No, martial arts can suck. If I make a martial arts that teaches you to block punches with your head, them I have made a bad martial art. Thus, ineffective/bad martial arts can exist.
My family absolutely love different types of martial arts and my parents encourage me and my four brothers to excel in our preferred type of martial arts. I also are learning Judo and am currently a Dark green so definitely still got some time to reach black belt there I also have progressed allot in Muay Thai and hoping to master it as when I reached 25. I'm currently 21. My other brothers are way older than me and they all are Grandmasters in Muay Tai and Judo. My personal goal is to become a Grandmaster in Bjj, Judo and Muay Thai.
I think it’s hard to say which is better when comparing the three main grappling arts (judo, bjj and wrestling) they all have pros and cons its more about being aware of those cons so they don’t show up
Isnt lethwei similar to muay thai only they add headbutts? Would that make them a more complete martial art (even if it shortens the users life span due to brain trauma)
I’m not too sure exactly what lethwei I just know it’s similar to Muay Thai. But Muay Thai Boren has headbutts too so Muay Thai could have headbutts too depending on which variation.
@@user-im5we1te8w lethwei from what I've seen is like muay thai but with headbutts. Also the match doesnt end until the fighter is OUT , like if they get knocked out their corner is aloud to try to wake them up so they can keep fighting , something like that , it's insane lmao
@@Jmacisland12yeah it pretty much is the same, but with headbutts… the only thing is the quality of the practitioners is much worse so it isn’t seen global as a decent martial art, that’s what I believe anyway
Lethwei is technically more complete however the fact that muay thai is so much more popular means that it has more practioners therefore the quality of competition is better. The "talent pool" is much deeper, allowing muay thai to overcome the lack of headbuts

I hate it when people compare martial arts, the is no ONE superior fighting style and no martial art is better than the other It all just depends on who uses it and how they use it in a real fight
bjj over wrestling in my opinion, as it’s a more fledged out discipline, people don’t realize that you train both wrestling and judo techniques in bjj, (single/double legs, ankle picks, hip throws, trips like osoto gari) and then with those you also learn jiujitsu techniques
@@JdwagDoesStuff Yet wrestling is more advanced and has way more varieties of offense/defense. It's fine to have an opinion, but saying bjj is better than wrestling is like saying bodybuilders are good at fighting; its just not true.
Even the worst(in terms on self defence practicality) martial arts can be very good if done with enough experience. Some might say that theres no point but if you put enough effort even aikido can actually help in street fighting.
U gotta pick and learn from each and incorporate them in ur training. The entire point of martial arts is to learn as much as u can, use what works for u, and dump everything u dont need.

Nope, lethwei contains all muay thai techniques, the only difference being lethwei is bare knuckle => stronger and more brutal hands, has headbutts => more weapons, and not only that, in lethwei, the ref doesn't seperate the fighters when one is on the ground since it was used in the army so it also has groundfighting, obviously muaythai has less techniques compared to lethwei and for defending, both has pretty the same techniques, just matters whether the practitional wants to focus kn defending or not😊

I think it’s hard to say which is better when comparing the three main grappling arts (judo, bjj and wrestling) they all have pros and cons its more about being aware of those cons so they don’t show up
tai chi too overpowered 😭
Lethwei would be something like an Muay Boram with westrinling child, coupled with headbutts. It is brutal!
Lethwei is technically more complete however the fact that muay thai is so much more popular means that it has more practioners therefore the quality of competition is better. The "talent pool" is much deeper, allowing muay thai to overcome the lack of headbuts
some martial arts might be better than others but in the end it all comes down to the fighter
Muay Thai and Lethwei: We may look alike, but we are different.
Boxing vs wrestling pls
That's not about style, it's on the fighter.
The style matters
@@cyberyousef7519 no it doesn’t the ufc has proved this many times
The best aikido practitioner would get dropped by a below average boxer that’s 30 pounds lighter🤣
@@GodsStrongestKanyeSupporter its all on the fighter and even if the aikido practitioner were to win it wouldn't doesn't prove aikido is the best martial art. It's whoever the better fighter is.
@@someonethatyouknow7604How has the ufc proved this lol? The ufc proved that multiple martial arts are ineffective in live combat, and that some are very good. It literally disproves what you’re saying.
Saying that its all about the practitioner is like saying that a knife is better than a gun in a fight (assuming ur not right next to the person) u have to think with the idea that both opponents are equally capable in their martial arts
I hate it when people compare martial arts, the is no ONE superior fighting style and no martial art is better than the other
It all just depends on who uses it and how they use it in a real fight
Pra quem não sabe todas as qrtes são boas mais depende quem ta usando elas
Wrestling is known as the most dominant martial art as its pretty much the only one that works everywhere .
True the only way you can avoid that is just by dodging and not getting grab and thats the hardest to do
Mma >
bjj over wrestling in my opinion, as it’s a more fledged out discipline, people don’t realize that you train both wrestling and judo techniques in bjj, (single/double legs, ankle picks, hip throws, trips like osoto gari) and then with those you also learn jiujitsu techniques
@@JdwagDoesStuff Yet wrestling is more advanced and has way more varieties of offense/defense. It's fine to have an opinion, but saying bjj is better than wrestling is like saying bodybuilders are good at fighting; its just not true.
@@JdwagDoesStuff the wrestling training is mostly tougher Tho
If i have understood whrestling correctly, you work alot with gravity witch makes it excellent if thats the truth and will carry over to any fight
Even the worst(in terms on self defence practicality) martial arts can be very good if done with enough experience. Some might say that theres no point but if you put enough effort even aikido can actually help in street fighting.
Kung fu vs muay thai
That's like a

U gotta pick and learn from each and incorporate them in ur training. The entire point of martial arts is to learn as much as u can, use what works for u, and dump everything u dont need.

Yeah, but its not a style. Mma nor jkd are styles, but a mix of existing ones. Saying mma beats other arts is essentially cheating, because its all arts at once.
@@bluefalcon6356 it is a style though, any other martial art has multiple things in it that can be found in other martial arts but they aren’t considered mixed martial arts. Like karate has some grappling techniques that can somewhat be found in other martial arts but it’s still just karate.

Never compare grappling with striking, strikers cannot defence against takedowns
and while you are coming in to grapple we can land atleast 5 punches and we can punch you on the ground
I mean, it all depends on the fighter, though there are some martial arts that i'd rather less use in a real fight
How tf does muay Thai beats lethwei
Lethwei is just Muay thati with headbutts
and? Muay Thai has superior defense and techniques
Nope, lethwei contains all muay thai techniques, the only difference being lethwei is bare knuckle => stronger and more brutal hands, has headbutts => more weapons, and not only that, in lethwei, the ref doesn't seperate the fighters when one is on the ground since it was used in the army so it also has groundfighting, obviously muaythai has less techniques compared to lethwei and for defending, both has pretty the same techniques, just matters whether the practitional wants to focus kn defending or not😊
Yeah I was shocked to see that
Most Muay Thai fighters can beat the highest tier lethwei fighters. Just due to the popularity of Muay Thai and the amount of skill in the community. But if based purely on the art, I think lethwei would win
Lethwei is a joke The head is a place to be especially careful
