Guy in the drivers seat should be thrown in jail for saying he’s more a fan of the 2010-11 over the 2013-14 models! The tail lights on the 13-14 models were the best ever and the hood vents look amazing. Also in 2010 you got the 4.6 not the Coyote!
I have a 2011 5.0 track pack GT premium with about the same mods as this car in the video. Boss 302 intake manifold, air raid cold air intake, long tube headers, roush axle back exaust, 6 piston brembo brakes. It’s the first performance car I’ve ever owned, and I’m in love to say the least. Gets so many compliments from car enthusiasts and everyone in between and it’s such a great driver and is moderately comfortable. Got mine in racing red. Love my coyote, and love this video!!!
Personally, the best looking combo for the 2011-2014 S197 5.0 would have been the 11-12 front with the 13-14 rear. That exhaust note though…hipster or square, undeniably glorious!
@@TexasTruckChannel didn't really enjoy the video until the second guy (i forgot his name, sorry) started to drive the mustang the way it was ment to. Awesome video and thank you too. Take care.
As the first guy (Craig) I have to say you are absolutely correct! The second guy (Bryan) truly knows how to drive this thing. In another life I'm convinced he's a professional drifter or rally driver! Thanks so much for watching. Love the feedback and let us know when you get your Stang!
2014 Track Pack here.. driveline issues: Mirror Vibe at 70, 2nd gear lockout are pretty bad. Fixed it: New one piece driveshaft, HiPo clutch, stainless clutch hose, shifter. Why would ford do a 2 piece driveshaft for such a short car? The stock clutch is total trash.. seems like it doesn't fully release, drags a little? Swapped it early before syncros gone.
Besides the oil fill cap, are there any other boss 302 engine parts that may of made it to the track pack? Torsen Rear is starting to wine a little.. thinking I may drop the rear ratio to 3.55. With the stock 3.73, first gear is prractically useless..
My friend had one of these with the Track Pak , Which has the Boss 302 oil cooler which is a piece of junk and replaced 3 times because it allows oil into the cooling system when it's cheap aluminum cooling fins crack after every 30k miles Also don't waste your money on the Boss 302 radiator 3 row either that the track Pak cars came with. Its cheap plastic tank had to be replaced at just 37000 miles . $ 600 replacement part and it's junk . Ebay standard 2 row replacement $80 and worked fine . Best mod for these is remove the stupid clutch assist spring . It prevents the pressure plate from full engagement during shifts. Causing the infamous , this shifter is garbage comment . It's not the shifter , That's a fact "

I have a 2013 Mustang GT Premium Sport Package in Gotta Have It Green with bigger brakes from stock Mustang GTs but not quite Brembos. It has what is called a "Generic Tune" by Ford and installed with a K&N air filter from the Ford Dealership. It is the tune that is put on Mustang Cobras from 2013/2014 by Ford according to the dealership I bought the car from. No matter how I drive the car, I cannot get above 15mpg at ALL, unless I'm in 6th gear on the highway cruising, where it can get up to 70mpg. I'm not kidding. I think that is REALLY weird. I have it recorded in the dash software. I've done it multiple times.
Interesting feedback, have never heard of this. Love the Gotta Have It Green though. That is such a fun color! Thanks for watching and be on the lookout for our latest Mustang video coming out soon where we compare a GT350 to a Gen III Coyote.

Must mods for a 11-14, upgrade the clutch, go with a one piece driveshaft and a blowfish bracket. It will feel like a different car.
Amen to that!
personally id say a tune, clutch, and mgw short shifter
Why is the driveshaft a must mod?

Sadly stability control is still on, even after that. It’s greatly reduced, but still hiding in the background.
