I was peeling in laughter, Ironically i used to work as a forklift operator (Not for FedEx) and had i been the guy in the forklift at that moment. i just would not be able to contain myself Not only because i would be loading up something for Voltaire. But because of the morbid irony of the situation. And i swear if anybody asked why we were loading a tempedic box into a Hearse. i would have responded with "The guys mattress was so expensive he couldnt afford a coffin afterwards" Because those things are so damned pricey!
My kids want to make their bathroom a gothic bathroom. I could jokingly say that it is "your fault," but I would rather say thank you. They've put their heads together and are designing. I'm sure some of it is the influence of their mother and I, but they've seen your videos and feel like they can create cool things, with supervision of course. Voltaire thank you, I found this show and It's really helping me open up to my goth side. I was always weary of happily going goth cause of not wanting to completely freak out my parents who were a bit anti-goth. Glad I found this when I started college.

This video gave me a childhood flashback like no other! When i was a child , my mother always knew I was a strange little thing and I remember her asking me "So when you grow up what kind of car would you drive?" and my answer always was "I want to drive a hearse!" haha These Gothic Homemaking episodes are the greatest and they also have encouraged me to finish my makeup/art room (aka my sanctuary). Prior to discovering these videos I decorated the room with skull and raven statues because I love gothic aesthetic and Edgar Allen Poe but now you've given me SO MANY more ideas!

That's where I got my best trench coat :) Such satisfaction at finally seeing the armoire arrive, and what a fantastic transformation job you made of it! And the vanishing chest too; always did wonder how those depressions in leather furniture were done. Can't wait to see what else you've got in store for this season!
I love this series so much. I love gothic homemaking videos but all the others are done by people who live in homes or giant apartments. I am looking to get a tiny home soon so this is a life saver
Okay.... Who else is rewatching the entire series during quarantine?!? Now, I might have already commented this the first time around, but I would suggest adding a piece of glass beneath the frame... I think it would have made it easier to clean as well as make it look a little more expensive! Also, I wish Voltaire would do a series of crafts to do during quarantine... maybe found objects, maybe gifts for friends and relatives for the holidays. I am looking forward to his new videos!
