My favorite thing about this video Wheels is how real you are, you mention companies youre not sponsored by. I watch several other Pros when they do these monthly style bait videos and they all only mention companies they are sponsored by. You the man!

Hey what's up, new to the channel. I'm going re-watch this video tomorrow, but I appreciate all of the bait suggestions. I've moved to VA from CA and just now getting into the VA fishing scene, so it all helps. I've always been a top water/crank bait guy but looking forward to learning more of the plastic/swimbait side of fishing out here

Thanks Jacob!! A northerner here from the mid Wisconsin area and when everything else fails we break them flipping jigs (swim jigs) and beavers out! In the summer that is, thanks a lot for the video I love learning new things and the tying tip is a big plus, love it! never new that would make a big difference in hooksets… got a tournament to fish Sunday up here, hoping to find them! Best of wishes to you next week as well! Great content and looking forward to seeing more!!

I really appreciate videos like this, man. For someone who recently discovered a passion for fishing, it’s awesome to be able to learn from professionals like you. I know I still have so much to learn, but I will definitely be trying some of these baits. It’s really hard to pick a favorite out of everything you mentioned, but I think it is actually the crossover rings. I love throwing a wacky rig and a neko, so I’m eager to try those.

Still with you my man. Jacob thank you for being an educator and taking the time to! And you are a real thorough and good one for shore. It means a lot to me and I no it does any one who likes to learn in general? So mad respect to you for that really! Can’t pick favorite part hole video was the juice. My self when it’s coming at you like you give it. Longer the better. I am not in hurry. You’re the one sacrificing your fishing time. To hook us up. You’re a good person. And definitely one of the best anglers if not the best. For the reason’s above. You are appreciated my friend. I live in Alabama. I’m gonna catch up with you out and about at some point and tell you in person. No need to apologize on a month or two here and there if people watch you and pay attention you’re teaching if it’s just quick go to on MLF so it’s all good. thank you‼️😁

This is my favorite time of year just because I love to watch it all go down. Growing up on Toledo Bend I've caught some giants and can still remember my 1st one I caught off bed and been chasing that feeling every year since. Those cross over rings are freakin awesome for wacky/neko rigs they're definitely more pricey then o-rings but it seems like they make my plastics last longer. Great video as always keepem coming brother!!!

Thanks Jacob. That was a great learning video. You went in depth with the bait and your set up too. I very much like the way you used the lake maps to give examples of where to fish them. You went from faster moving baits to try to locate the bass, to pitching right to the beds. I'm sure everyone has learned a little something from this video. Good luck with all your tournaments and be safe on your travels.

Much appreciated Jacob, learned a lot and I really liked the swimbait portion of your video- the hows, what, and where after talking about the baits itself (the Arashi, the Mayor, the Magdraft,) and the under spin( after bass spawns and the shad spawn begins). I’m a newbie to bass fishing , into it for a year now and caught 35 total so far (bank fishing), until I can get a kayak, God willing, then I can really go live.

32 years living on Caney Lake, Zoom Gunmetal Wacky rig is legit this time of year! I have yet to try the crossover ring, I'm still using the o-rings. But taking it back old school, my all time favorite bed fishing worm is a Culprit Fire & Ice. Something about that flash the bass can't stand. Keep grinding Wheeler...you da man.
