Ok great video. My question is that rather then buying an air compressor. My best option would be buying a larger co2 tank to fill my 10 gallon co2 tank. What size tank and fill hose will you recommend?
I’ve never tried to transfer co2 from tank to tank. But your best bet is to go to a local brewery or welding shop and pick up a 5-10lb co2 tank. That’s what I used when I stopped using the co2 tanks
Hey bud can I operate a paintball co2 tank on a 45deg angle?? I want to cut a piece of PVC in half and mount to my DIY stand and slide my tank into it at a 45deg angle so I can read the gauges in operating mode.
@Arthur MI think it is this: www.amazon.com/Interstate-Pneumatics-WRCO2-5A4-Paintball-Adapter/dp/B00I2UMZ2Q/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=co2+tank+adapter&qid=1559624003&s=gateway&sr=8-4
The reason CO2 is leaking at the nut is because you are missing a plastic or paper washer that is suppose to seal the connection between the nut and the tank. You can buy those separately buy your regulator should come with 2 plastic ones (white). You can get the paper ones from a welding store. Once you have those then you do not need to put teflon tape at the connectors.
+Ryan Lacdao I appreciate the info. I noticed there were round grooves in both mating surfaces that looked like an o-ring could go there but I guess it didn't click until now. I'll see if I can edit the video to add that part in.
It's not really an o-ring and it is more of a washer that cover the entire flat area that you are talking about and not just the groove. If you go to a welding shop then they should be able to sell you one. I believe it is less than $1. Once you have then you will no longer need the teflon tape. I have 4 regulators that I have never put any tape around those connections. I do tighten the nut again after a few days when using a NEW washer since they tend to shrink and losen the nut.
I know what you mean. I think I've seen them before at harbor freight. I'm just saying I remember seeing that groove where it looks like a washer or o-ring would fit. I'll most likely check the local harbor freight tomorrow or this weekend to buy some. Thanks again
Ryan Lacdao I think he's talking about a perma-seal and you're talking about a regulator vinyl seal or "washer gasket". Perma-seals look like o-rings/nuts and are great for sealing, but wear out faster.
+BORG Aquatics if the tank doesn't have a nozzle then you have to screw the tank off of whatever it's directly attached to. So if you have an adapter, you needto screw the tank off of the adapter and it will hiss as it's coming off but once it's off, the valve should close up
Well it depends on the size of the tank and how many bubbles per second you run. But it would probably last just under a month or so. I think it's definitely worth it to find a place where you can get a 5lb tank though.
Look in the other comments and this is covered. You want a gasket for the tank that should stop the leaks. You can get it at welding supply places. I tried to simplify the system as best as I could for beginners.
Hi
It was nice video
What is pressure for fully charged bottle?
great video, could you help me to identify the adapter on aliexpress or amazon?
thanks you solve 100% of my questions

Hi, nice video,How much do this 20oz tank cost for refilling?
It’s completely dependent on who’s refilling it for you.
what is this name for this adapter(blue). i can't find it
Interstate Pneumatics WRCO2-5A4 CO2 Paintball Tank CGA 320 Adapter

Only six months late, but yes. CO2 in a paintball tank is in liquid form. As long as you don't allow the liquid to escape you'll be fine.
Where did you buy the blue adapter? Tks
I think I got it off of Amazon
Ormson Aquarium Design link please

can you use any co2 bottles ie welding co2 /fire extinguisher co2/home brew
I’ve never heard of fire extinguisher co2 but the others will work. As long as the tank is holding pure co2

Thanks man!
Where did you get your regulator??
Amazon
Ok I have aquatic mini on my co2... question for you, how do I remove the regulator safely even if the co2 tank (paintball) is almost full.?

typically how long with a paintball co2 tank last for say a 55 gallon tank?

Y
How long does that system stay full for? And could you pleeeeeease put links for the stuff in the description??
I like the Liverpool scarf.
Is this safe?
Yep
There is a lot of information missing, like what to do if it leak , white tape is not needed, adapters most of the time will leak ,
