For a minute there I did not believe you that it was a lighter - never saw something like it but it was definitely deserving of restoration. Enjoyed it and the outcome is stunning!
About ten years ago I started collecting lighter’s and I have one of these tv ones exactly the same but mine is gotten very rusty. But thanks to you and your fantastic skills I think I am going to have a go at restoring it. Thank you for showing me how it’s done. Excellent at wot you do love watching your channel 👍👍👍😊😊😊♥️
My grandpa had a walkie talkie looking one that this kind of reminds me of. But it wasn't nearly as detailed as this little TV. This is definetly cool as hell. Bonus if it actually worked when TV signals were still analog! 😆
2 ingenious tricks in this restoration... Using heat shrink tubing to mask the wick from the primer and the mason jar sand tumbler. Absolute Genius! Excellent job!
When I saw the thumbnail for this video, I thought at first this was a Sony TV from the 1960’s. My dad won a TV way back when that looked very much like this lighter. Obviously, the lighter is modeled after that Sony TV. Excellent restoration!
A TV lighter, I think I've seen it all now. Beautiful repair and tune up on it. A really cool item. Love the picture of your pitcher duck for the screen.
AMAZING.., extremely well done.. the other restoration videos don’t even come close, and makes some of them look like a joke! Can you restore a beetle car and wagon! Would love to see it
Wow just came across your video. I have this in perfect condition sitting in my homemade Barbie dollhouse. Had no idea it was a lighter. Just thought it was for old slides! Lol
I own this very same lighter. It came from my grandmothers home. It no longer has an antenna but is is still otherwise functioning. I will continue to love it the way it is for now.
I restored a 1940s lighter for a friend who was an antique dealer it was a pilot holding a propeller but when you moved his head the flame appeared. The body was cracked so it took a fair bit of time to rebuild him. Luckily after restoration it sold for a reasonable amount in just a few days.
Oh! I didn't realize how tiny it was from the thumbnail! I thought it was an old CRT TV with a built-in lighter somewhere... Which seemed kind of silly, but cars used to have built-in lighters, so it kind of made sense in a way? A TV-shaped lighter makes more sense hahaha. That's ok, I love restorations and tiny things, so this was a very good video.
G'day and greetings from Tasmania Australia 🇦🇺 well seen it all now a TV lighter, Top restoration a lot of small parts and how you work out what goes ware it was great and interesting to watch especially because I have never seen one. Terrific job kind regards Joh
Love the lighter. Haven't ever seen one of these, even the Gentleman who collects lighters I don't believe he has one and I may be wrong. But when you came to mixing the white and the blush both good years I think, did their work well. I really enjoyed watching you do this it was Awesome Thank you for Sharing this.
This is the cutest of things to be restored! What an item! My first of your videos. Restorations make winters easier. Thank you. Now to the rest of your videos :D
Good job as always and very interesting. I also saw in this video a lot of improvement, very clever! Don't forget about trains restoration !! Greetings from Italy. 🚂 🇮🇹

My grandfather had one of these. Used to play the radio all the time when I was little back in the sixties.
Glad it brings back good memories 📻 📻 📻
I love it! Funny that with today's technology, you could turn this into a working TV without much difficulty - while keeping the lighter!
That would be just great !! 😃👍🏻
I was kinda surprised he didn’t do that but still it’s an amazing result.
It's not a "working" TV
Why ?

When did plastic and glass started getting rust.. surprisingly only outer cover got rust.. and inner components are not that rusty.. Great work...
