Holly cow, now that I became a mom of two boys, I’ve been trying to learn and so far I couldn’t find good videos until now, I also saw your video of a cut with scissors medium length which is the style my husband likes (I hvent practice on him but after watching your video I might try) THANK YOUUUUU from south texas🫡
You are most welcome. I have a series of masterclasses in the members sections you might also find useful. They are aimed at learners. You are more than welcome to join
You would definitely benefit from the members section here if you are just learning. There are some very interesting detail cutting classes aimed at learners.
Thank you for this video, I have been cutting my husband’s hair for years and have been holding the scissors wrong all this time. I am a lefty which can also be challenging. I want to buy some better scissors, should I get left handed ones or is there no difference?
I've been enjoying your tutorials. Thank You for taking your time to share your knowledge with us. Do you have any specific brands of shears that we can purchase on ebay or Amazon that will do a great job but won't break the bank? 🙂👍
I’ve never found anything on Amazon worth buying I’ve got to be honest. When I first started out I used jaguar scissors that the college gave me and they weren’t too bad.
The scissor supplier you mentioned in the video, who is it? And, if different from the supplier, what brand of scissors do you use? BTW, your videos are outstanding, and we are big fans of your work. Thank you!
Love this tutorial...good information

This is useful, thanks. One thing you forgot to mention is the different scissor lengths, how to choose one or which might be the best.
I use two, a 6 inch and a 7 inch, the 6 is for slicing and chipping in plus general cutting. The 7 is for scissor over comb, and blending.

You are so welcome! If you are left handed I’d stick with left handed but they are a bit harder to find.
