Got these when I was 15, still wearing them at 23. The sole is so good, not worn down at all. Still waterproof too. Hope they're last me another 8 years, especially since they don't make them anymore...
I bought a pair of these in the same colorway, a pair of all-black Pampa Sport Cuff WP2, a pair of winter boots (don't remember the name/model) back in 2014 and they're still going so strong I just ordered a pair of the Olive Night colored canvas Combat boots. I can't believe how much these have gone up in price too, seems like they've doubled.
I bought a pair of Pampa sports cuff wpn back in 2016 and they are still going strong. Only issue is one pull tag at the back has come away, but apart from that they still look pretty darn new. And boy are they comfortable. Just bought a new leather pair, not as comfortable in the sole as the first pair but still happy and look so cool.
There's nothing to be skeptical about here. These boots are 100% waterproof and bombproof. I wish they would stop with the fashion talk in their marketing. "Explore the city", pffffff. How about be a man and go camping in your freaking awesome man boots. I've had the same exact boots for almost 3 years now. I wear mine at least three days a week and go camping in them all the time. The soles have held up incredibly well and aren't pulling away from the leather at all. I was really worried they would start to delaminate because they weren't stitched on but I haven't had any problems. I'm finally going to replace these because the soul under the ball of my foot is starting to get a little thin. After 3 years though!
I've been eyeing these for a while now. I live in a high-precip area so I hope these really are waterproof and comfortable too. If they work out for me I'm gonna buy three pairs in different colors because I love the design.
good luck finding these in particular. They are extinct unfortunately. It took me months to find them on ebay two years ago! If you do find them snatch them up without hesitation.
This video is how I discovered palladium boots now my entire family and I are loyal customers I still have and take my pampa hi waterproofs to work daily after so many years though I cannot find them in the website anymore.
i was so excited to buying the shoes and the 1st time it rained i was a little dissapointed, yes they are waterproof but they are extremely slippery on wet surfaces .. more than any other shoe i ever had.. (these are suppost to be winter shoes) i allmost fell a few times already anyone knows if this runs down at any point with use? i have been wearing them quite a few times now ..
I am seriously, seriously debating on getting these boots for exploring and hiking, but I'm also a bit nervous since they are almost 300 bucks here. I read a few reviews such as yours, most of the people say a lot of good things about these boots, but there were a few people who said that its very slippery on wet surfaces, so I'm really skeptical. When you walk around with them wet do you slip and ski almost? Also does it make squeaking noises when you walk around while its wet?
Ghost Hey ! as far as i can tell you from my experience.. i bave been wearing them for a few months now, it mainly slips on smooth surfaces like sewer caps on the street, painted sidewalk markings.. even in buildings, if the tile is smooth it slips and yes almost ski's ( i almost fell a few times) they don't make squeaky noizes.. we don't have snow here in israel.. but i've been to ukrain for a trip and there was alot of snow, grips well fluffy ice and are snow proof 100% keep your feet dry, but slip of course on compacted snow and ice easily. i have been hiking with them, and they are alot of fun ! very strong and stirdy, comfortable and handle any rock.. the only thing im concerned.. im traveling to india soon and we will do quite abit of hiking through wattery places with rivers, and i'm scared that on a wet rock surface they will be slippery ... (havent tried yet) as far as for dry land exploring i know they are quite good .. by the way i got a different model shoe, that is waterproof.. but its all the same effect and shoe soles. dont forget you can allways try out sizes at a shoe store and quietley buy them online for a better price :) hope it helps
More than adequate. I've been through a blizzard with my Pampas. The only other stylish/functional boots I wear in such conditions are Sorel's Mad line.
these shoes come of like 75% fashion and 25% practical to me, not serious walking shoes if you want to live in the country site or walk a lot tough all sorts of terrain and weather. Also, you don't slip in very easy in these shoes and in the part around the ankle pushes uncomfortably on my ankle bone when I strap all the laces normally, although that seems to wear out now.
Hi, ok I'm having difficulty finding info about the shoes so if you can answer, please do: Are they comfy/flexible, is it easy to run with them like for parkour and stuff, does it have good grip for walking over slippery rocks and running up walls, does the shoe also support your foot form and are they made for all conditions
+Danie Ellis I don''t think it's goof for running or parkour due to the high of the boots. it covers all your ankle which prevents your feet from moving freely. but the design is great for treking and exploring. ( sorry for my bad english )
+tran ann Thanks. I dont really care that much if it isnt for parkour, just wanted to know if ill be able to run away incase the zombie apocalypse happens:)
***** Amazing quality! Looks high end. It really is good, no water sinks through! I used avoid going through puddles but now just walk through it XD its not even that expensive, I was going to buy the all black timberlands but didn't have enough money at the time so I opted for these. Don't regret my purchase. 100% recommend it
I grabbed these a year ago because I thought the same thing, I got the ones that have that classic timberland boot look, they are waterproof dope as fuck and I went on a safari in them when I was in South Africa haha
I hike in the woods with them and causally walk in them. They work just fine. However the longest I've walked in them, was about 5 hours straight. My feet were fine and comfortable. But I'm not sure what your trek entails.
From their website. Google it and and you should be good to go. After 2.5hrs of searching for decent/yet stylish men's winter boots they are the only company so far that have a high winter boot I would wear. Everything else looks like I'm about to start a tractor in 3ft of snow or move to Alaska.
they are not waterproof and they are like ice skates on slippery roads. Probably because of the small star symbols under the sole, it gives minimal surface contact.
Bull. Is there 100% waterproof. I've had mine for almost 3 years now. After about a year and a half I did notice some light seepage if standing in a deep puddle a river for more than a few minutes. However if you take care of them, like you would any other leather shoe tell maintain their waterproof. Point is, these boots are much more waterproof than my Gore-Tex morel boots.
+Suspension Power I have the Men's Baggy Leather Gusset WP Boot. I have the black with gum sole and I also have the gray. The black with gum sole has been amazing. The gray on the other hand, (I got after responding to this video) has not. I don't know if it's just a different leather or something. The great don't seem to repoll water is well and after only three months they're starting to seep through into the boot. I never had that issue with the black and gum sole.
Got these when I was 15, still wearing them at 23. The sole is so good, not worn down at all. Still waterproof too. Hope they're last me another 8 years, especially since they don't make them anymore...
especially since they don't make them anymore...
@@stevensteven2328 not this particular model, no. they do have other waterproof shoes though.
I hike in these and they are great. Walked many miles. Very comfy boot.

