Nice, I'm in the middle of upgrading my stage 2 too a stage 3 , I got slp 3 in full exhaust 2in long tube headers cold air intake, tsp lifters and push rods with btr springs and cam, im really hoping for over 500 rwhp
did yall do your own timing after the install? I've got '98 camaro SS with the same stage 2 camshaft but runs too aggresive, stalls the engine at low revs after a couple of pulls.
This was my buddy’s car and he bought all the stuff from Texas Speed not sure what exact parts they were but it’s stage 2 cam, valve springs and trunnion upgrade. You can call Texas Speed and they can help you. Thanks for watching!
Forgot to ask, who did your tune? I did the exact swap then did the EFI Live thru BlackBear performance and he just can't get rid of the slight flat spot at around 1800 RPMs upon acceleration.
What a sweet sound! I have a 2010 L99 with just headers, cats, and chambered mufflers and a Diablo tune. It sounds good, but not as nice as yours. BTW, mine is the same color. !

We put headers on it and the rest was already on the car don’t know if it was the stock setup or not but look like glass packs you can check out this video where we put the headers on th-cam.com/video/M8xx5aTXXYA/w-d-xo.html
Elemuel Crankfield valve springs, trunnion upgrade, push rods and timing cover gasket. It’s all from Texas speed they well let you know everything you need for your cam swap! 🤙 Thanks for watching!
Elemuel Crankfield no we didn’t do the lifters, it’s doing fine. But if you got an engine with DOD or AFM you need them or high mileage then yeah I would replace them, just my opinion I’m no professional 🤙

Seems like a lot to remove for cam shafts. My 4g63 wasn't to bad, I am looking at a 2011 2SS manual tomorrow though so good to know.

That stage 2 is slightly bigger than my stage 3 lol. I have 230/243 .621 .612 114 +4. Manual car made 470:435. Mine is same colour as yours.
I also got upgraded chain, ls2 chain dampner, trunion bushings, springs, pushrods.

They are 19 inches to the mark and about 23 inches all together

U must of had it tuned before doing the cams because on LS motors even if u do a cam swap u have to get it tuned ur lucky it runs
Yeah he had it tuned after we put headers on and deleted the cats and had to tune it again after the cam swap
