You need a boat. Carry a cooler bag with a couple frozen water bottles in a back pack. I’m not walking the jetties and coming back empty handed. Those blues and Spanish’s would’ve made a nice and easy supper for the fam. JS
Check out thresherfishing he takes his off shore in the right conditions. I think some micro skiff action would be good for you, definitely would open up a lot more for you I think.
@@BeardedBrad92 I watch all you guys pretty much, he's one of the few out of state channels I watch. I have a yak but do a lot more wade fishing. The Tarpon(fun size 20 pounders) bite has been pretty good over here in the tampa bay area if you know where to go. If I could afford one I'd rock a bote lol
I got a 13ft micro skiff for creeks but wouldn't recommend going to the jetties with one under normal conditions, no matter how good a vessel, unless it's super calm and you won't get waked. Willing to part ways with mine ;)
I'm in the process of converting a 14 ft. bay boat to a microskiff right now. Should have it complete by the end of this year and would be happy to take you around if you're interested.
I love to throw spoons at the Murrells inlet jetty in SC. Also love to eat spanish & blues both are very underrated but very tasty. With blues we always gut & bleed them when we catch them & then just throw them on the grill.
Brad, thanks for reminding me to be aware of the need to downsize. Sometimes I get stubborn and think I’m smarter than the fish lol. You always give good grounded advice, thanks.
On a calm day like that have you ever tried a spinner bait , like you would use for bass fishing. Soon as it hits the water rip it across the top , whamo!
Jetty looks a whole lot different than it did this past weekend! It was windy as all get out when I was out there, I hung a pretty good sized bull red though but he got off when I was trying to land him 🤦♂️
A micro skiff could be cool but a small center console catamaran would be way cooler. You can go out in rougher water and they're great on gas, plus you can use a smaller engine than a monohull. They're cheaper to run.
@@BeardedBrad92 I don't know if anyone is still making them, but I remember cheap small cat center console or tiller steer boats around 14 or 15 feet. ShoalCat was one, I don't remember the other. They were crazy cheap. I bet you can find an older one that's not too expensive. Lawson Lindsey had a micro skiff and it turned out to be a pain. I'm going to look for the kind of small cat I'm talking about to find the names.
When you go to the jetty you always go to the end, no doubt the point is the best spot but do you ever find any good fishing along the rocks closer to the beach?
Great video man, I just now have stumbled upon your channel. I like that area there where your fishing actually have family not to far away from there,I definitely need to need to get up that way and do some fishing an film some videos for my channel one day for sure, most likely this spring since winter is upon us !😂 keep up the good work man I will definitely be watching out for more videos! 👍👊🙌
Mr Brad, this isn't related to this video. A while back you mentioned a problem you had with your Penn Pursuit. That was after you made a video recommending it's purchase. I currently have two Pursuit III reels but haven't spent much time on the water with them. What should we be concerned about? I am also considering adding a few Pursuit IV reels but may change my mind depending on the problem you had.
The main gear stripped on it. It got a ton of use, and I still run a few pursuits. I do guided surf fishing trips and they get used all the time on those trips. I’ve only had that issue with one of the reels so I wouldn’t be too terribly concerned. If you want to spend a little more money, some other the higher end reels have a brass main gear that’ll hold up a little better over time
I found a mini rod one time and threw a small amount of pinched off worm on it and caught a huge walleye I barely caught because it snapped my line at the bank of the Mississippi River which I had to kick it onto land but a memory I’ll never forget for life (over ten years ago)
Well no wall hangers but at least you got a couple nice Spanish hey was that the travel rod you were using? All right dude you’re knocking out a lot of videos I like it... and yes you should definitely get a boat I’ve looked at a couple of 14ft Carolina skiff’s mainly because I hate walking the jetty rocks all right dude thanks for the video have a good holiday
Dude I’m in Greenville South Carolina right now moving back down to Jax in January but you would not believe the boat deals here and they’re all freshwater so no corrosion . If you get a chance check out marketplace Greenville SC you can get a nice center counsel with a 25 HP for around 3K. I’m going to sell my Harley in the spring when I get back down to Florida come back up here stay with some friends and buy me a boat can’t wait ! If you can find something in this area before I move you’re welcome to crash here for a few nights and come look 👀 or pick it up
The jetty we fish on at Murrels Inlet, SC has a paved walking path on top. You would love that.
How did I miss this upload? Great mornings fishing Brad. Some nice Blues and that second Spaniard was a stunner. Peace and love from the UK bro!
For sure man! Thanks!
Nano skiff probably the best 1 to 2 man skiff made

