This video made me want to evaluate my purchases because I do think it helps to see your spending patterns. And I like how you even recognized what was caused by impulse and the community and which were true purchases. Love the content keep it up 🖤
You aren't alone with purchasing "all the things" and then having buyers remorse. I am new to the stationary world and I too purchased many things that didn't resonate with me. I am going on a minimal buy spending habit for 2024. Thank you for posting this video and being honest. I think my best purchase were the A6 Aura Estelle Catch All Planner and my Nanala Designs TN and fountain pen zipper case from Nomando. I bought this in celebration of my 3rd year being breast cancer free. I did save up money for that purchase. I look forward to future videos from you.❤
I think we all spent too much in 2023 and now we are committing to "using our stash" for 2024! What will these small stationery and sticker shops going to do without us? LOL. Very good idea to assess what we have purchased, and why, to help recognize what we will actually use and appreciate!
I really love watching reflection videos like this. I can see that you learned a lot about your buying habits. And I will try to apply some of your learnings for myself as well.
Another great video Jasmin. Thanks for sharing your perspective on what worked, and didn't work for you. Really interesting to learn experiences of others on new items and ones I'm familiar with. Hope you have more uploads coming in 2024. Happy new year to you and yours!
I bought the TAN medium weeks too and the layout is…hmmm. Odd. Takes some getting used to. But the paper is actually MUCH better than Hobonichi’s new paper for sure. Sarica’s YT channel influenced me on that one :-). I also LOVE that Mr eggplants washi tape and it’s now on my wishlist. Thanks for the comprehensive walkthrough.
Lovvvvved this! Totally relate to planner chaos and please remind me to cool my jets in 2024 too 😂 You’re spoiling us with all these TH-cam videos!!! 🤩🤩
Thanks for your video. :) I am SO with you on the VersaMagic Dew Drop ink pads! I am having all of the same problems you mentioned: the caps not staying on or popping up on one end as you try to press them on, inks either dried out or too wet, etc. In addition, the packaging makes it seem like they are meant to stack on top of each other for compact storage, but that doesn't work because the caps never sit flat on the bases. I got some of the little Soramame ink sets (also from Tsukineko) and they are MUCH better. I think it's because they are round instead of teardrop-shaped. Also, the Soramame sets come in a clear plastic base that holds four inks - so they store really nicely. I will try the Sashihata ink pads as well, based on your review. Thanks!
I’ve been tempted to try out the soramame ink pads! I think the multiple colors would make it so fun to color in multiple parts of a stamp with different inks!
Wow. That’s crazy. I almost bought the Momo pen but I cancelled my order. I was trying not to buy the sailor yoseka home pen, which is the one I really wanted. I decided it was best to get the one I really wanted because knowing me I would get it anyway and end up not using the Momo. I love buying samples of ink. Apparently I am very picky when it comes to inks. Like you I would have a ton of bottles I don’t like.
I know what you mean with the FOMO. I'm so glad I've slowed down on buying stationery. I'm just so glad that I could easily sell my pens. I also agree that buying a sample would be better. I would be able to try more inks that way. I love this video! :)
i enjoyed your review. I'm happy to know I'm not alone. I, too, love my Hobo a6, and miss it bc I went to a weeks style (not Hobo). I've two other planners that I'm feeling that I won't stay in long. But it's fun learning. No worst/favorites for me 😊
I had the same experience with curved scissors, they are not cutting where I want to cut but they move on their own .. the edges are worse than on short straight scissors.
Definitely can relate to the excitement in general of cool stationery items and thinking I want it… but do I really? Will I use it? It’s a learning experience for sure! Thanks for sharing your experiences, very cool to see best and worse!
Loved your video! Txs for sharing your experiences with all the products. I’ve been hoarding way too much, so many regrets, too many unused products and yet destashing is such a hassle, where to begin 😬❤️😻
I love getting to take a look on what you love and what you don't this year :) sometimes we only know our taste when we make mistakes in buying unfortunately. Hope you get to destash the TAN B6, I'm using the A5 this year and I'm loving the paper.
The joys of experimentation haha. It’s interesting how we can love an idea so much only for that idea to fizzle out once we hold something in person! I’m still holding out hope that I’ll find a reason for the TAN B6 😆
Hi! Great video. Definitly love the flat stamp storage. When you are saying D (or B) stash, referring to your used /unused or sold stationary, where are you buying / selling that at? Is there a website for B stationary I am unaware of. Would love to check that out. Thank you!
Thank you for watching! There are large communities on Facebook called Buy/Sell/Trade or BST for short. There are dedicated groups for brands like Hobonichi, or general groups where a variety of things can be found. Most of the time community members are selling lightly used or like new items. The term destash is usually used when someone is trying to sell a large amount of items from their collection. I personally have purchased most of my items from destashes from Instagram accounts and Facebook BST groups! Check them out! But be warned it gets a little addicting looking for a good deal 😉
would be interesting to know, all people in the community of collecting tons of ink, pens, stationery ( what for?) would do this also without social media?? ;-) i know to love and write with pens since my school-time, never stopped. I have only 3 pens and they are always filled, because i write in my job a lot. But i don`t think about them. My oldest parker duofold is from 1993. seems to be an interesting hobby....;-)
It’s definitely an interesting question. Personally, I would probably collect many of the same things I have now even if I weren’t on social media, but I know I have acquired more than I need because of social media. The caveat though being I would have never discovered 99% of these items in my collection were it not for social media. I would rather know, learn, and enjoy than go back in time and not know and not be on social media.

please do a stationery collection/organization video! I love how you do your setup
19:12 girl.... That's a pyramid scheme
I really enjoyed this video! So glad YT suggested your channel to me! ❤
I agree bout ink samples! They for sue are a great way to try different inks and have fun. Love them!

Thank you so much for watching! Congratulations on 3 years! A milestone that warrants many celebrations.

Use Our Stash 2024 would be the best trend! 2023 was definitely “freak out and just buy it before it’s gone” 🫠

Love reflections and consumerism. Need v to use own stash

They’ve become house scissors now haha. Great do opening packages and breaking down boxes
Very nice >>>> Thank you .

What is the name of the pen you used to show off the Don Quixote ink? I have heard of it, but have forgotten the name…
It is the Kakimori Brass nib! It has a unique design for holding and distributing ink.

I just don’t understand why take a note didn’t keep their system for the b6 size. Like I’m a b6 person, and I hate the layout of the b6
I agree! They should have kept the same layout for the B6! If they wanted the horizontal it could have been an additional.

Agree. Versa magic was the worst.
OMG, I need the boy washi for my son's memory keep. 😭 I can never find a design I like. Do you know who the artist is?
Ooh send me a message on IG!
Yes, I am a follower on instagram and on TH-cam. And I am listening while getting ready. 😂😂😂
Hehe! Thanks for supporting me anywhere I share content!
18:30 Girl… that sounds like a pyramid scheme 🫣
