    4:45 if jinx hadn't tried to kill xerath that escape would be great for lillia because now she can invade enemy blue imo.

    Question, shouldn’t the jinx look for a bounce back after crashing the wave? This will enable her engage support to look for an engage on their side of the map at level 3

    What about level 2 with engage suport if they allow you to push shouldn't you push for 2 and try to engage?

  • @babaspector
    @babaspector 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    4:40 they were ganked near their own tower in the "passive farming" area. and they wouldn't even have to use summoners if they tried to disengage from the gank. not sure it's the best example of being ganked when going agressive. it does show how nautilus was wasting his time because of the wave placement.

    • @Omnilatent
      @Omnilatent 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You miss the point: This would not have been gankable if they didn't push the lane for no reason

    • @babaspector

      @@Omnilatent it wasn't gankable at the time of the gank. they just gave the kills for no reason.

      It also said later that they should’ve just gotten a minion advantage instead of pushing into tower, but that would still be aggressive compared to passive. With a naut vs xer, that lvl 2 spike is huge but if they’re at tower then yeah ofc that’s too aggressive. That extreme like if the passive option was them standing at the edge of exp range and not last hitting to stay safe

    HI, While as a random challenger eune top off meta enjoyer; I agree with the video, I can see tho many huge positives from jinx positioning and plan, especially as a smurf ADC, playing around securing an early level advantage, valuing independence a lot: I am a low micro player and I pay a lot of attention on what I would love to do with a wave.
    And I would choose a similar wave strategy as her while smurfing vs plat ADC supp and while having the most egrill duo slave nautilus world because:
    - enemies won't execute a perma freeze because they have never experienced it! I sware that, vs 2 ranged enemies as ADC with melee support a smurf can free shoot on each of them even 1 by 1, BCS of how insanely bad their spacing skills are.
    -reksai might be 1 minute late with clear BCS it's low elo -
    even if you have a bad, potentially enemy-perma-freezable wave, up to diamond adcs play random wave management, and even if they enter challenger-wet-dream wave state, they will ruin it as an accident, without even realizing it.
    -. Melee champs to be a threat need to be healthy and save resources. This can be good if you don't want to have 0 hp nautilus that will hug a turret vs poke bot. He will get frustrated, walk into Caitlyn's traps, and eat a lot of poke. ALL POKE to be exact.
    Ppl are very emotional about early mistakes, and its better to have nervous kill-hungry-bored-nautilus than flamer-AFK-inter-turret-hugger
    - jinx nautilus is not an *actual* kill lane, and "castrating" nautilus gameplan might be good for soloq consistency. catching enemies level 1 or 2 doesn't have to be clean and easy, especially when playing against the wave. Missed hook into a minion or wall can make naut lose a lot of health. IK that nautilus is turbo strong lvl 1, but if this nautilus was executing his level 1 power consistently he wouldn't be silver, right?.
    What I want to say, is that it's sometimes worth to kill support's agency on purpose, when smurfing BCS he just won't handle it. -
    - jinx naturally outscales cait and xerath, but she also needs a lot of complete items in this game to be a versatile all-in 1 champ.
    silver Nautilus won't protect you from Leblanc mid so you will need wits end as 2nd or 3d item. Reksai might make flash knockup late so GA/ randuin/stopwatch/ shieldbow/galeforce would be so precious.
    I wouldn't even think of dreaming that silver nautilus will allow me to play more aggressive build than idk shieldbow/galeforce + berserkers/mercs+ rapidfire+ wits end +bloodthirster randuin/GA build *
    I am aware that this is total disrepect for all 3 enemies, and 0 trust to nautilus. But if I was duo boosting (not coaching) as jinx, if this game was my job, and I had to make 10 net wins with this nautilus troll in 1 day, bcs otherwise I would earn too little money to play league for the living
    *ok if nautilus cait xerath and were challenger I would like to play aggressive- freeze and at some point give up wave, let wave crash and bounce during expected-reksai-gank-timestamp, so she wastes 1000 years on bot.
    *But this is smurf queue reality, botlane players are bad beyond imagination, and expecting enemies to play properly is naive and allies to play good extremely dangerous. It's very important rule to force enemies not allies when smurfing, otherwise ur team will int you, and you will int enemies.
    PS as smurf nautilus I would be giga scared atm and start thinking about how to achieve a good wave or roam after her respawn. I am pretty sure that in hector challenge-vids, he abused "force enemies not allies when smurfing" and "limited trust" rules a *** lot***

  • @SparkasmTV

    I think your jinx example is really off. First off you should never really be letting a poke lane push you back, you should always be trying to stop them from pushing you in so you don’t get poked. Second jinx would have been completely fine but she’s a moron and decided to try and outplay the gank. Third, she should be going for a 3 wave crash into a cheater recall. And finally the rek’sai gank is so bad it’s not even funny, that gank should never work and lillia should just get free camps from his blue side. I think you did a bit too much hindsight heroing on this example.

    • @tomsjoberg8746
      @tomsjoberg8746 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah i agree with the Jinx example being off. The enemy Cait and Xerath's goal should be to push and trade and then poke under tower. Especially because of their range and their abilities also goes through the wave. Also if Jinx plays passively and gets shoved then Nautilus has a hard time to engage as well, because of wave blocking his Q, they will probably be at a health disadvantage too, with a wave at the tower. Should the Nautilus engage and have the adc tank the wave with a health disadvantage? Doesn't make sense.

    • @armon2681
      @armon2681 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@tomsjoberg8746 the play would be to freeze the wave close to tower nd use Jinx Q to gain HP advantage, tricky matchup but very doable, its a game of who can poke better, the pressure is more so on Jinx and Nautilus tho, since they need a lot more mistakes frm Cait nd Xerath to stomp lane, whereas Cait nd Xerath just need to get free poke with Q and W

    Win early game fights. Have 40+ farm over other adc.
    Jungler doesn't gank or go for objectives, middle plays passive and lets enemy ahri roam and top riven is 0/0/0 with equal farm.

    Honestly i feel like the tip from the Jinx example is really off. The goal for Xerath and Cait should be to push so that they can fully utilize their range and poke. If Jinx and Nautilus is passive with the wave at their tower it will also be harder for nautilus to engage because of the extra wave damage, as well with the enemy wave blocking his Q ability. They will also probably be at a HP disadvantage because of poke

      Bot lane is slower than any other roles . Because it’s main area of competence is to secure dragon , jungler level up , and bot laners act as a reserve for the last phase of the game . While top and mid are duelling for most of the game , jungler is the one who determines the speed of victory in most cases . Both laners are the long term plans .
