I gotta say, your reviews are TOP NOTCH. You give a very detailed analysis and are spot on everytime! I have no intention of purchasing a new ball (yet) but your reviews are just that good! Keep it up!!!
Guys I got this ball yesterday morning and drilled immediately after I got it in being that I drill balls I've thrown a ton of equipment. This is by far my new favorite ball and has a shape and roll like I've never had before. Storm has really done something great with this ball. If you don't have one I highly suggest getting it
You all are doing the best review work one the tube. Good work. Like this ball and ordered it after the test session this past week and look forward to throwing it soon.
I just got this ball Wednesday and I already love this tryerd it out during league bowling and got 227 left two handed bowling is how bowl it’s working great so far
Just picked one up an Intense. Out of the gate I shot 684. Couple of bad shots on my part. Missed 2 spares. Missed my target 3 times to the right and all 3 times it came back and struck.
I just purchased a code Red. My pro drilled it with the pin in the middle of my finger holes. 1" up. I have noticed recently that several professionals on tour, men and women are using this layout.. My Intense is drilled 1" up over my ring finger. My question to you is, my pro says these 2 bowling balls are good 1,2 punch. I asked him if my code Red is the next hy-road. He said definitely not. This code Red is still strong for me. My pin to pap is 4x11/16.. My avg. is 186. Thank you..
TheShadow Knows the virtual gravity was a solid and the Intense is a strong pearl. I still think it would be an interesting piece to replace with. You might want to wait to look at the Hyper Cell Fused which is a hybrid. We’ll be testing the soon.
It's really strange how I can be so excited about a new bowling ball? My totally difiant is a killer ball. I have a 186avg. It comes off the edge and destroys the pins. I'm a tweener, any suggestions.. Our lanes are Medium oil..
Hi.. Can you please tell me the difference between Intense and Sure lock? I'm looking to buy one of them and not sure which one to get.. I want something that pushes in medium oil and gives me a big hook in the end.. I would like to play slightly deeper angles.
James Bond Intense is strong but definitely longer and more backend than the sure lock. Much more likely to work on what you described than the sure lock.
Are you talking about the yellow marking on the ball? This is the center of gravity of the ball. Every ball has a "pin" which is a solid circle at the top of the core and a "CG" which is the center of gravity for the ball. In the case of an asymmetric core like this there is also a mass bias further down which indicates that the core is not equal on all sides. It creates a bigger imbalance, making the ball have a harder less smooth transition, relatively speaking.
Dam, liking the curve on the ball. Sure making it hard to choose this or Marvel. either smooth or intense thru the pins. Thank you again for the review.
I’m speaking overall. Without taking consideration of rev rate and speed and all the bowler based stats which would you prefer based on the cover stock and other stats
You really can not "choose" a ball without saying what you are looking for. Intense is stronger, earlier and more punch down lane. Code Red has more control and in my mind easier to use on more patterns. You choose based on putting those characteristics against the bowler and conditions you are facing.
Honestly, the black widow gold is quickly becoming one of my favorite balls of all time. It's a little "less" cover than the Intense so they would be nice compliments. So if you want "more" ball, the Intense is a bit more. On the same sport pattern though, I found the gold easier to use and more forgiving.
If you already have them, then maybe the Intense is a nice compliment to what you have already. For me, the black widow gold is a must. It's a staple in my arsenal. Considering the amount of balls we test, that's saying something.
Looking for a new ball. 2 hand bowler with high revs. Should I pick up the Intense or Timeless? Friends of mine that bowl say timeless but I'm still not sure.
TamerBowling I have one of my friends old balls. Not very high end or good. I would like a ball that hooks a lot and hits hard. Been trying to get my revs and speed up so the ball needs to be able to handle that too. Usually when we bowl league the lanes are pretty oily. Probably medium to heavy. I typically have to wipe my ball off after a couple of frames because of the oil it picks up
TamerBowling I believe it is some Brunswick ball. Maybe Stirke King? Idk really. I've been using my friends timeless recently as mine just doesn't perform well on the heavier oil patterns we have.
Imran Kz start with 4000 abralon and work your way down until you find the desired reaction. Next would be 3000, 2000, 1000, 500. On a normal house shot I doubt you will need to get past 2000 but you never know.
Imran Kz I think they are quite different but those differences are more obvious to me as I look at nuances. Motiv and Storm have different rolls generally speaking. Storm is quicker response to friction. The ghost is a smooth but strong motion. Relative to each other the ghost will be smoother and earlier rolling. The ghost is also a solid while the Intense is a pearl which accentuates the difference.
Again, it really depends on what you prefer. They both hook quite a bit but they do it differently. Intense likes more oil so it's like a torque monster, heavy roll. The Timeless will cover a lot of boards on medium conditions. Check out our Timeless video to compare. th-cam.com/video/XMs5rb4GRho/w-d-xo.html
Honestly that's really hard to say since we have not tested the Creed. Generally we find Brunswick/DV8 ball reaction to be quite different and not as quick reacting to friction as Storm, although DV8 is a little closer.
If you have speed and you bowl on a higher volume pattern, it would be ok. If you throw it slow or the pattern is somewhat drier, the Intense will be difficult to use.
David Martinez marvel pearl would be fantastic. Code red would be a good option as well. Both will be more controllable than the Intense if your speed is a bit slower.
Yeah, interesting from that perspective it might appear so. He actually finishes within an inch of the line all the time...and occasionally fouls :-) I don't think he actually fouled once during the filming. A lot of pros also finish quite close to the line.
its all muscle memory after a while, you can time yourself to finish touching the dots right before the foul line, just need to get the feel for slide if you change alleys
Your reviews have easily become my favorite. Very analytical which I appreciate!
Thank you! Please share with your friends and spread the word!
Best damn ball on the market right now .
I gotta say, your reviews are TOP NOTCH. You give a very detailed analysis and are spot on everytime! I have no intention of purchasing a new ball (yet) but your reviews are just that good! Keep it up!!!
Kaden Foulds thank you!

