- It took forever(actually my longest flight ever)
sorry for the bad sound quality...sometimes it gets a little better. it seems the iphone micro had some issues with the strong wind and the very quiet protos!
after that flight I was completely done...

I discovered the MSH Protos, 11 years ago, and i newer got to own one.
Now i have a 770x Evo in transit. :-) And i do actually have high expectations.
I really like the way they look, and the way it's constructed.

I have a chance to buy a used Protos 770 Evo, (also the 700 carbon boom) I wasn't sure but maybe I need to look at this again. What is the equivalent gear number to use in a head speed calculator?
I had a 380kv motor with the biggest pulley and maybe 50-60% throttle
Love it! Is a 12 setup or you are runing a paralel setup? I'm flying my Logo 600 Rt 610 blades with 10s 5000 about 10 mins at 1400 - 1600 rpm...
hey :) it's a 12S Lipo pack with 980RPM :D
@@GrimesRic so what did you do to achieve such a low rpm on 12s? lowered throttle?
@@carsonpoland use a small pinion and only 40% or so opening on the esc
Better to use a lower kv and smallest pinion

hey pete! i can share you my setting but... it really depends on the heli and your own flying style/preference! I run 760mm blades so the heli was pretty "slow" or better "not very agile" so in the vbar in went with: Expo 30 on ts, 50 on tail, agility 115, style 105, lightness 10 (increases the overall pitch!). rpm was 980! pitch +12,5 -12,5
