I love finding one of your videos that I haven’t seen yet. Thanks as always and God Bless you and your family. Let’s get you to a million subscribers!!
It’s all about the details. I think your videos are the most informative videos of all the fishing videos of the area you fish in you provide all the info one needs to do what you do and that’s what people want thanks and keep on fishing
I love that chef Paul’s on the grill. I can only find the small bottles of it in Tupelo, where did you get the big container of it. Awesome vid. Keep them coming!
I've been watching most of your videos and find them very informative. My wife and I are coming to Orange Beach Labor day weekend to try our hand at surf fishing. Any locations you would recommend? And what's the dominate catch during this time. Thanks for your service.
All good information. On the video as always. The snapper looked delicious! I tried the wall at the pass today.. unfortunately I haven’t got a way to keep live shrimp. I was using dead shrimp. No Mangrove for me today. Many pig fish and a couple of baby Jack Crevalle. Still a fun day. I hope to come back down in October if not then the holidays for sure.
I've started using Chef Paul's seasonings after seeing them on your channel. Great stuff, and perfect for seasoning fish. Love the content on your channel. Keep up the good work!
Moving to Foley in April. Can’t wait to try to catch some and cook them. Would love for you to post a discussion on what months are best for what fish.
For Taste? Reds, sea trout, flounder, sheepshead, mangrove snapper and Spanish are all the same..... 9's and 10's I personally like 17" - 18" trout. Lots of meat, hit lures, plenty of fight and plentiful.... Jacksonville, my home, rarely has mangroves.... Thanks for the nice clip.

Appreciate the way you describe what you are using tackle wise.. will help us novice folks.BTW are those Owner Ghost circle hook deals the ones u can use for reef fishing?
I used to fish Perdido at night. The specks are usually on the other side(west) ....around the bridge pilings. Also, nice live shrimp in August on an incoming tide.. Midnight incoming tide is best. For shrimp catching , get a long pole and attach a net at end. Easy to spot on surface.
Thanks for the heads-up I did buy the $10 Reef Fish Endorsement this year and intended to Keep Some Mangroves however I had no idea about having to use a Circle hook, although I almost always do use a circle hook and I look for non stainless just incase of a hooked placement to deep to get out hoping it will rust out I guess my thinking is valid. Thanks again.
@@BamaSaltwater - that’s what I was thinking-! It was February when I caught them in S Carolina and I was actually on a golf trip at the time. Thanks for the great video. I’ll be down there from January-March again next year.
Awesome! So I know you use every brand and type of reel but I’m torn between a Penn Clash III and a Shimano Stradic. 3 or 4000. What do you think? I’ve got a couple of Battles already. Just needing to add another one.
I’ve owned both, and you cannot go wrong with either one. I’ll say the Clash is slightly heavier but feels like it can take a little more abuse than my Ci4’s. I’d go with the Clash II over the Regular Stradic.
@@BamaSaltwater is Spanish and king going to do the same thing in the freezer I brought some home after being on ice for 4 days and it was still Awesome but was Spanish not king I have king and Spanish both in the freezer I will see how the king turns out after being frozen
@@richardbarnett7058 As long as it isn't in the freezer for a long time and properly cleaned. But being an oily fish, I don't usually freeze my mackerel.
I know you can outfish me any day of the week and I know I am old fashioned but when did they make it illegal to fillet fish with the ribs on them, it's not just you but 99 percent of the fishing videos I watch they cut out the ribs from the fillet. The old saying goes, the closer to the bone the sweeter the meat and waist not want not. I love your videos YOU are a great fisherman and a Fine Young Man. I live in Pensacola Florida and I have tried to learn how to fish but I have been having some health problems but I want to try your methods. GOD BLESS YOU AND KEEP YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
1/2 cup sour cream, small splash of warm water to thin it out, rolling pin on sleeve saltine crackers in a gallon ziplock with the air squeezed out, roll them crackers to fine particles, add 1/2 cup white flour, add salt pepper Everglades seasoning. Take a big potato, peel it, cut it in half , cut the half in half then cut those in half, dip them taters in that cream and roll em in the dust, fry them at 340 take em out let them cool, Dip them fish in the cream roll em in the dust fry them at 340 till they roll over. I’m from Texas so would I need to be a alabama state resident to get a reef endorsement? Also can I get the reef endorsement at Walmart when I buy my fishing license there? Thanks!
From the Alabama Website: “ Beginning August 26, 2019 “The Reef Fish Endorsement will be required for any person possessing, taking or attempting to take any gulf reef fish species listed in Rule 220-3-.46 (see below). This endorsement is required for all resident and non-resident anglers 16 years of age and older, and includes disabled, veterans appreciation, 65 and older, lifetime license holders, pier licenses, annual saltwater licenses, trip licenses, commercial fishermen, and charter boats.”
Man honestly have nothings against you love how you catch those snappers but the way y'all fillet them is ridiculous waste of a beautiful fish ...blood boils watching you fillet

Curious to know why you have to use a non stainless steel hook to catch mangrove

I’m surprise u don’t set out a red fish rod with cut or live bait in the pass

What’s the best fish to freeze
Any fish that aren’t oily! Usually Pompano, Red Drum, Sheepshead, and Snappers freeze good when cleaned and vacuum sealed

Try this put your battery in a bag yet the fish stay in for about 15 minutes before frying
Agreed mangs #1
I'm so damn picky with fish and how gamey some can be,but if its white and flakey like that ill go for it.
