Did both my daughters in the nick of time for christmas. Thank you so much you are the best for these videos. How hard would an s22ultra screen be? Got a video for that my friend
Cracked my screen. Ugh. But got the new port installed. Thank you. The screen is incredibly brittle. Removing the screen takes a serious level of patience and finesse. My advice for anyone that thinks they may not get it off in one piece may want to consider going ahead and purchasing a replacement screen to have it on hand.
Great! I've done cell phones before, just needed to see what all to take off for this port. Used a heat gun and was able to reuse the original adhesive strips, no glue. Thanks!
Thank you, this worked great, I used a heat gun to soften the glue, Took me about 30 minutes, including cleaning off the old adhesive, recharge battery to 3% to test as it was flat and glue screen into place.
This was very helpful so thank you! I’m wondering if I now need to replace the actual screen because there are weird lines across it. I am pretty sure it was damaged before I replaced the charger port though. No visible cracks in the screen. Any suggestions?
Try to secure the lcd connection and also ribbon cables. It might the screen or ribbon cable. Always go with cheaper options before moving to change the screen.
Great but unfortunately its VERY important to know that on the end where the speakers are at, there is shielded copper tape that is used for the screen. If you go too far (deep, more than 1-2mm) to get the screen off on that end, you can easily cut through it, rendering the screen useless. I wish I would have known that. Hopefully that helps someone out there.
I just did this but now the screen doesn't work and I've taken it apart again but it all seemed fine. The charging port was the only issue. After charging it a little I heard a notification come through but the screen was still black. Could I have heated it too much? I used a hair dryer on low heat but after ages it wasn't loosening so I put it up. 😭 I can't afford to buy a screen right before Christmas 😭😭😭😭😭 Please help
so yeah, HUGE MISTAKE!!! should have tested the charge port before re-assembly, Just think all that work NEW GLUE!!! and voila... bad new part... DUMB!~!!

Great video. The screws are smaller than a grain of rice. Helps to have a magnetized screwdriver tip. My R&R went perfectly! Thanks!
Thanks for your feedback..
Thanks for the clear and accurate instructions. Worked perfectly for our tablet!

Where did you find the parts to replace the charge port?

Always you have to even it is mentioned or not, needs to test the unit you have replaced and specially the screen.
