We’ve flown quite a bit with numerous action cams/Ronin/Osmo etc. you’re 100% right the sensors do not perform well in-flight. YMMV, but we found better gyro performance adding slight decent to turns. Wasn’t 100% problem solver for us, but saw (somewhat) more consistent results.
Sidenote: funny to watch Ronin spaz out when you give it full right pedal lolol

Hi there, I'm not sure I'd recommend the osmo 3.. I have it and I'm not over the moon or excited about it. I had high hope as I have the action 1 but the action 3 suffers with flickering(not sure if you can sort this in the settings) and in lowish light it can't even see. Personally I'd stick with osmo 1

    • @DeadReckoner

@@hulkspointofview2280 flickering? Have you tried setting your shutter speed to a multiple of the electrical frequency of your area? 1/50s in 50Hz areas, or 1/60s in 60Hz areas?

I fly with two Osmo action 3s. I have them mounted under the wing and on the tail. What I want is to turn them on and off remotely via wire. Wifi is not reliable in a metal plane.. Any idea on how to do this?

I took my NFlightCam GoPro plug and removed the usb-c portion and replaced with this and plugged in my airplane headset and it works great. Doesnt offer the option to have charging at the same time, but in my case its fine because I have the OSMO action 3 adventure combo that came with the extra batteries and holder. I change out batteries when I land and then I'm back in action. So far - no overheating issues, but it's cold here in KY right now while I'm using it.
