After the first time my wife cut my hair following your tutorial, I received 3 compliments from others on how well my hair looked. This is the first time after having my hair cut by professionals for 55 years I have ever received any compliments! So my wife is very good at it, but could not have done it without you!

    Thank you so very much.
My son is on the autism spectrum and has had a lot of issues with hair cutting. I let him watch this several times on his own and with me.
(I was scared to just wing it too)
We ordered a set of baber kit and off we go.
It went so smoothly. I think he looks sharp.
Thanks also to your models. In our case, I think it helped my son see peers and recognize that they looked like the other boys at school. Some of the adult videos with gents in beards were a little too mature for him to relate. So serendipity to find this.
This was perfect. Easy to follow for a newbie like me. Thanks

That's brilliant Ashlee, don't worry too much if it's not perfect. Sometimes it takes about ten cuts before it becomes easy, and it's also tricky doing kids as they are moving targets. Hope it turns out ok.

A lot of people say that about this video. I think this method of cutting is ideally suited to children with autism and especially with any kind of sensory issue as lifting the hair with the scissors is probably the least invasive way to cut.

These videos are invaluable for me!
I studied barbering in Cyprus but a lot of context was missing as I learned in a mix of my terrible Greek and their broken English.
Many of my clients and friends all wanted the same haircut (no.1 low/medium fade with a little off the top) so having this chance to get a refresher is fantastic!
I cannot thank you enough for this and I will be recommending your channel to some of my friends as well.

@@theoneminutebarber Honestly mate, I've been looking for other sources for learning, picking up new techniques and understanding the "why" behind some of them and I am beyond delighted to have found you. Everyone else on youtube works too fast and says too little which was the same issue I had with my tutors. This is a great video! The visual graphics, attention to detail, and methodical voice over are informative and impressive. If you swapped the background music for audio of the water mister and scissor sounds via a wrist mic, this would go viral in ASMR communities.

I have dabbled a bit with asmr, but the truth is it's a lot harder than I thought, the first video there was traffic noise and a drill going next door, I thought it would be ok but it sounded terrible. I spent three days trying to clean it up.

Thank you for this tutorial, I find it very helpful and very well explained. I’ve been cutting my 4 yo’s hair to mostly just keep it out of his eyes, but I think he will need a better haircut in the future so next time I’ll try to cut it as you’ve shown here, as I much prefer this look for young kids over the closed cropped haircuts using clippers.

I am so kicking myself right now. I hadn't cut hair in years as all my boys are grown, but I cut my grandsons hair today (attempted a fade for the first time), and I wasn't happy with the outcome. It wasn't horrible, but a bit too short and not to my satisfaction.
I wish I had seen this video before I started. I really like how you used the scissors and comb instead of your fingers for the back. Anyway, great video and I'll be brushing up on my skills that hadn't been used in ages lol. I'm a new subscriber.

That's awesome Dandy. It's not the usual starting place but works really well with kids as they are getting it cut without hair falling all over their face at the start.

Your cutting is so neat and beautiful, I like this style very much! Especially is the front on the top, the fringe length and their curves are so nice! Thank you very much for your professional teaching!

Your instruction are very helpful for me to have myself hair cut, the only thing I feel very difficult is the first guide line on the top of the hair, it is so hard for me to get the section for me to cut the guide line on top of my head in front of the mirror. 😅😅

I just had a cut like this today, it came out decent but in the end sectioning and control could have made it way better. Watching this video (after the haircut from today) has taught me so much and I can’t wait to put these techniques to use. Thank you for this video very very helpful!

I like your work my friend. You keep it tight and to the point. I also like the way you keep it one step at a time with simple explanations. I look at Regal Gentlemen also. Both of you guys are really great barbers. Nice work dude!

Excellent lesson. Trimming son's hair is not an easy task for me so trying to improve. Thank you for your help. I'm going to get a barber's comb. Need to wait for son's hair to grow again for my next attempt.

I just cut my 2 year old sons hair using this technique. It took an hour and turned out pretty good. He would not let a barber touch his head 🙈so thank you for your easy-to-follow tutorials.

Such a smooth hand working, everything from the transitions to the way you use the scissors to everything, I found it hard with the explanation of my mentor tbh since he is also an old barber on the field but everything became clear now that I saw this video mashallah keep going man.

I’ve being cutting my boys hair and the upper part and front is always my challenge (not terrible but I ended up not knowing what I did). Tomorrow is his spring picture and I decided to try again…this video gave me more confidence…please pray for me! 🥲

      @theoneminutebarber  ปีที่แล้ว

I'll pray for you but I think the second time around will be better. Just take your time and keep your sections small. Don't have too much hair in the comb. You can do it 💪

In barber school they taught to start at the bottom and work up. I found it difficult ans always struggled with scissor lines. This looks much better. Thank you 😊