I do need to get a backpack cooler!
I love the skiff !! That would make some Great content !!
Hopefully soon!
Someone should come up with a margarita named "Jetty's on the Rocks". Salt on the rim, maybe a shrimp, a tiny bit of clam broth and alcohol with ice.
Yep. I love fishing at the pass. Haven't been on the the jetties though yet. Never wrong when catching Blues and Spanish. Spoons are king. Great video
Love the jetties. So many different opportunities out there

He’s got a cool channel. That Bote that he has is pretty nice too!

Nice catches. Nice of you to take rod and reel to beach!
Class act Brad!
Nice and calm which is good for top water in our area in NC, micro skiff would work as long as it is calm enough light tackle is always fun.
For sure!
Love throwing spoons. Heading to the panhandle for Thanksgiving weekend to do some fishing. Hope I do as well as you did. Go Vols!
Hope you can get on some good ones! Go Vols!

Yes sir!
love those small boats, go for it
Looking for one!
Great fishing video with some nice fish
Thanks man!
Let’s Go !!! 🐊🐊🐊
Nice fishing! 👍🐟
Thanks!

I haven’t. May have to give it a shot some time
Good show sir... Thanks...

Fresh fried Spanish are the best. Bluefish are pretty decent too.
For sure!!!
Awesome 👍 thanks and pretty cool hopefully he will remember also leaving in water but maybe he slipped got hurt oh well very nice of you

I would love a center console. Micro skiff if just a cheaper entry into the “boat” world. I’ll definitely have a center console one day!

Ya there’s times when slot reds abs trout till hangout closer to the beach
Great video. Freddy does need to taste blue fish tacos.
We’ll get him some!
Get ‘em Brad! Great stuff
Yes sir! Thanks!
So I have a B-52 RiverHawk which is basically a Gheenoe it’s in the microskiff family and I love it man!! You would have a blast!
It’s called match the hatch Brad, 100% correct 😄
For sure!

Love you guys
Thanks!!
Hell yeah on the micro! But I'd rather see you on a center console 😎
Me and you both! 💰
Hey Brad, skiff is a good idea. Check out Michael Scwind from Aransas pass area. He just built one that turned out terrific.
I’ll check it out!
Looks like fun.
Yes sir!
Jettie trek in my future.😅

Brad, what fish do you think you caught in the beginning of the video that fell off?
Pretty sure it was a decent bluefish
Fun morning!
Yes sir!
How do you never slice your finger with the braid? Anything more than 1oz I always get cut..
@zackr6 I use hockey stick tape but it's not ideal. I'll try fishing next season with a leader. Thank you :)
Having a yak , id like watching a micro skiff.
Give it a MULLET and call it the freddie.
Haha that’s right!
B-RAAAD!!!
Yes sir!
How do you like to prepare the Spanish Mackerel?
I typically fry it and make tacos
Looks like BBB left his rod on jetties!
😂🤣
Oh...not ghost shrimp catch and cook. Dang it.
😂 maybe one day with Freddy!
Yes to micro skiff...
Hoping to make it happen!
Brad I hear someone has a Mako for sale. Probably get a Clickbaiters discount
Micro sciff would be great ,
You should talk to Ron if you want a boat.
Maybe he’ll pass his down when they sign a boat deal😂
MicrosSkiff or even a decent pedal Kayak.

You should get the Mako from Ron lol.
Maybe he’ll pass it down 😂
Brad….Did you see the snook CMR caught???
When?
@@BeardedBrad92 yesterday he posted the video!!!
Nice vid man! What’s that blue rod you’re using?
It’s a TFO traveler
Bro you should buy Ron's mako !!!!!
Where can you park your vehicle to fish that side of the jetties?
By the Gulf restaurant
