The best kindle I bought this one as my first at 71$ with the warranty & I have to say this is my favorite device I have I don’t think I would’ve liked the paper white definitely basic all the way 💯👍
I have an iPad Pro 12.9 and use the Kindle app for years. I have always been curious as to what advantages there would be in having an actual Kindle itself. I really don’t see any.
@@kapa1611Ads are only on when you turn it off. They put a book ad on the front until you read again, and what I experienced is they try to give you ads that you like. So, if you read Lord of The Rings, you will get an ad on The Hobbit.
After owning 3 basic Kindles and 2 generations of the PaperWhite, I see no benefit to spending the extra money to waste money on the 2018 generation PaperWhite with some of the aggravating quirks that came with it.
@@d3s216 I think the Base Kindle gen 11 has the same display resolution but fewer edge lights. I like the ergonomics of the basic better. The flat bezel on the Paperwhite caused me to change pages when I didn't intent to. If the Paperwhite does everything you want, I don't see any reason to spend money just to have something different.
@SeraKook it doesnt have apps. but you can have dictionaries downloaded as books that the kindle will consult when u click on an unfamiliar word. just not dictionary APPS.
This is the Amazon Kindle tablet, no apps whatsoever just simply to read books. You’re looking for the Amazon Fire tablet, that one runs on Android and has Google play store and many apps
I wish they had done a better job with the touch sensitivity and UI. Was a kindle user before but the touch and nav. Irritated me out of the world so much so that now I’ve come down to read print books.
I tried buying a book and then installing the pc version of the kindle app. Well the purchasing went off without a hitch. I could not get the app to work though. I could not get past the first step. That is registering it. It wanted me to view the numbers in the picture but there was no picture! Luckily it had an option to hear the numbers. Unfortunately nothing came out on my speakers. There was nothing wrong with my speakers. Just a bad registration process. So I thought maybe I can download the book and then read it with calibre. Nope, it said I did not have any reader and would not let me download it. So I returned the book to get my $25 back and decided to write a review about my experience. Since there was no place on Amazon where I could leave a review.
2.17: It's available in 2 different colours..........both of which will be plastered in fingerprints within minutes. YUK! That's a deal breaker for me. Why do these tablet/e-reader/phone companies not come up with more designs that are fingerprint resistant? I'll stick with my 10th Gen Basic. It's white. Go figure!
I got the wrong ebook. $20 to remove the front cover. Sneaky. Very very sneaky. Companies that sneak this bad are on my eternal ban list. Very bad way to treat your customer. Next ebook reader and all in future will other… there are good ones around. Aso closing my amazon account for purchases and I will torrent download any show that comes on that I want to see.
I bet relearning to love reading would cure TikTok brain.
literally why im watching this video
This is not a review, it's an ad.
Would you like to remove it for $20?
Why did you expect it to be a review?
It shows what it can do I'm fine with that instead of obnoxious opinions on it.
Just make a video where you talk and compare them ALL. Which one is best for who? TELL US!

I love my basic Kindle in its beautiful denim color but I do miss the warm light feature I have on my Oasis.
The dictionaries are already on the Kindle, you don't even have to download them.

No distractions, so you can focus deeply, easy on your eyes, lightweight, easier to carry.
and insane battery life @@Drums1696
Or for kids if I don't allow them access to social media
No blue light
No distractions
i wish the paper white one wasent so slow :(
no backlight to read at night? IPX68?
can you upload PDF files from your mac to the kindle and read it?
You email documents to your kindle (look in settings). Pfd should be supported and so are epub and word
Straight to the point, no BS, great review. 🙏
So, can i upload my own PDFs and not use Amazon at all
Internal storage
Is Amazon account necessary
Is there an inbuilt dictionary
i was wondering that too (the first three questions). i don't want to get ads ("suggestions") on something i have to pay for...

Should I upgrade from kindle 2019 10 gen to 11?

This is not a tablet, it's an ebook. It means that you can only do the things on it that gets you the book and you can read. That's it.
So this is not for lefthanders?
Can you tell its original firmware version before updating?
does it have all the books in the world?
It's actually pronounced "caliber", like the bullet measurement. The creator is Indian and just used the British spelling of the word.
What’s the name of this new Kindle?
It looks like the Paperwhite.
it's the Kindle Basic, 2022 version
@@shehuehue Is the screen yellow?

no :)
This kindle 2021 and 2022 Version suports epub files...?
Tank you.

This was more user guide than review
The screen on the Kindle 2022 is light yellow at its brightest. Does the Kindle Paperwhite create a totally white screen?
Looks awesome 😊💯
Dark Vs light mode does not have effect on battery life 🤷
