Young people expect to be visually and acoustically bombarded now by any kind of entertainment. They do not want to (and perhaps can't?) put any effort, focus or concentration into the experience. @@TKO67 I do understand the piano enough to have a discussion about it. I was never great but I did play four instruments, including piano. I agree there is a base level of talent necessary to excel at music, including piano. However, that base level is readily available throughout our population. I believe what separates the normal pianists from the elite is not talent, but work ethic, and I find it insulting to those who have put in the effort to achieve this level of performance to suggest that they were simply handed their talent as a gift from God, as opposed to developing it through dedication to their craft. The same goes for athletes. The difference between the elite baseball player and the guy who fizzled out in college is almost never talent. And the "work" isn't necessarily "harder" work, it's smarter work. Knowing how to train physically and mentally to achieve peak performance.

When you can make a piano talk, you are definitely a grest pianist, my he definitely is very gifted. 🙏🇺🇲👍
Hearing this just lowered my blood pressure and reminded how healing music can be. I've always appreciated the intricacy of this piece when Queen played it, but to hear it so masterfully done by soloist on piano is beyond words.
Oh my, I so agree. He has an amazing talent. Just beautifully done.

Who would have thought someone could make a Queen song sound like a classical music masterpiece? Amazing.
Sheer brilliance!!
Ummm Queen…
This song has always been a classical masterpiece
Clearly you don’t know anything about Queen or Freddie Mercury. It was intentionally written that way. This performer is also brilliant and is able to emotionally connect with a listener with only the piano as his instrument.
He probably went to music school. He went to music school.
I can listen to him all day! He’s why pianos were invented ❤️
I agree.
He is so talented.
Amen to that!
what a nice addressing !
I was moved to tears listening to the music coming from the piano.
Never heard Bohemian Rhapsody sound so poetic. Wonderful arrangement

The song itself is poetic wym lol.
It's already a poetic song, this just turned it up to 11.

This is a difficult piece to play, WITH sheet music. You played it all by memory. An absolute brilliant display of your talent as a pianist.💯🎶 🎹

That is EXACTLY what I was thinking throughout the entire song!!! How do you memorize such a complicated, difficult, long song like that???

Freddy Mercury inherited his musical gifts from his mom who was a professional opera singer.
Awesome!
Do these people realize how lucky they are to listen to this live?
And he did it without sheet music....boy's got some talent
I usually use my sheet music as my guide for when my hands come down at the same time or to know what section is coming next. But once you get confident in a song you can playing it without the sheet music. It’s just a matter of repetition and practice.

Young people expect to be visually and acoustically bombarded now by any kind of entertainment. They do not want to (and perhaps can't?) put any effort, focus or concentration into the experience. So they can't relate to this kind of music at all. They think rap is music! Perhaps I have overstated it, but it's definitely the trend and getting increasingly common. @@timschmitt6764 sorry but if you understand the piano. There is gifted and then there is everything else
