This is Action mini 5" black & white TV was released in 1989.
Action mini car TV produced in 1989 made in Malaysia.
after plug the power cable (12V) there is no sound or picture.
I will disassembly it and I will check the power supply, I think the problem in power supply.
When I was young I always watch these TVs with a kind of passion, and I was wondering about this great technology that was made in the palm of my hands, That's why I love these TVs and I have a lot .of them

I can't be the only one who saw him cut off a resistor with kitchen shears then replace it with a fuse. Those aren't the same thing dude! Cosmetically though, great job. Also at the end, it helps if your SNES is turned on and playing the actual game that's on that cartridge.

@@user-gs6uu4rk6z Pretty much., TH-cam is full of fake restoration videos. He did a nice job of cleaning up this TV, but the electronics repair is temporary at best and the footage of the game at the end is totally faked.
I did not see that part.. but some fuses resemble resistors.. was it a solid color? Or did it have bands ?

I literally had this TV as a teenager in the 90s. I distinctly remember watching the USA beat Graham Taylor's England 2 nil in 93 while in my bunkbed with this on a shelf above it!

Appeared to replace high value resistor with a fuse! Simply unbelievable. Please prove me wrong. In any case fuses only blow for a reason.
I loved those old tvs. I bought one of the first handhelds in 88 when going to Texas on the bus. Watched it all the way there.
1989 I was 6 and carried around a Grey one like this ....I would watch TV in the back seat as my mom was driving awsome time

Made in Malaysia 🇲🇾 This brand was famous in my country long time ago but now the manufacturer was discontinued. I also had one but mine colour it's black bought in 2003. Now the tv was gone bcoz no one can fix it anymore 🥲 glad to seeing you fix this television from A to Z 👍

My mother had a portable black and white TV with a radio back in the early 80’s. She had it in the kitchen for a long time. Even used it in my father’s van to watched TV in the back of it. My mother did still have it before she passed away. It still did work on the radio. The TV was no use in today’s modern TVS that are out now these days.
I had the same sort of thing in fact I had 2 of them throughout the years back in the day and it was still knocking about in my mum's old house in the 00's until she sold the house and downsized a load of old junk got dashed.

Being an 90s India kid, I always thought of having a small portable television or
a device that would exist (brick game) to spend my time in car or taxi , too see this video "existed" such a product.👽
this would have been very important of a gadget for any 90s kid 💖

Memories. When I was in universally, I had a 5-inch B-W TV that I took with me everywhere. Mine also had an AM-FM radio, so I could get both cable TV and cable radio.
It looks like it Xbox 360 color to me after it’s cleaned all the parts except electronic parts! This is so good I had that in the future!
Back in 1985,86 wasn't an antique. A 1.5 inch B/W TV with a slip on magnifier..very cool. Battery or plug.

Yes, but technically a fuse is a resistor designed to deliberatly fail outside of set parameters. An odd choice of 'fix' but if it's within the specs. it should work
No minuto do video acima referido, o técnico de electrónica Xor Jony, substituiu uma resistência de proteção do circuito de processamento do sinal de Tv, por um fusível de proteção do mesmo circuito.
O fusível em vez da resistência; melhora o desempenho da mesma Tv, embora cê pode ter de abrir a mesma Tv de novo; se houver uma sobrecarga de energia em sua roulotte ou pequeno barco.

То херня....вопрос в том почему сгорел резистор...сам по себе он не горит...
резистор низкоомный и выполнял функцию предохранителя, во многих схемах есть подобное
I miss portable analog tv’s today’s digital portable TVs suck I got a small 7 inch digital tv a year after hurricane sandy that can only pick up 3 channels no matter if I moved to different rooms or even outside it could only pick up 3 channels took it to a different area 2 miles away and still no more than 3 channels one in polish one in Korean and one in Spanish smdh
