    Great video Logan. I think I mentioned before how years ago I always used Kent Diamond shot for bunnies, it was my go to ammo and always available at JD's in Prospect. If I could find it locally I would buy a case. Never had a misfire and dropped plenty of hares.

      It's a great brand! Love the shells. Never an issue, burn clean, and corrosion resistant.

    Thats for the great content. Just wondering what shell length and shot size you are using for Canada geese and black ducks.

    • @Huntingpros

      Thanks for watching! My personal favourite for big ducks is #3 1 1/4oz. For geese, I use #2 1 1/4oz usually. Sometimes during the late season for geese I’ll run BB.

    Ok, I believe you're being honest about the shells. But more importantly, how many takes for the first shot?

    • @Huntingpros
      @Huntingpros  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      😄 I love this comment! Truthfully, the first take went almost perfectly, but at the time of recording, I was recovering from a broken foot. I spun around to introduce the video after busting the clay and almost fell down! It took two takes! 🤣

    I’ve use the shelves for a couple years now and walking around with them in the pockets of my waders. They don’t rust up like the other ones.
    It’s always nice to give a shout out to the people behind the scenes😂

    Really wished you put out more rabbit content this yr. I know you said population was low, but that's why you just run and not shoot. Let them dogs run👍

      Maybe next year. My female was diagnosed with IVDD this season. She's pretty crippled up. I'll definitely get some content out next year though.

    Good video, I really enjoyed it!
    Not to be overly critical but my observations on the video of when you showing the target board of the Kent Fast steel target it was very zoomed in and only really showed the main pattern and not the surrounding areas. Your "other" shot target was much more zoomed out and showed the entire board and where the shot impacted but I was unable to really assess if the overall pattern of the kent ammo and if there was any outliers due to the filming. Because of this it make it hard to be able to trust the video. I'm sure you were not trying to deceive anyone but hard for us the viewer to truly be able to assess.

      Thanks for the input. You can rest assured I didn’t intent to deceive anyone. I didn’t realize this until editing after the video was made.

    Everyone is entitled to have an opinion, and mine is that Kent faststeel 2.0 is garbage! I’ve had up to 5 misfires from a single box. I don’t think I’ve ever had a box that didn’t have a dud in it. As for salt spray and rust they are great and definitely do not rust as fast as other brands, that being said I also do not have the same results with shot pattern. They just don’t have a consistent pattern for me maybe it’s my choke but they seem different every single shot. I’ve even had stray pellets miss a sitting duck by 4 or 5 feet at least a dozen times. In MY opinion I think they are absolutely trash and overpriced for duds and poor patterns. I will never buy another box of Kent shot shells ever again.

    • @Huntingpros
      @Huntingpros  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Interesting experience. Thanks for the comment. I've honestly had nothing but positive hunting experiences using Fasteel 2.0. I have gone through approximately 10 cases (10 boxes per case) of Fasteel over the past several years and haven't had one dud shell. They have produced consistent patterns in my Browning A5, Remington 870, Benelli Super Vinci, and my Beretta 687. I'll continue to use them, because I fold ducks with them religiously. 😉

      @@Huntingpros hey man whatever work for you! That’s just my experience with them, I’m not saying nobody should use them because I had a bad experience by no means. Happy hunting this coming fall looking forward to the videos!

      @huntercarroll643 yeah I'm kinda on the line to try the 2.0 or not. The OG Kent fasteel gave me nothing but problems. Brass would swell and would be a monstrous pain in the ass to get out of the chamber. And this was with 3 seperate guns. 870 mag, benelli m1 super 90 and a winchester sx2. And a few duds each box. And I'm extremely particular about keeping my gun and shit clean and dry. So good pattern or not if it jams its not worth it being free
