Hello, This video is crafted with great excellence and professionalism! I am planning to go snorkeling and free diving on an island soon and I am considering using the DJI Action 3 to capture underwater footage. I was wondering if it is necessary to use filters, as I have found some information suggesting that filters can help to improve color correction.Is it necessary to use filters?

It does its job so well. I can shoot and record with ease. Doesn't shut down or freeze up or get glitchy every minute. I don't know how it compares with other cameras but for a $300-investment, I've got my money's worth on the Action 3!

I appreciate your review of the Osma3. As a paramotor pilot I'm always looking for good ways to capture inflight first person views. I was stationed there in Oahu back in my Navy days long before paramotoring. I think I need to return for a visit and see it from the air. Thanks again.

Been using the Action 3 since its release. Its a great camera. Got sick of the GOPRO unreliability and they can push off with their subscription.
I like that DJI went back to the rugged-type design for the Action 3 this time! Just look at how more versatile and functional it became.

Nice video. Questions (1) can you film and turn off the screens completely, for classical music concerts for example (2) what happens when you hold the camera upside down? will the image flip and look normal? Like holding it on a stick close the ground ...

How heavy is it? Can a cinewoop carry it or you need a 5 inch drone?
So I have a Hero 8 since 2019 it's still good, so should I upgrade to the Action 3? I have the DJI Osmo Pocket which I love and Insta360 Go 2 to supplement my content.
If you have issues with it shooting in low light did you adjust to a different aperture?
What about those focusing issues they've been mentioning around? Fixed or nah?

Found you all the way from Down Under. Loved the real world review. Plenty of technical reviews out there on YT but technical data does not always relate to real world. Looking at my first action camera to use for karting so this Osmo Action3 is looking like a pretty clear winner. From what I've read in research, GoPro are great for cases they work, were batteries don't die or they the camera suffers from overheating. Great temperature management and battery life is my real selling point with the DJI. Who wants a great camera that only works 10% of the time GoPro??????. It's pretty well worthless. - Subscribed to see future videos
GoPro overheating can be solved by manually turning the screen brightness down and turning gps off. But why there's no automatic settings to do that to prevent overheating I don't understand.
How secure are the mounts. If I'm riding on crazy bumpy downhill is it secure enough.
What monopod do you use?
Are there build in Gps like Go pro?
If you don't want the wide angle fish eye footage, can it be used in a normal format? Ie just normal wide-screen like anybither camera. Dji said it could but I don't trust their answer! Tx 😊👍
Why did you crash buddy? network issues? flying issues or the dji osmo action 3 was kinda too heavy on the uplight?

Subscription like on the cloud and stuff? I don’t care about all of that. Buying their equipment is enough, no subscription bs on anything on a device. Too much subscription on anything like software and others.
160 mins battery life is massive, my gopro usually goes 60mins

I have ordered one. But the captures are not sharpen. I have tried it in all lights. The shots are not good and the cam is going back 😞
After being told you cannot simply take the memory card out of a go pro and stick it in a card reader we've been on the hunt for an all round action/vlogging camera. This looks ideal 😁

Looks soft to me, what is the manufacturing date? I had the same issue, sent mine back.
The batteries on go pro drain when left in camera. It over heats. The batteries take 2\3 hours to charge, no pd charging

1 part you missing is camera settings. you have mentioned -0.7 to get flatted color but at least show me physically all the settings. thanks for the video anyway
Lol, 1:40 Gopro 11 no need to change the position of the camera, it writes vertically and horizontally. You don't need to look further....

Fortunately I bought My Osmo 3 without viewing any review on comparison between GoPro, because many of the videos bias on GoPro than Dji

Its definitely paid review. He never spoke about focus issue and even November batch people are having focus issue. Just wait for few months and get it

@@Cinoo90 a software can never fix a hardware issue. They have just over sharpened the image. If you have option to return the camera then get it or just wait for few months and get newer batch..

Gopro is still superior
I really wanted to like this camera but was not impressed with the 10bit color . It was literally unusable looked like 240p resolution when its suppose to be 2.7k. i think i got a bad camera.

Not really the King bru sorry. If DJI can fix the resolution or the sharpness maybe this the King for now nope. Watch my vidoes on why this camera losses the shrpness. Thank you.
Tried giving this camera a chance, but it doesn't compare to gp11 in my opinion. Dynamic range is horrible, only shoots in 4k, and with Gopro labs firmware on the gp11 is a game changer that gives tons of hidden features like changing the bitrate from 120 bitrate up to 200 bitrate. Battery on the Osmo action i love though.

While I love the innovation chinese brands are bringing, it's with the baggage of being made by the Chinese with all their geopolitical problems.
