    This is one of the most informative bowling ball reviews I have watched. You actually explain the reaction you're seeing rather than the cut and paste "This ball is cleaner through the front and stronger in the back end than older balls" that other reviewers tend to use.

      Thank you! Pass it along to your fellow bowlers. We are trying to do something different to everything else out there. Goal is to really break down the ball reaction and provide honest feedback.

    This is actually the best video review that I have seen. You actually explained clearly the pros and cons of the ball and showed shots that worked and shots that didn't. Most other so called reviews are just a video of some super high rev guy throwing strikes. About the only thing that could possibly make this better is showing multiple rev rate bowlers using the tested ball as most bowlers do not have the rev rate of the shown bowler. Well done guys!

    I found one of these in the rental section and took it home, I’ve never hooked balls, only straight shot, but due to the placement of the holes I might try learning to hook with this

      Have your pro shop redrill it for you.

      I don’t mind learning to hook with 2 hands, I feel like I don’t get enough power with just a one handed straight shot, I’m only 110 lbs lol

    You should review the sure lock when it comes out. That would be great. Thank you.

    Nice video!! I would like to touch on something though. First off, strong asymm cored balls are naturally going to want to read the middle part of the lane, have a strong hooking motion then role forward. If anyone remembers the original paradigm and the paradigm passion which I still have one, those balls were something else. This lock and snap lock remind me of the rad + core found in the paradigm series that started it all for storm, well after the rad core first found in the x-factor series :). The motion is very similar. Here's the problem, anytime you drill a strong asymm cored ball like this one in the video with anything longer than a 4 1/2" pin to pap coupled with low tilt and mediumish rotation the motion described starting @ 3:30 is exactly what is going to happen. A shorter pin to pap of 3 1/2 - 3" to pap would of been much better with the 45 * val angle since dual angles is used here which is appropriate. I see this time and time again, if a ball doesn't have the big booming backend no one wants to even look at it and that right there is bad marketing because once some oil on a house shot goes away a bit (how many people understand even what a house shot is or where the oil actually is?), the ball as an example in this video turns into over under big time. Try a "65 x 3 1/4 x 45" on this ball (just for this person in the video) and you'll see the difference. It will have better continuation and not want to hook stop like in the video.

      Or, you could try something like a 75 x 3 x 40.

    If anybody remembers the Vertigo, how would anything on the market today compare to it? I still haven't found something comparable.

    • @subibowler
      @subibowler 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I do as I have 2 of them, 1 I am throwing and 1 I am about to drill up. If looking from storm, the alpha crux, (will have to choose layout wisely using the dual angle layout method for best results), maybe a radical guru supreme with a slightly more tame layout, a radical red ridiculous asymm with a long n strong layout might work pending your specs. Maybe a hammer black widow nasty? Remember, the covers of today are stronger than when the storm vertigo came out.

    R3S Pearl isn't really new...yes, it is in the US but was featured in the Domination X about 5-6 years ago overseas.

      +TamerBowling no problem. Be on the lookout for some reviews from myself and some of my friends as we will be reviewing some of the gear from overseas as well as a Third Dimension from me which features a hybrid version of the Snap Lock cover! :)

    How does this compare to Code Black, Code Red and Intense?

    • @TamerBowling
      @TamerBowling  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      KineKlei pretty close to the Intense. Same cover, similar strength core. Snap Lock has a little more snap down lane. Code red is weaker and much smoother. Code black is longer and about as snappy.

    This ball kinda burned up early few times in video n rolled out could be for his lack of axis rotation tho

      Honestly, I'm really interested to see how close the Attention Star might be. I still have a Snap Lock as I haven't quite found anything like it.

    So when are you gonna find someone who can throw these balls up and in? Not everyone has this much hand in the ball and these videos aren't very helpful for people who throw a shot that starts right of the 20.

      @aidenjaxlol 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      so true....it's like everyone who does reviews all throw the same... it's old let's see some down and in reaction with lower revs

      I got the Snap Lock a couple weeks ago and I toss down and in....man I love it.....holds long than that snap roll right into the pocket. The driller let me toss a practice game to see how I rolled, and drilled the Snap Lock accordingly. First time bowling in 8 years and already at average after 5 wks league bowling. At this rate I think I might finally avg 200 or better by years end....
