There were so many mixed reviews I was a little scared to buy this.-I work 10 hour shifts th-cam.com/users/postUgkxAxiUS5CgVC3j8FwNOHt037zhsquGQpXv and I can watch lectures, jam out, and read articles all day and only use 30-40% of the battery.-The screen is beautiful and the touch is accurate-The camera is on the edge, making this perfect for Zoom calls (I also have the keyboard with the back piece)-It's super thin. The bulk of my iPad kept me from using it often-I never realized how lazy I was until this pencil. The button and flick action (volume up and down, next and back) mean I can kick back without having to lean forward to make changes. I feel like a witch.Only 1 real complaint if it can even be called that, it comes with one background in like 6 colors. It's easy enough to find new ones... but why so stingy?

The question is just, is it worth it or would not even better when this crap get recycled to make a really long lasting Produkt like an iPad?
This device is just an year old and has hardware which was even 2-3 years ago just something in the midrange for low budget…
I think anything beyond the purchase costs are way too much and even the purchase should be way cheaper as the 230$ Samsung want for it, it’s really not a good Tablet and was it never…

@@Eddy_E.Both Apple and Android devices have the same length of support in terms of usability of the device (sometimes Androids even more third party app support)
I really don't know what you are talking about but I have my 2016 Samsung Galaxy Tab A still up and running , even without any updates for years most apps run just fine even TH-cam (I know about older iphones not receiving iOS updates to the point even TH-cam doesn't run even if the device is okay)

    • @Eddy_E.

@@sabehakhan5693 an iOS device which doesn’t most of apps anymore are mostly 10 years and older, so I can just speak for me but in my reality is there a big difference between 6 years and 10 years…
And next to that your with a galaxy device already on the bright sight of the android world, most devices didn’t get that much support, they are mostly completely outdated after 2 - 3 years and most of them doesn’t even run all apps when they came out cuz they just to bad hardware…
So the only devices where you get, I would say „ok service“, in the android world are surprisingly devices wich are not cheaper as apple devices and with this in mind I have no questions where most people would get just more for the money and that’s surly not the 300€ android tablet, it’s the 300€ iPad…
How it seems you don’t recognize that I not spoke about the special things in the android world, I spoked about the average and on this android is something behind about 4-5 years and this gab gets even bigger cuz on iOS we already have devices with 7 or 8 years new iOS and after that we talking usually about 3-4 security updates….
That’s a usetime you will not find on android devices at least in the next 5 years when you will find it ever, and then we still don’t talk about the average, we just talk about the best devices which are in the android world a big exception…

    • @circuit10
      @circuit10 ปีที่แล้ว

@@Eddy_E. It's really not as bad as you think, new apps work on old Android versions usually where they often don't on iOS so there's not that much difference. iOS is a little better in terms of long term support but not by as much as you think

    • @Eddy_E.
      @Eddy_E. ปีที่แล้ว

      @@circuit10 that’s just not true…
On Apple devices you got longer support what ends up automatically in longer appsupport too…
Just try to install a modern app on an android 5 or 6 device and you will see what I mean and devices which Stucks on those firmwares are partially not older then 3 or 4 years…
You will find not a single apple mobile device in the last decade which has just so short supporttimes…
I know that it is harder to use apple devices when apple even kill the security updates but in most cases this needs around 10 years, just show my one single android device which is 10 years old and still run just a single modern daily app, you will find exactly nothing, on the iPad and iphone side you will find devices which do that…
So all in all nothing else as a modern myth from some androidsheeps…😅

The samsung Tab series are probably my favorite repairs. The majority of them are extremely easy, worlds above Apple and their iPads.
regarding the LCD glass being as one... I personally don't see this as a bad thing generally. The issue with glass-only such as the iPad Air 1 through iPad 9 (current gen) is that when the glass gets cracked, that exposes tine internals (LCD included) to the environment. This almost guarantees the LCD will get filthy, and no matter how much you try you will never get an LCD as clean as it was as when it came out of the factory. Compared to the tablets with LCD/glass combos where this simply isn't a concern. Yes it costs more, but especially for those aiming to repair devices for resale, it's a lot harder to sell a tablet that has a nice uncleanable dot (or many) from exposure on the LCD due to broken glass, even if everything else is perfect.

I had a similar experience today, your video shows how difficult a damaged tablet restoration could be.
I just finished fixing my indented iPad Pro 12.9 2018 with shattered display
One corner was indented for about 2mm, had to file the edge railing down to fit the replacement display.
    1. heating display with heating bed of 3D-printer 65C° 10 min
    2. use suction cup to seperate the damaged display from body
(use packaging tape for damaged parts with no suction)
    3. transfer ribbon cables & etc. to new display
    4. hammer the corner into shape🤣file down the railing to fit display
    5. remove old adhesive and adding new double side adhesive tape
    6. reconnect cables and reseal display onto the body
    165€ Display + 4 hours of weekend
Fixing my own electronics is pretty rewarding and fun😇
    Total amateur btw

I mean this is a budget device so it won't be water resistant or something so it has weaker glue but yeah it's easy to repair, but as an owner of the tab a7, I have it well before the a8 I can say that they are just e-waste, they are pretty awful, I am currently using it and even TH-cam is a struggle for it, I'm not taking games into consideration, it's too weak to be used, after 1 update it kind of just became useless, I have to say that you are better getting some more money and buying the iPad 9, even where I'm from it's not that big of a difference, in other countries it may be even closer in price and you get a much better device that is actually usable for more than 1 year, and that year only used mostly for TH-cam and movies

I personally fixed once a Samsung tablet which I bought from eBay for personal use and it was definitely easier to fix than one of those crappy iPads which have their screens and batteries paired to the motherboard.
I bought the tablet for 35€ and invested 210€ into original screen and battery.
It was also a great choice that I got a model from 2020 because the newer models have firmware protections which "prevent" you from installing 3rd party firmware by displaying camera and disabling the selfie camera.
That definitely sucks since I love to install CrDroid and EvolutionX GSI firmware on my tablets since they have support for the pressure points of the s-pen and OneUi is just bloatware that wastes the resources that could be used to render a video or render a multi-layer image (Also knows from certain Twitter artists/ those type of images where you can zoom into certain spot of the image and see another one and then in that another image see another image)
