How OpenAI Sora will change YouTube forever

- After OpenAI recently announced Sora, a text to video model, it's got me thinking about what impact AI tools will have on TH-cam and the film and movie industry in general.

Hey great job! You got me to click and watch from start to finish! 😎 I think you're right, there's an opportunity coming that some people will latch onto (embracing AI video) and others will fight it. B1M is a great channel, and they might be able to cut their costs, but channels like those are also going to be facing a lot more competition. By this time next year, who knows what's going to be happening. One thing is for sure: coming up with b-roll clips is about to get a lot easier haha
You are not the only person who is unsure. One thing I wonder about is if Sora is given a public release, how much energy will it need? Or compute? I don't know if OpenAI even knows. That's a huge barrier.
Yeah I think ChatGPT costs like almost a million dollars to run every day so you’d have thought Sora could well be 5 times that, maybe more. Makes me think it’s actually going to really expensive to use.
A great change is coming that’s for sure and you are already ahead because you are thinking about it, this is the advantage that could grow your channel…
If you can get knowledgable at these tools, and then show people how to use them effectively via TH-cam, then your channel will blow up!
Growing a channel isn’t easy (ask me how I know 😂), but my main advice is make everything as good as you can do as you never know what will blow up!
