EXPERT MODE PLAYERS PLEASE READ! if you are in EXPERT mode, make sure you bring multiple totems of return and equip after each death in battle!

when you die in expert mode, it gets you back to the bed you last slept in. and totems of return will reset the entire fight and you will have to start all "phases" over again. what charms do you recommend for expert?

Good tip: the smash attack only happens if your close. So if you are feeling overwhelmed, bait the slam and regain control of the fight.

When the rollers come out stand near the edge if you can. Theyll roll at you and straight off.
@@TheGeeza1980 I had them appear back in after rolling off and if you aren’t careful they knock you off for a ton of damage.
@@TheGeeza1980 you can also use the knock back shield I used it and it was OP!

This game is not for kids, I did 2 runs and I had to go all out. I can't believe they made it that hard to get the trophies
The game needed a challenge. It was way too easy previously imo.

damage, storm bane, destruction and zapping is what i use for storm king and dungeons, i have 3 legend charms or i use 3 regeneration charms
I find stink bombs to be very useful when on the final stage.

i recommend you using the ruby spear because it has more speed
Good call on the speed! I actually went back to using a sword because of the damage. I usually take down the crystals faster even though its slower on attacks.

Will go normal survival mode before expert just to test the waters but loving the new update makes it more of a challenge.
Just need to be careful of the bed outside the portal, if someone where to fail and rage quit then come back 24+hrs later they would respawn at that point and instantly die to the storm, no 30 sec countdown or anything just instant death, and in Expert, that would be the worst imaginable ending as you'd already be without a totem of return. I just saved in the storm and left, re-entered and instantly died to storm, luckily only in survival mode.
You don’t die in the storm, you just get sent out of the storm and with totem I suggested you get extra time in the storm.
@@Haskyns Oh really? Interesting. When I reentered my world I was instantly with storm eyes and transported out so I assumed that meant in expert it would count as death but I guess not. Thanks for sharing, just didn't want someone to accidentally lose their expert world just in case. Love your vids!

I've just got the lost Isles trophy 🏆 im dreading trying to get the storm one. I did it in normal survival, and it was horrible 😅
It’s no longer called expert mode it’s called Insane Mode.

Good call, totally overlooked to sushi.
Just looked blue sushi only gives 2 hears and 2 bonus. Much harder to cook up too.
How do you get more “eye of the storm” I opened the tempest gateway but wasn’t prepared so I had to let it close . Also, are legendary weapons better suited in expert mode??
You can farm them by killing enemies in the storms and by completing storm dungeons. You can also get more by taking down Raven.
Legendary weapons are great in both standard survival and expert.

Does storm bane work on spawners? Or only on actual creatures?
Great question. I believe its only enemies, destruction works on spawners.

I havent played this on mobile, but the strategies for this on expert would be the same you just need to have extra totems of return on.
What Blocks did you use to make the skeleton around your trophy?

How do you get better runes?
Lost isles or storm dungeons. Easiest place to get them is on the floating islands in lost isles.
How do I replay and fight the king
I used fly mode
One question how to fight him again?
@@HexifiedBS obtain 10 more eyes of the storm and return 24 hrs after defeating him to open the portal again.
How do you hire someone again
Talk to a villager and ask them to explore.

@@TheUltimateGooner it can be easy if you’re only getting acolytes spawning in. But if you’re getting rollers and storm crawlers late, its much more difficult.
With the charm nerf, survival is now similar to expert. A grassland brute elim me on the first day. So I had to approach survival like expert. Next stop is expert mode to get the new trophies.
Survival mode 😂.
Same tips apply to expert, fight plays out the same but is slightly more difficult. Most people play survival, so it makes sense to help the majority.
