After playing this game and seeing the credits again, I realize just how much thought went into just the opening credits. Every single thing seen, such as the metronome, doll, and weather vane, as well as the locations, such as the Sanatorium Atrium and the road that they take to the lodge, are all included in the game. Not only that, they are significant, such as the metronome Dr. Hill uses in the Interludes and the gas mask Secondly, the credits really make you think, "What happened on this mountain? The Makkapitew, the Cree, the tin and radium miners, Beth, Hannah, Victor Milgram, his grandfather, Josh, everybody." It's just amazing that feeling of all the, albeit fictional, lives it took.
Even movies are lacking this kind of quality intros. I miss the good old times where we had intros like that at the beginning of movies. One of the many reasons why I love this game, it knows which group it wants to attract with this game.
They don’t do openings anymore because 99.9% of the world is in too big of a hurry. They’re like “come on! Come on! Let’s get this going! I’ve got things to do! I don’t have time for stupid openings!” It’s sad.
I feel like if I were in their friend circle I wouldn't have gone in the first place, as I don't do sleepovers, so it would be very strange for me to find out the next morning that a bunch of them died up there.
+jetnight 88 But y'know the point of this being a game is the fact of how many different routes there are with the butterfly effect and all. With a movie, wouldn't they be bound to one path? It'd kinda take away from it, in my opinion. Of course, that's just what I think.
Kaj I think they'd do the good or bad ending, where everyone lives and Josh is turned into a Wendigo, and Sam unintentionally kills those searching for any remaining survivors. The bad being everyone dies, and then Sam gets killed in the final battle, and Mike sacrifices himself.
Wow, music done by the same guy that did Tomb Raider. The new one of course, and I'm speaking of the one from a few years ago. "Rise of a Tomb Raider" doesn't count yet, since it's not out on the PS4 yet. :P
That looks like such a depressing place to have a getaway, cursed or not. It's all gloomy and outdated. They should have just went to Aspen, Colorado or the Poconos Mountains
