Stealth River. You can still use A & B to get some rewards, but you won't have C to get the final reward if you are like me & the game is glitched. - I think Deadly Hunt is supposed to be completed first, then Severed Bonds, & finally Feral Hunter (since you can't do that until you reach the Clouded Forest). Hope this helps a bit & I apologize for the delayed response.

So the fart pods... {Hilarious that y'all call them that) how are you using them so the animal coughs and stands still. So far smaller predators and herbs just run away. Love your videos by the way. Thank you
Thank you! I don’t think they work on all wildlife, but definitely all the thanators. I tried on stormgliders, too, but they weren’t phased by it. I recommend investing in the Powerful Staffsling II of the Hunter skill tree, which increases the effect duration and range of the skunk palm pods. Makes it easier to kill the thanators
Yay! Glad to hear! Do you have a food buff active? For example, when I have the nimble gatherer 3 buff active, it shows an increased stat range in the Hunter’s Guide for the flora and wildlife, but I’ve come to the conclusion that nimble gatherer 3 does not actually give you increased stats on wildlife. Only the gatherable flora.
Why in my game (PC) I don't have arrows I shoot? I've seen before some guy was shooting the tree and arrows were there, but When I do so, I just see holes from arrows and no arrow in in any wildlife. Does someone know my issue?
One spawns at a time. Kill it, and then it respawns a few in-game days later. Repeat the process and you have more thanator resources than you know what to do with!
Only one more thanator tutorial left to publish! As we wrap up our thanator series, what other clean/merciful tutorials do you wanna see?

Easy peasy by following your video. Now trying to figure out why im not getting max stats on the bone after flawless kill.