I just watched the video and this ball will be in my bag tonight starting our 2nd half league. Thank you so much..
Alan Merrill good luck!
Nice review Tamer, I never get tired of seeing Guy rev it up!
You all are doing the best review work one the tube. Good work. Like this ball and ordered it after the test session this past week and look forward to throwing it soon.
Thanks!
I still have this ball! Still love it

I have used a vitural gravity for 5+ years and am looking to get a new ball. Would this be a good replacement?
TheShadow Knows the virtual gravity was a solid and the Intense is a strong pearl. I still think it would be an interesting piece to replace with. You might want to wait to look at the Hyper Cell Fused which is a hybrid. We’ll be testing the soon.
TamerBowling awesome the was the other one I was looking at but waiting for it to come out for reviews.
TheShadow Knows yeah if you could wait a few weeks, we’ll have it reviewed.
Can I get your opinion on the Brunswick Black Quantum?
It's really strange how I can be so excited about a new bowling ball? My totally difiant is a killer ball. I have a 186avg. It comes off the edge and destroys the pins. I'm a tweener, any suggestions.. Our lanes are Medium oil..

@@TamerBowling Thank You for replying..You guys are the best!
What the IS circle with like overlapping lines mean. I have it a solid circle and another circle with lines I don't know what it is
Not sure what you are referring to.
TamerBowling it's like a circle with a tiny dot it looks like fan or something
TamerBowling at 2:06 it's on the ball in the middle shifted to the left

What about the intense fire and I love how detailed you guys are about your videos
Coming soon...stay tuned!
I'm bought, buying one next week!
I've been waiting for this ball review
The special code popped up and it scared the crap out of me with my earbuds in 😂
can we get a slow motion view of guy's release? nice video as always.
Sure, at some point we can do that.
is this the same Guy that just shot 847 with two 300s back-to-back?
odellus yes sir. I called it in the video didn't I...
indeed you did, what a monster.
Ya gauntlet fury please ..u do best reviews your voice overs are top notch and needed instead of just seeing strikes w music
CleSwag24 hang tight. We will be testing the gauntlet fury shortly.
Would love to hear the fury compared to the intense
I don't think we'll do a direct comparison in a video but I will be happy to comment on it in the video once we test.
Dam, liking the curve on the ball. Sure making it hard to choose this or Marvel. either smooth or intense thru the pins. Thank you again for the review.
I need your help. Would you choose a storm intense over a storm code red?
I’m speaking overall. Without taking consideration of rev rate and speed and all the bowler based stats which would you prefer based on the cover stock and other stats

I am a lefty with similar revs and speed as you . What rolled better for you on ths black widow gold or the intense? Thanks your reviews are the best
TamerBowling thank you for the reply and opinion . The black widows have been a staple of mine since the assassin .

