Is a somewhat wiggly usb c charge cable for the a8 normal? I figure they're designed like that to avoid being broken by being too stiff.

how much would you charge to do this?
How do you know if port on tablet is broken? I see nothing in it. Absolutely nothing, just dark. Shouldn't there be little pins in it? Tab won't charge. Cable and adapter all work on other devices. Tab also seems to be using up the battery, even when it's off. Odd, because this all just happened today! It was fine, yesterday. Can you give advice? Thank you. (It's a samsung galaxy tab 8a.)
Best way is to test the amp consumption , I know you need to have the tools but is the only way to get a better diagnostic , now days you can buy a charger with amp reader for a good price , good luck

I got all the way to the end and when I was trying to put the screen back, the ribbon cable broke. Ugh, now I have to order ribbon cable.
Mine screen black n pressing volume up ir down 10 sec with power button trying both up down volume after 10 sec each shows no signs except that battery thunder sign with ring outside?
For sure is not charging

Ok, I just did this on my tablet, the charger is working now (i can tell by the charging block lights up when I plug it in) But my Tablet will not turn on :(

did you try to disconnect and reconnect the battery? check also lcd cable
