Yesterday I purchased a Quicksilver LR AWD Model Y with a tow hitch and 19" wheels. Took advantage of the 1.99% and it's a 10 day delivery. I just lemon'd a ford hybrid truck that was in the shop for over 100 days this year that nobody knew how to fix, so it's time for a Tesla. ;)
I traded in a 2018 Model 3 (a hotwheel) on a new Model Y. Transferred FSD, got point of sale tax incentive and they gave 3 months of free Supercharging.
IMO, Tesla should conduct a scientific polling of what Tesla Model Y Juniper features customers want and do not want, Far example, i believe most people like stems in cars and are used to it. I want more range at a better price with a new uprated 4680 battery with over 400 miles in range. Musk appears to believe his vision is that of the common customer, why not implement a scientific polling of potential customers on line before going ahead and manufacturing the cars? Do others believe this makes sense?
They better do something about Juniper. I test drove 2024 model y and I was so disappointed that I almost do not consider it as first choice anymore. Crickets, noisy at 120kmh,hot under that glass roof and it was 27C partialy cloudy , cheap looking interior with hot seats and uncomfortable ride and seating really a let down.
Placed my $100 deposit for the $39,900 version of the e CyberTruck 3+ years ago. Will not get one until it is that price. I realize it may never come. So be it.
The refreshed Model Y looks interesting but I already pulled the trigger and bought a Model Y during the 0.99% financing. I love the car especially with the cost savings. It's a great set of hot wheels.
Beeing a Tesla Y driver and seen the new model 3 i would prefer saving $10k than having a new look and a hand full features from which only ventilated seats are nice. But not for $10k as the new model will not be so cheap the first 2 years. And you can retrofit ventilated seats!
My wife just got a model Y and the technology and it’s pretty awesome. We’ve been a Toyota family for a long time but she’s got some really Hot-wheels now. I’ve been looking at the model X and the cyber truck and I did test drives on both but I need something. I can tow a lot, but I’m gonna probably have to wait to see if the prices come down. 🎉🎉🎉

The new model Tesla just released in Mexico is still better in everyday than my 2018 Model three we paid almost twice as much for when it launched. I'd it now for many reasons- low price, 1.90% finance if you are financing, other federal tax credit and state incentives. In 2025 the price might go up . If Trump wins he may kill off the tax credit program.

i disagree with what you are saying. Incentives and discounts will have to continue considering tesla is missing their sales targets, the cybertruck is going to be a complete flop because of how bad it performs and competition is getting much better. Cutting cost isn't cutting features to the consumer, cost cutting is offering the same features for less because your production cost is less
ICE cars have had a Base Model for sometime. You want more, you pay more so no surprise that Tesla is doing the same thing. Still going to wait for Juniper!
If Juniper RWD would have those cuts... Tesla can keep it ;) But i just got a new Y and will wait and see.... would change to juniper if it's no downgrad compared to the current Model 3 RWD sold in europe.

Tesla knows that the EV industry will really suffer for the next 5+ years due to low demand. I can almost guarantee that Tesla will offer more perks in the future. If you really need a car, consider getting ICE cars since they will retain values better. I do have M3 and My since 2021, and I still like them but kinda stuck with them because they are under the water. Buying cars with cash? Yeah, who really do that now days. Plus, FED's rate will most likely come down, so 1.99% can't really be a deal in the future.
Some people and I am not happy from Tesla model Y Juniper's glass roof is NOT safe cause heavy rain, strong wind mini rock from mountain and very hot sun through Tesla's glass roof is NOT good health. I would like Tesla's stainless steel roof is SAFE away sun, heavy rain and strong wind mini rock.

Yeah I'll pass on being the talk of the town while paying a $1700 car payment for a Cyber Truck and owing more than what the truck is worth and I don't care for FSD and being a lab rat for Tesla and pharmaceutical companies pay people to test new drugs but Tesla wants us to pay to be the lab rat for their software and we have to drive like our grandparents just to keep FSD active for something we paid for but I waiting for my non foundation series CT.

The Mexico model 3 is to compete with all the BYD cars from China. It’s still much more expensive, but Teslas has FSD and that is a huge advantage.
When driving in Southern California in my model Y, I would often get a Hot-wheel when the car was in the sun.

Over time Tesla is perfecting their supply chain by continuous improvement as well as cost cutting. Double edged sword.
