My only Suggestion: If you want to visualize what you are reading, you should watch Mahabharat OLD or New as per your choice. Especially the Bhagvat Geeta Episodes. Starting from Krishna visiting as a Peace Negotiator to Kauravas Side. The episodes are in Hindi but have English subtitles. Otherwise, you will miss the grandeur.

@@nationlist9247 I get what you mean....... But having it in the Drama format is actually better than not having one. It's similar to "The Game of Thrones " effect. Everybody watches the show but only a select percentage of that actually reads " Song of ice and fire ". So I think that watching it in the Drama format, for the uninformed audience is better than reading it directly as it will be easier to digest and if they really are into the Theological aspect of " Mahabharat " then they could visit the books.

My guru always says you can never do meditation; it's not an act, but you can become meditative. Meditation is a quality; it is like the blossoming of a flower. If you want flowers in your garden, you don't have to think about them. You just have to focus on the soil, sunlight, and water and nurture the roots, and flowers will come.

"City of nine gates" refers to 9 holes in the body. In a metaphorical way, the sense organs are only a gate way of the world in a body that is the city, and the resident, the pure SELF or the ATMAN is the real you.

    • @prasannabelkale5202

Yet another powerful metaphor in Indian examples is of the "boat with nine holes" that is set on a mission to cross the river. The sense organs are wasteful. The boatman that is the rider is praying to Krishna to help him control his senses to help him cross the river without the boat drowning

Materialism ISN’T bad at all according to Geeta or other Sanatan Dharma texts. Four goals in life according to Geeta are dharma( righteousness), aartha (money, resources, etc…), kaam(desire), and moksha (salvation). i.e obtain as many material things as possible but with righteousness. Having said that, it’s important not to ‘attach’ yourself to those resources otherwise greed(bad desire) enters your life. And if that ‘bad’ desire is not fulfilled, anger comes next, that anger takes out your rational thought faculties, losing which, you lose your sense of right or wrong. Once that is lost, you are basically a deer in headlights. Ciao🤘🏻

My ONLY Suggession ( out of My Concern, ofcourse) is :
For every popular thing/event/deed , there will be DO's & DON'Ts , as all of us are aware.
Since the popularity is increasing , especially the West is having interest and inclination towards these Sanathana Dharma books and knowledge, there are authors who are publishing books WITH THEIR OWN "SELF-PERCEIVED" Commentaries, which NEED NOT Be True , sometimes half-truth , and sometimes, totally false.
Hence, Please DO READ ONLY those books from Gita Press , ISKCON and the like.
So, how to know which ones are the ORIGINAL BOOKS ( without self-interpretations by some which are NOT necessarily correct), the following Guidelines should help.
    (1) Ramayana by SAGE VALMIKI ---- sage Valmiki is the Original Sage who lived during the time of Rama and authored this Ramayana.
    (2) Mahabharatha by sage VYASA
    (3) VYASA WROTE MANY OTHER BOOKS ALSO . VYASA is an author whose books are ORIGINALs.
Some of SAGE VYASA'S OTHER BOOKS ARE :
    VISHNU PURANA
    SIVA PURANA
etc. etc. the books whose titles end with PURANA (& AUTHORED BY VYASA)
    ***************************************************************************************************
ONE VERY IMPORTANT POINT IS : PLEASE DO NOT take books by AMIT TRIPATHI , he wrote books like SIVA TRILOGY etc. WITH HIS OWN-PERCEIVED INTERPRETATIONS, SOME OF THAT CONTENT WAS NOT EVEN HALF-TRUTH, BUT ENTIRELY FALSE.
    BE CAUTIONED ON THIS.
    ***************************************************************************************************

You can get rid of ignorance with knowledge. With knowledge you learn Param Atma is the eternal reality. And everything material is temporary illusion. Then you will never chose something far inferior and will forever stay above all actions, results of actions and everything related to material world. That's when you truly attain liberation and merge yourself with God

The Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is living within the body of a living entity, is the controller of all living entities all over the universe. The body consists of nine gates: two eyes, two nostrils, two ears, one mouth, the anus and the genital.
Note: This explanation I got from Prabhupada's commentary on Bhagwad Gita.

Seeing you in other creatures is Animalism. It's Advaita.
2 lines that are really famous which gives the full meaning of Advaita :
    1. Aham Brahmasmi (Aham Brahm-asmi)
Means : I am Brahm (God).
The Atman in me is part of the Paramatma(the Supreme Soul). And it translates to everything.
    2. Tathwamasi (Tath - Twam-Asi)
    Means : That is you.
Whatever you see, whatever you seek(Truth-God) all that is you yourself. Same way whatever you see around is also part of that Paramatma.
That is Advaita- The Non-Dualism. It advocates everything in this world is part of the ONE.
    P. S : This just a simple explanation. The Complete Philosophy is too deep for me to explain.

New Office Feedback: 🙏🙏🙏 I mean this in the humblest way possible. The blue light on the back hurts the viewers eyes. But just to confirm - you could rewatch this video? The lighting on yourself is too dark.
I personally have a thing with ‘balance’ the bookshelf on one side and the green light on the other makes things look off-centre? Maybe bring a shelf to directly behind you and two half shelves/cabinets on either side? Or two long plants on either side? And another green light for the other side as well?
Too many different colours might look “too cluttered” because the wall is also coloured. Perhaps might have looked good on a white/light wall?
This may sound too nitpicky 🙏 but might you consider using the colours “Bhagwa” or “kesari”? These colours are closely associated with Sanatan Dharm similar to green being associated with Islam, red with communism and white with Christianity.
I’m ranting here and I don’t even know if you will see this comment!
