There are quit a few people doing these type of video's on you tube. Most giggle , make silly comments, jump up and down. I really appreciate your style, not annoying . thanks.
you are without a doubt the finest field mechanic on YT. You recognize the right way to go about bringing an oldie back to life...emphasizing to do no more damage in the process. Very satisfying to watch you work. The dry cranking you did allowed for at least some priming of the oiling system.
Discovered this channel a couple weeks ago and I’m totally hooked. My grandfather was an engineer who learned his craft in the 1920’s. His ability to fix any internal combustion engine, pump, or electric motor was unsurpassed. You remind me of him and how I imagine he was as a younger man. He passed away when I was 35, I’m 73 now and I still miss hanging out in the garage or barnyard watching him working on farm equipment. He called himself a gentleman farmer because he made his living working for John Bean designing pumps for fire engines.
I bought a 78 international scout a few weeks ago with zero knowledge on how to move forward with a restoration. I’ve since become hooked on your videos and already feel much more confident moving forward on the project. Thanks for the awesome content! BH
Gus is freaking cute, what an amazing little boy, great video getting life back and into that awesome looking truck, 👍🏼👍🏼🇦🇺🇦🇺🦘🦘Cheers from Melbourne Australia
I like to see really young guys like you tearing in these older vehicles, amazed of your knowledge of old engines, and watch all your videos Will it starts and your boat videos. Every night, that little dog gush is really cute and you and Jenn are a nice couple !
Good morning Chris thanks for this awesome video, this truck brings back memories when i was a kid i used to drive this truck on the farm...and i always loved the style of this hood..this truck was a beast back in its day..they sure dont make em like that anymore..keep these classic videos coming dude..Your buddy Jeff from Pennsville..🤘🏼👍🍻
I went down from Massachusetts to Tennessee to look at a square body truck actually and I ended up buying a 1988 Dodge Diplomat no rust so when I came back I obviously undercoated it. It probably floats at this point
Gus is just a peach! we have owned a number of Black and Tans but never a dapple with blue eye's. He is having a blast with you two! always an adventure!
Love watching! That's quite a business. finding trucks/cars, repairing them on vid and reselling them. buyer can see what they are getting! Cool! That ambulance is the ticket!
Hey Chris tell your mates at blaster to broaden thier market to down here in Australia. We often get overlooked for awesome products but we have one of the biggest automotive/mechanical scenes in the world. Love your work mate.
This might be one of those situations where you have to blame your government for the lack of the import... I'm not saying it is I'm just saying it might be. Best wishes! 🤔👍🏻🇺🇸 - Max Giganteum
You are such a humble guy. You should start a join your channel where people pay a small amount per month to allow you to do these jobs. I'm sure alot of your subscribers would be willing to support you. All the best.
Dude I look forward to watching your vids and coffee in the morning!!! You've definitely shown me a thing or two that I've found helpful in my tinkering. Keep up the great work!!!! BH
Honestly, seeing how well the Blaster products work, Im gonna go over to that for my own car, seems way better than anything else. Love the channel Chris, keep em coming man. BH
When I started watching your videos I left some coments about it was nice having Jen and Gus in your videos . and got a rude reply. I am happy you put up the arning !
Hi Chris, I saw you were in Pompano, I live just up the road in Delray Beach. I came across your channel a couple weeks ago, like your style and been watching and liking 'a lot'.👍BH
You have a kind soul. How ever like so many guy's your missing the gold in your life. The lady the twinkle in your eye the calm in your storm. One's it's gone you ponder the loss and learn to relearn. Heart is true if it's burning steady every day. Just saying the automotive of the heart runs well with some tender loving care. Snuggle Snuggle hug hug I'm a guy I love'ya bud I also love your channel. Stay gold ☺️👍
I really like the style of the COE. Reminds me of my Grandad's 74' Ford 600 apart from the cab over. Solid running engine, trans (have to hunt for it, like your other Tow Truck video) and two speed. Great on the highway. I couldn't imagine not having to purchase all new brake cylinders, pads, brake lines, master, pto gasket and output seal, pinion seal on the rear transaxle, new light wiring all around , carb rebuild and tune up. Then finding COE donor doors. A couple 2x6 for the bed, double check all welds. Couldn't ask much more than 5800 after though unless full restoration. Spot on with the video!
Hey Chris, great job Brother with these vids… I’m from London England so I have taken your advise and burned my money on B’laster products babieee :). Keep up the good work dude. BH..
Dear NNKH couple 👍👌👏 Another one brought back to life! I absolutely love cute little Gus 💚 (as I often mentioned before). Best regards luck and health to all involved life forms (humans and dogs).
Enjoy watching and learning from all the videos. A real renaissance man. Repairs aren't too in depth to apply to just one thing but overall troubleshooting really helps broaden my knowledge of many kinds of repairs. BH
Such a neat rig would definitely like to see a follow up video on what ends up happening to it since you got it mostly running. Great stuff as always absolutely love seeing the adventures You, Jen, and Gus go on! (BH)
I don't think you even had 1000 fans when I subscribed to your channel but I remember thinking eh just subscribe he seems like he's a pretty intelligent guy just try him out and um6 glad I did. You have one of my favorite channels on you tube. Thanks for sharing your knowledge Nd a small peice of your life with us I look forward to your. Videos every week👍
Eventually you gotta do a joint venture with another channel. Maybe a full resto and auction on Mecum or Barrett-Jackson. You've definitely come across some worthy candidates. BH.
Great videos enjoy will they start, amazed the knowledge of a young man like yourself on these old engines, inspires me to want to go build something myself, your little dog Gus is great, I like your boat videos , you and Jen look like a nice couple !!!!!
Chris, I don't know if you know this little bit of useful knowledge but, since I never see you use it, maybe not. The tall tube sticking up at the front of lots of carbs leads straight down to the bowl and when you pour some gas down the throat you can fill the bowl too and lots of times that will get you more than just a fire and die but instead maybe a fire and run. I have used it several times. By the way on the first video of yours I watched I learned half a dozen things I didn't know about cars after 40 years of wrenching. So Thank you! Toby
One time I ran out of gas about 2 or 3 miles from a station with only a tiny bit of fuel in my emergency can, like maybe alittle more than a pint. I knew it wouldn't be enough to get picked up in the tank but by filling the bowl by drizzling it down that tube I ran about a half mile at a time to get to the gas station. I had to do it 3 or four times but made it, and didn't kill the battery either.
@@NoNonsenseKnowHow I know you just drove down and got your new work rig/ ambulance. If you are interested I’ve got a 2009 C4500 Kodiak ambulance that I’m needing to sale. Everything and I do mean everything works on it. Runs great and would make a great work rig. I was going to make it a RV but I have another little one on the way and I simply don’t have time for it now. Let me know if you are interested I can send pictures/ videos whatever you would like of it.
Love the Cuban mechanics helping out. You have a whole crew helping. As a Cuban American, I approve 🤜❤️🤛
Noting the Cuban mechanics on other sites - they are truly excellent craftsmen - and very friendly and knowledgeable

When I saw that guy handing you a Corona that made me smile. Reminded me of the first time my grandpa handed me a Corona, I was like 19 or 20.
Good morning Chris! Hello Jen and Gus , I hope that everybody is doing well. Have an awesome weekend!
That old man looked so happy when you got that beast running. That was awesome.
No better way to spend a lazy Saturday than watching NNKH try to revive an old rig! Love the videos! BH
Really love those old trucks. A look that will never be made again. BH
