Oh gosh, now I have even more inks I want to try out! 😅😂🙈 Diamine inks were my first fountain pen inks & unfortunately the ones I got then, I never quite felt comfortable with, but since buying Diamine Salamander, my view of Diamine inks has changed (at least for that ink) & if Green Umber is similar in the writing experience, it’s definitely going on my wish list!
Haha! That's so great I guessed 3 out of the five....the change out of the ancient copper for the Taccia benitsuchi was surprising. Because of your mention of them I have picked up larmes de cassis and ancient copper. I see why you love them. Right now I'm loving Pelikan apatite, Pilot Iroshizuku Yama-budo, Vinta lakambini, Robert Oster Blue velvet storm, and Taccia Utamaro Umemurasaki.
I really want to love the Pelican 4001 Brilliant Brown. I have a whole bottle but haven't gotten into it. I will try again in my Pilot Custom 823 which is my favorite pen. I am adding Diamine Green Umber and Herbin Larmes de cassis to my cart now. Thank you. My favorite ink right now is Robert Oster Cafe Crema.
I love Kyeong-Hee! I bought Herbin's Cornaline d'Egypt because I was drawn to the storyline that the orangey yellow Cornaline stone was believed to restore courage, improve concentration and calm the senses but I kept getting frustrated with flow issues and unsatisfied with the color range. Then I tried Kyeong-Hee and oh so beautiful and sensible and delicious shading! Now the ink that speaks "courage!" to me is Kyeong-Hee, not least because the author of Kyeong-Hee was an adventurous artist, woman writer, early feminist whose life entailed courage and breaking new ground (I think the author also was the first female artist to hold a solo exhibit in Seoul). Love this ink and thanks for the tip that you like using it with a twsbi EF (I have been loving Kyeong-Hee in my pilot iro-ai prera CM and Platinum Plaisir fine but will try EF twsbi when I have the chance!) it feels like such an expressive ink, my Courage! ink ❤
I understand what you mean about with your J Herbin ink only being your favorite in one pen. Montblanc Amythest purple is like that for me. I tried it in my Visconti Homo Sapiens with an Medium nib, when I first got the ink. I have tried it in all my favorite pens, even some other fancy Visconti pens. However, it always comes out much lighter. Some of my other favorites are Diamine Desert Rose, Noodler's Habanero, Graf Von Faber Castell Moss Green, and Wearinguel Hades
Beautiful line up of inks! 😍 I would love to try Kyeong-Hee. I also love it with inks offer at least a little shading, so it’s nice to know that each of these inks offer it to some degree.
I would find it very difficult to choose 5 favourite inks because my tastes change so often. But 5 inks i use regularly.... Diamine Nutcracker - brown Noodler's Dark Matter - black Diamine Aurora Borealis - green blue Noodler's Black Swan in Australian Roses - red pink Dominant Industry Downpour - grey I have lots of inks, sometimes i think too many
favourite inks: GvFC cobalt blue, Montblanc Irish green, Aurora black, Pilot red, royal Akkerman blauw, Diamine iris and Colorverse coffee break; like your choices too - I’ve had a bottle of ancient copper for ages but have been reluctant to ink it up as it has a reputation for nib crusts!:)
Mine are completely different; not sure if I can give past three favorite inks. In no particular order: 1) KWZ Turquoise. It’s almost always inked in my Pineider UR Full Metal Jacket pen, which I also love. It shades well on these papers. 2) Vinta Sikatuna Sanduga. Its different sheening colors makes it a favorite of not only mine but those who receive notes from me written on Iroful or Tomoe River. 3) Taccia Katsushika Hokusai. Another beautiful sheening inks. 4) Akkerman Diep Duinwater Blauw. I use this ink when I need business correspondence or notes to people whom I am not well acquainted with. It’s a great business ink, and does well in my vintage Parker 21 fountain pen with a medium nib. 5) Here’s a shocker. Monteverde Smoke Noir. It sheens either a light grey or a green, depending upon the paper. I absolutely love it, and usually use it in my Cross vintage Century Matte Black fountain pen with a 14K medium nib.
I adore Monteverde Smoke Noir! It's my perfect grey! And in the vain of Ancient Copper I also love Monteverde Copper Noir which ahs a slightly better flow than Diamine,
A very nice selection of inks. My top 5 are... Aurora black, pelikan edelstein tanzanite, mixture of matador, red dragon and oxblood which I call blood red. Mixture of sbre brown, ancient copper and pumpkin which I call tigers eye and MontBlanc lucky orange, golden yellow, miles Davis blue and twilight blue hour which came out as a yellowish antique gold and I named that Niko after our cat who recently passed away.
I wish i could have ancient copper in my veins thats how normal i feel about it 🤭 some my other favourites are Wearingeul Heimdall and FWP Misguided Mistletoe. Wearingeul makes a lot of great inks though. I quite like the look of your Green Umber and if i didnt have enough green ink already id be tempted to get my hands on it haha!
Wow take a little break and half are from unknown companies 😢😢 I have over 180 full bottles and all of a sudden there's so many more companies. I'm glad I have my original private reserve. I've heard it's different now.

These are so wonderful! Diamine Green Umber has not been on my radar, but it’s definitely going on my wishlist now. 🤘🏼😸🧡🖋
Green umber is also one of my all time favorites!
Same! So beautifully muted yet surprising
I got 2 correct yayy !! Great selection. I am enjoying Waterman Absolute Brown and Diamine Brandy Snap. They make me miss writing everyday
Difficult to decide favorites since I have an excessive amount of samples and bottles. But I do enjoy looking at your swatches.

Thanks for sharing your regularly used inks, I have Aurora Borealis but haven't inked it in a pen, would love to give it a try next month!
Such a satisfying video, watched and enjoyed till the end ☺☺
Thank you so much 🤗

I love that you mix colors and name the blend! I am sorry to hear about your cat. 💗

Heimdall, I'm intrigued!
Perfect combination of colors ❤
Great choices! Mine would be: Take sumi, sailor Texas, sailor New Hampshire, Montblanc lavender purple, and a blue black mix I created.
A nice set of inks. I really like warm browns and I agree on Benitsuchi, it has something extra. 😇🩷🙏🙌
I love Larmee dr cassis. It stays in my Platinum PGB 3000 Sakura. Just perfect match.
Oh My God! Im going to Oblation the last week of the month and also I am finally moving up there too. I am so excited for that!!!!! ❤❤❤
How exciting!!! Happy moving, PDX is such a cute and vibrant city.
Beautiful colors!
Nice choices, and I love your pretty “cloud” swatches ☁️
Thank you! 🤗
I love all these colors. Great video
I had other Pelikan 4001 inks. They were really dry. Is the brilliant brown dry too?
Yes, they're all dry, but perfect for wet nibs.
Gorgeous colour choices …..
Hi. Could you share the link for the glass pen please?
Of course! I added the link in the description box and will add it here, too: tinyurl.com/rt9ppf9h
@@lianelikes thank you Liane. love your videos
At 5:10 you almost gave me a heart attack 😂💚
Omg, you are so right! I didn't even notice how I close I was to an epic disaster until your comment. LOL
There should be close-ups.
Right so nobodies going to talk about how she used a thermometer to draw a cloud…really?
