So, I'm 19, took a year off, and never took my ACT or SAT, but I'm getting started now so I can get into college soon. I plan on being a vet in the future. It's gonna be a long road ahead of me but I believe it will be well worth it. Also, your videos are super helpful and inspiring. So thank you for that. Keep up the great work and all the best to you!
I really love your channel I’m only in middle school but I’ve dreamed of being a vet since I’ve been 4 or 5. I’m already planning my whole high school and college and you’re channel is awesome😄
Hey! So I’m 13 and I’ve always wanted to be a vet and start my own business. In Australia you can work at 14 and 9months and i called up my local vet years ago and they said once I was old enough to work I could come in and shadow. I’m so excited to be able to help out in about a year! I really do believe that being a vet is my duty to do in this world. (I loved this video btw💕)
i'm 15 and just now decided i'm going to try to become a vet. I'm really curious about this one, but is there a book about Latin you suggest, or do you have someone teach you? (btw this was VERY helpful, thx!!!)
So i know I'm late but if this doesn't help you it might help someone else lol. My school had a class specifically for medical terminology that talked about prefixes, suffixes, body systems, the works. So check if your school has that. And second I recommend the Minimus latin books. They're short little comics about a Roman family. This is less "medical" and more everyday speech like "salve sum mary (hello I am mary)" but it definitely helps to recognize roots in English words (medically and everyday life). If that's a little too basic then look up "Cambridge Latin 1" (its the red book with the statue on it) and it's like 10 bucks on ebay. It's a little more advanced but if you don't want to start at the beginning then get that one and just use online latin dictionaries for the words you don't know. Hope this helps! :)
Last school year I took career management, and we had to do a job shadowing thing. Since I want to be a veterinarian I shadowed at a local vet office, and I loved it! I plan on volunteering there when I turn 16, since I'm too young now.
I'm 13 and very mature. I've wanted to be a vet since i was very little. I had a veterinary anatomy and physiology given to me when i was 11 and have been putting lots of effort into my work. me grades are great and i'm waiting for corona to end to volunteer at a clinic! wish me luck.
I love your videos❤ I have pretty much looked at all the vet youtubers there is, and you are my favorite😊 All your content is helpful and motivating! I stuggle being to hard on myself(and stressing A LOT) I would love a video on how to ceep calm when there is pressure 🤗
Thank you so much for this video, I feel just like you explained when you were in high school, and I Your tips are really helpful. Still I feel a little overwhelmed, there is a lot to think about, and yes I would love more videos like this or some maybe explaining how you got hours at a vet clinic. I am in grade ten a have never been involved. 💕
Does it have to be hands on animal experience cause I want to volunteer at the zoo (I wanna be a wildlife vet) and it's more educating the public about wild animals and conservation than doing the nitty gritty work.
Do you have any tips on how to prepare for the SAT? I’m in junior year in high school and I have already taken the PSAT and I had an ok grade on it but I didn’t really know how to prepare. Thank you!🙂 Also I love your videos, they are really helpful and supportive.
Hey I’m in the same situation rn, I took the psat and I didn’t do that good bc I got a 960. Now I’m nervous for the SAT and I feel like I won’t be able to get into a college with a vet program in it 😭 how did it turn out for u????
Thanks! Subscribed! Love the tips. I am a sophomore in high school and have need wanting to be a vet for forever. If there is something wrong with either my family's or friends pets they come to me for advice😂 Is that normal?
So I’m about to finish high school and i decided that I want to be a vet 2-3 months ago. Is it too late to start doing the animal and vet experience hours?

What if you did bad your freshman and sophomore year of high school?💔
Do you typically do many surgeries as a veterinarian?
What do you have to do after high school, is it 4 years of university and then another 4 years in vet school?
That is brilliant idea
Thank you so much this was so helpful😊
So happy thought so!
Do you think freshman year of hs is important?
Ugh i love this video so much
Super helpful. Love you
When you say hours do you mean volunteer work or can it be paid hours with animals too?
Hi, I am a 9th grader right now and I was wondering in what grade could I start shadowing the vets?
I think it’s grade 11! I think you have to be 16