Underrated boot brand right here.

I didn't know those shoes existed and just saw them in a store AND I WAS IN LOVE WITH THE DESIGN
Just got a pair of the regular baggy black boots. My first and only pair at the moment and I love them!
Waterproof baggies are nowhere to be found nowadays though....
I’d really like to own them but I can only find the Pampa Hi as waterproof

I've been looking for a pair of boots like this. I have a pair of Oboz currently and was wondering how are they compare.
Please bring these back!!!!!!!!! Please!!!!

I bought these, they are amazing, comfy, waterproof and light and people always look and must think damn, wish I had those :)
need waterproof boots for sure. That's why I'm here
Lugz had a good run... Timbaland had a good run.... Now Palladium is owning!!! I love the designs!

I need these to come back Mine are finally starting to leak a bit after 6 years and now they don't make them anymore....I need them again.
Why don’t they make them anymore??? I sold the pair I had cos I brought them like 1.5 sizes too big. (Don’t ask how) 🤣

I'm not looking for the water proof high tops. I want the water proof baggy boots shown in this video.
@@Wolfiegangs ohhhh I seee 😌
can I hike 30 consecutive miles in them without getting blisters?
Probably cant do that with any boot without breaking them in
wearing new boots can always cause blisters. I recommend you to wear them a few times before hiking! :D

I have the pampa baggy, boots in , black , brown , and dark green

Does anyone has the link?
how much are these boots

cool shoes, absolutely waterproof, use these boots 2 seasons (cool and rainy autumn, winter) and have no complaints, I wear even at minus 25-30
I'm very sceptical about these boots
