    You probably know this, but for other readers here - Besides the PAS level, the C5 program setting also comes into play. C5 set to 3 is the least power consuming setting (current is 1/2 of available current). I'm pretty sure the default is 4. You can test this by checking how many watts you're pulling on PAS one, on level ground... Then check your program settings and update your C5 to 3, repeat. I bet you'll be sipping less wattage. Goes further, but the assist is less so you'll have to ride slower or pedal harder, always a trade-off, right? ;-)

      I live in Washinton state and the weather has only allowed me to have my 2024 Freedom out on the trails inly once. I achieved 36.5 miles range on the day I had it out, mostly power level 3 and leisurely cruising while pedaling. I believe I had my C5 setting at 4. A bit underwhelming, I was hoping for 45 miles max. Next time I’ll set C5 to (3) and see how much more range I can achieve.

    I keep my C5 setting kinda in the middle on 5 with my 2024 Freedom. Did a 26 mile ride with slower ebike friends, so kept it mostly PAS 2 or 3 at around 22mph, and got home with 70% battery still remaining.The Lectric 3.0 had 40%, and the Aostimotor Snake bike had even less battery and was in the red. However, if you peddle this beast 35-37mph on PAS 5 you will flat suck down a full battery in about 25 miles! I found out that one the hard way, got to peddle the last mile home in 1st gear. I live in a fairly hilly area, not a lot of flat ground.

      Use Mr Tuffy liners, and FlatOut. 16oz of FlatOut in each 26x4 tube. I can not recommend Tannus because they require you air down your tires after each ride or they will flatten out and become thin over time, making them useless.

    now its 210K , the large steel mill was shrunk down turned into a race track and now the race track is being torn up for warehouses, which is the theme of Fontana now all of the old small farms and orchards are going away for warehouses

      @@shootthechit the first day I rode it pedaling I got to 41 mph. It’s lots of fun I still love it even though mine has problems right out of the box. Randomly motor will cut out with both pedal assist and throttle. I’ve talked to Steve and Dan they so far have been helpful trying to solve the issue but it still does it. For example today full battery I try pedal assist it cut out almost immediately, then I throttle only and it cuts out after like 11 miles of riding…. I turn it off and back on then throttle doesn’t work but pedal assist works another 12 miles no problem until battery dies 😂 😭 🤦‍♂ 🤷‍♂

    That's about half what is advertised. If you really opened up the power I bet it would only get like 20 miles. Fast powerful bike though. If they would put in a torque sensor the range would improve. I have the aventure 2 with a 48v 15 ah battery and pedal all the time because it feels so good with the torque sensor and I always get about 65 miles before I charge. I run tour mode in 7th gear at around 15 mph average.

      I really like the quality of the Aventon bikes. You can tell they take pride in their products. Looks like the industry is trending towards torque sensors, but from what I've heard is high powered motors don't work well with them due to surging issues. I haven't experienced this first hand so not 100% sure if that is the case or not.

    • @Jhubble515
      @Jhubble515 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Makes sense. I can see where that would be an issue. Maybe they could fix if where the bike disables throttle if you pedal and decrease the amount of wattage you get. I know most get these bikes for speed. But I find myself pedaling all the time on the aventure 2 just because it is so smooth. I seen in some reviews from the 2024 CES event that brands like Himiway and hey bike said all their NEW modes coming out will be equipped with torque sensors. I have been watching the Heybike Tyson hoping it gets it. I need 2 folding bikes with good torque sensors to take when we travel because the aventure 2s take up so much room. The sinch 2 from aventon needs a bigger battery and hydraulic brakes so maybe they will update that one. Thanks for the response. @@shootthechit

      Maybe it’s different than here in AZ, I ride a lot on the street and that to me was cringeworthy. I don’t want him killed.

      Too Dane with the amount of distracted drivers (cell phones) who are constantly swerving off the shoulder. Id rather be able to see the car and possibly swerve my bike out of the way instead of gettin his from behind without a chance of saving myself.

      There is one section of road if you notice there is no shoulder on the side of the road going with Traffic. I ride it until there is a shoulder on the opposite side then switch over

    What's with pointing out all the people who have no homes as if they were an annoyance to your charmed life? You make money off of TH-cam riding your bike around avoiding Karen's only to be a Kevin. Wow.

      Maybe if they didn't spend half their time stealing things, trashing everything they come in contact with, and starting fires I would be happier to see them.