Looking for a new ball. 2 hand bowler with high revs. Should I pick up the Intense or Timeless? Friends of mine that bowl say timeless but I'm still not sure.
What do you have now? What reaction do you want? What are you bowling on? Heavy, medium, light conditions?
TamerBowling I have one of my friends old balls. Not very high end or good. I would like a ball that hooks a lot and hits hard. Been trying to get my revs and speed up so the ball needs to be able to handle that too. Usually when we bowl league the lanes are pretty oily. Probably medium to heavy. Ian Keller which ball are you using?
TamerBowling I believe it is some Brunswick ball. Maybe Stirke King? Idk really. I've been using my friends timeless recently as mine just doesn't perform well on the heavier oil patterns we have.
TamerBowling I just checked again and it is a strike king.
What do you mean by adding a surface to make it a beast? Sanding it or polishing it?
Imran Kz sanding this ball made it ridiculously strong.
TamerBowling what is your suggestion that would be the appropriate sanding? Thinking of sanding it down due to my lack of rev rate
Imran Kz start with 4000 abralon and work your way down until you find the desired reaction. Next would be 3000, 2000, 1000, 500. On a normal house shot I doubt you will need to get past 2000 but you never know.
TamerBowling nicee, thank you for the recommendation, will update soon. Anyway, do you think Motiv Jackal Ghost is comparable to Intense?
Imran Kz I think they are quite different but those differences are more obvious to me as I look at nuances. Motiv and Storm have different rolls generally speaking. Storm is quicker response to friction. The ghost is a smooth but strong motion. Relative to each other the ghost will be smoother and earlier rolling. The ghost is also a solid while the Intense is a pearl which accentuates the difference.
Can you review the brunswick kingpin?
What's the difference between the intense and the snaplock ???
They are pretty similar but the Snap Lock would make a touch faster transition.
TamerBowling I got the snaplock like in April I think but I shot a new high today of 288 in the first game of highschool season this year
I'm a two hander with a slower speed. Would you recommend the timeless or the intense?
Again, it really depends on what you prefer. They both hook quite a bit but they do it differently. Intense likes more oil so it's like a torque monster, heavy roll. The Timeless will cover a lot of boards on medium conditions. Check out our Timeless video to compare. th-cam.com/video/XMs5rb4GRho/w-d-xo.html
Thanks so much! I already saw the Timeless video, and I think I'll go with the timeless.
does sean use a thumb or is he thumbless? also what do you mean by a solid type ball?
Ducksauce Sean uses his thumb.
thanks
How do you think this would compare to the creed.
Honestly that's really hard to say since we have not tested the Creed. Generally we find Brunswick/DV8 ball reaction to be quite different and not as quick reacting to friction as Storm, although DV8 is a little closer.
Would storm Intense be to much ball for a 2 handed bowler no thumb?
If you have speed and you bowl on a higher volume pattern, it would be ok. If you throw it slow or the pattern is somewhat drier, the Intense will be difficult to use.
Ok so what ball would be good Marvel Pearl - Code red - Timeless?
David Martinez marvel pearl would be fantastic. Code red would be a good option as well. Both will be more controllable than the Intense if your speed is a bit slower.
So i'm guessing you need a lot of speed to roll a asymmetric balls?
I don't know if u did it yet but can u do the hy-road
Probably when we do the HyRoad Nano, we'll have the HyRoad as well.
The code isn't working
Can u do the hammer black widow red legend
That ball is discontinued now. We will focus on future releases.
TamerBowling is it because it is too old
Yes. It's not available anymore.
TamerBowling wait is it not avalible for sale ?
You may be able to find them on eBay or something but they are discontinued from the Hammer line.
I wish I had the rev rate of the last dude
so does about a million other bowlers, including me.
Love the reviews! Are those 15# balls?
Both lefties use 14 and the rest are using 15.
Can we take a moment and look at Sean, he keeps fouling in every shot lol. #nohate
Yeah, interesting from that perspective it might appear so. He actually finishes within an inch of the line all the time...and occasionally fouls :-) I don't think he actually fouled once during the filming. A lot of pros also finish quite close to the line.
K
its all muscle memory after a while, you can time yourself to finish touching the dots right before the foul line, just need to get the feel for slide if you change alleys
Good video 😀
scotturban54 thank you!
The reason Sean’s no rules pearl didn’t make it back and rolled out is because he had way less axis rotation on that throw ..jus sayin
It's actually losing axis rotation because it reads the lane a little earlier.
Everyone is saying the intense reads earlier ..must be cuz he has a track on that old no rules pearl n intense is out of box shine
CleSwag24 it's a brand new no rules pearl. No games on it. We see the no rules pearl being smoother.
Cool ball tamer good bowler
0:42 - Grrrrrrr!
Turn up volume
My ears are bleeding
